It was our second time to visit this place and this time it's not to have dessert but to have breakfast 9786️. Though the serving time was kind of long, they made it up by giving us a generous serving of lechon kawali and spanish sardines with egg . We super loved the spanish sardines, that's why for our next visit we are planning to order their spicy spanish sardines pasta 9786

If you're looking to find a café slash dessert place in Kapitolyo, Cab Café is the place to go. 128076🏼

It's a relatively spacious place, given the usual spaces in Kapitolyo. With some parking slots up front. Upon entering, I was lured by the display of cakes immediately.

As a chocolate lover, I was contemplating on getting the chocolate cake. But then I saw the tiramisu, which looked appetizing, and I wanted to try that instead. Having mixed feelings about what to order, I asked the staff which cake he would recommend for me instead.

He said their best-seller is their mini pavlova --- and he was right! Apparently, this cake is like that of Conti's mango bravo, minus the chocolate part and nuts. 128514 the mango and cream together was heavenly. It was so fluffy and had just the right amount of sweetness to it. And for only P135, I think it's definitely worth it!

Pardon the poor photography skills.. really not meant to hold a camera 128517 after a few attempts of going here we finally pushed through and this is one of my best worth-the-fat moments 128055

Cafe bianca Php 95
Loved the gradient effect of the fusion between the milk and the coffee 128525 though i forgot to ask the barista about the mix, i enjoyed it

Macchiato Php 95
Loved that caramel syrup on the bottom... apparently le boyfie forgot to mix his drink and so he got most of the syrup out of the drink haha

Chocolate carrot cake Php 85
Really love eating a flavorful and moist carrot cake, it's been a while since i had a slice of cake and this is a perfect reminder of how sinfully cakes are 128055

Choco pistachio Php 134
Le boyfie loved this one but i didn't enjoy it as much as he did coz i was already feeling a sugar crash from all the sweets i've had from the coffee and from my cake... ugh #gettingold
Feels bad to eat too much sugar nowadays... back in college i was able to finish three plates full of desserts whenever we're in a buffet, now i couldn't even finish a slice 128117🏻128117🏻128117🏻128117🏻128117🏻

One of the things i liked was they have value for money, they weren't over priced like other third wave coffee shops but inspite having a lower price, the quality is still there and the servers are very accomodatinng 128077🏻

Nice place to hang out while having your car washed next door. Comfort food offerings are good enough to make you visit again and again.

I could've sworn their coffee was really strong. I palpitated! But their coffee's too sweet. Some sort of caramel macchiato in photo.

I like their Pistachio cake! It's made of meringue but not so sweet. 128525

Love their Pavlova! Just the perfect break from the usual cakes gracing the display cabinets of the cafes. Pavlova is basically a stack of softened meringue sandwiching slices of ripe mango, whip cream and pili nuts. It's hard not to fall from this tower of balanced sweetness!

I paired it with their mint caramel disappointingly served in their customed paper cup. (Seriously, where are the porcelain cups???) Coffee was okay. I wouldn't say it's a pair to remember, talking about mint and caramel, but it isn't bad too. The kick of mint is as good as the first sip then the flavor of caramel takes over all the way down. Definitely, not a cup that I will order again.

Shoutout to the cozy mood of the place. The warm lighting and the rustic finish of the fixtures will surely make you want to stay longer:)

Affordable and worth the travel! 128522

Ang kulit ko pa nman mag tanong how much each cake is. I suggest, they should put prices on each cake stored in the fridge, so people wouldn't ask anymore. Hehe. Pero it's ok, their staff was very friendly and accommodating. 128522

As you can see, I really can't decide which cake to get, so I got a box of 11pcs. Hihi. (Box of 6 not on pic)

For a very elegant looking mini cake for P135?
Not bad. 128522128522128522

My wife ordered the spaghetti Bolognese which is very watery (not saucy, it's watery) but the Felix bread that comes with it is good, crunchy and garlicky flavor. I ordered the southern fried chicken. Better fried chicken than your regular fried chickens, sad thing is I asked for an extra rice and gravy. They gave the rice and said sorry no more gravy. So I said what other sauce you have? The guy walked out and it's been about 10mins almost finish with my meal no gravy, no sauce and no waiter.

For 90php, their Choco Carrot Cake was really worth it all!

The cake itself was perfectly baked, fresh and rich with all the carrots used. The texture and moistness were perfectly paired with the authenticity and thickness of the chocolate. 128149

To wash off the richness of our dinner c/o Locavore. We went to Kapitolyo to look for a dessert place. We wanted something really sweet. A cake. So we went here at Cab Cafe.

The place was just simple. Not the Instagram worthy type of place. But their cake, according various reviews, are great! I wanted to try their bestseller, the mango pavlova but it was not available. We instead ordered the chocolate cake. It was okay. Not too sweet but wasn't that moist, as well.

Went here yesterday for some cathing up with a good friend, aside from the desserts that they have I feel like the place lacks personality, you cannot sense the coffee shop vibe, thus the lack of looloo-worthy photo.

And although their coffees are cheaper, it's super uber sweet that I cannot even finish one serving :(

The ambience wasn't inviting but I liked 4 out of the 5 cakes! The cheesecake was 128525, but the tiramisu I didn't like so much.
