I was looking for some places to eat last Wednesday night before meeting a friend. I was aiming for Gab's Good Grub, but it was packed. Then I passed by this resto-bar located along the main road of JP Rizal, just few steps away from Makati museum. I constantly pass by this place whenever I'm heading to work. So, I suppose it's the perfect time to try this place out.

I came in around 8:00PM and thought I was their first that night. The staffs were still eating dinner when I went in. The place looks fine to me; high ceiling, spacious, a poster of Jim Morrison and plays non-mainstream music or mostly into classic/glam rock and some 90s ans 2000's alternative & indie rock (Thank God!). +1 star for that! 128526

I tried their Beef Tapa for Php 130.00. It was served not more than 15 minutes. The scent was inviting and its taste was even more interesting. The usual tapa could be sweet or salty in general, but this one's different although both taste were present. You can taste the presence of "sate" or a form of sauce extracted from coconut milk (gata), which makes it also a bit spicy in every bite. This is a true winner for me! 128076

They also have sizzlers, some grilled stuff, bar chows like jalapeño sticks with bacon & wings, and also some cocktails for drinks! 128522

The owner introduced himself (not sure if he's Mark or what), and told me a little bit of what's in Cabina. They're having acoustic sets every Thursday and Friday (if I remember it right). He also added that around this time, their place was slowly getting packed as soon as the night goes on. It's definitely a perfect place for those kind of sets 'cause their sound system is "spot-on".

I'm not sure about their parking space, but I don't think they have or at least, street parking in the corner street.

Would like to go back to try some other food and attend their acoustic set some time. 128522
