The place was ok but I really had issue with their sound system. The speakers were busted and it hurt my ears. Hope they'll have it fix. The mozzarella "sticks" was actually a thin bar sliced in into 4. Forgot the price same with Mule 128517

Hubby wanted finger food for dinner so I suggested Cable Car. I almost ordered the Bacon dish but friends and family kept on raving about Cable Car Rice. My curiosity got the best of me. It basically is a bowl of adobo fried rice with chicken and pork pieces topped with a fried egg. It was bland and ordinary. I wish I ordered that Bacon I spotted on the menu.

The saddest looking Fish & Chips landed on our table. Good thing it tasted so much better than how it looked. The fish was fresh and didn't taste like dory from the grocery. We loved the dipping sauce and I even added it to my Cable Car Rice.

The order of the other table looked so good. A huge pile of fried stuff and other things that are meant for sharing.

Music was a bit loud for dinner time and lights were dimmed. Cable Car is more of a drinking place than a dinner place.

First time to dine for lunch last Friday. I had their Crispy Tapa (P225), strips of tapa covered in flour (i guess) served with fried rice and egg.. Meal is just ok. The tapa has too much flour on it. Also, its a bit pricey with little serving.

This visit to Cable Car was last minute. We chose a nearby place but they ran out of beer so we had to find a new place.

The boys liked the Cable Car immediately because they were allowed to smoke inside. It's a good thing also to keep your conversations going because they won't go out just to smoke.

We ordered the Combo Platter #1, Beef Salpicao and Sizzling Tapa. The salpicao is good. Though it looka like small beef strips with sauce when it arrived, it was tender and the sauce was full of flavor. The tapa also had the same tenderness. Its flavor came out more because of the sizzling-ness. The combo platter included buffalo wings, chicken fingers, potato skins, nachos and calamares. Everything on the platter tasted good and didn't overpower each kind. The potato skins had cheese and bacon on it and it was okay.

Opted for a quick bite before battling the weekend traffic. I ordered the blue cheese burger and I must say that I made an excellent choice. Big in size and and in flavor. The bun was soft, the patty tender and juicy and the veggies were fresh and crunchy. There was no scrimping on the blue cheese as you could taste it in every single bite. Goes well with your favorite beer.

Now I am stuffed and ready to go!
