Working on a weekend gives me an excuse to eat out. Lol

Cafe Adriatico opens late so it's a good choice for late dinner. It was almost 11pm.

I ordered Polpetta Spaghetti (Savory meatballs simmered in tomato sauce and herbs) it also served with garlic bread. |295php

Taste: it was good, pasta was cooked perfectly. The meatballs were flavorful and the dish comes with 4! Yay! I added chili flakes for extra kick. The garlic bread slices were good too! Super soft, I liked it!

Service: The staff who assisted me was super attentive. He even asked if he I prefer cold or lukewarm water since I still have a cough and maybe my voice gave me away. He also dropped by at my table half way through my meal to check if my food is okay. I felt valued. 128522

Ambiance: homey like an old grandparent's house.

Thank you, Cafe Adriatico, for the nice meal and service!

I ate lunch here on whim and had a Baby Pusit Pasta (279php) just because it's unusual and new to me. I loved how it was cooked well (no hint of being 'malansa') but I feel like something was amiss. Cheese, maybe? 128539 But that could just be my taste buds always looking for cheese when it comes to pasta dishes. Overall, it was a pleasant stay at Café Adriatico. 128077

My balikbayan friend gave me an evening challenge, us being in Cubao for dinner.... To find a restaurant that would serve great Filipino food yet have that classy ambiance that would host her family...though there are lots of options around the area, one of the considerations was for a venue to have them dress up a bit.... And immediately I thought of Cafe Adriatico! I couldn't go wrong for this LJC Group of Famous Foodie places....it was just smack on since they were from the North, and the menu of Chef Claude was perfect for their gastronomic cravings!

I also love the fact that the interiors speak of an ancestral Filipino Home, wooden details and accents, capiz cutouts, wooden tables and chairs which me and my friend adore 12852210084

Yes we pinoys miss the usual sisig, sinigang, bulalo, crispy pata, palabok... But we also went for Cafe Adriatico's pinoy fusion cuisine such as their Pasta Negra, in squid ink... We call this the pasta of true friends... Chatting and laughing while all our lips are black from the pasta sauce hehehe ( without being conscious hahaha ).... We also had the Pinabukadkad na Crispy Pla Pla, butterfried fish with balo balonand fresh mustard leaves.... And for a change we had refreshing guyabano shake, surprisingly yum as well!

So that night it was a mission accomplished moment and everyone's tummy was happy.... We enjoyed the food as much as we enjoyed the interiors and of course the family bonding!

It may look intimidating at first bur Cafe Adriatico is one of those restos that's actually welcoming in more ways than one.

With its stiff interiors come a place that's actually comforting and inviting with its nice servers and a good menu that offers a variety of American, Filipino food, a fusion in one.

I ordered their Chicken Stroganoff and asked for mashed potato instead of a rice pilaf. I loved the creaminess and butter after taste of the potatoes, its softness and tastiness that's actually addicting. The freshness and crispiness of the vegetables on the side made me so happy, too! The main was OK --- chicken was cooked well, the sauce was really powerful paired with the mushrooms in it.

Definitely coming back for more dishes that I could try! Their Norwegian Salmon sounds promising too!

If you're craving for some really Crispy Pata, try this one! For 695php, this can be shared by up to 6 people!

The atchara and combi of soy sauce and vinegar on the sides made the knuckles even more delicious!

Café Adriatico’s food is pricier than most Filipino restaurants but it simply means you are getting the best taste and quality. You can’t go wrong with a classic like Lola Ising’s Adobo - 2 generous pieces of pork ribs with adobo sauce on the side. (This dish is served on a bed of rice that’s been cooked in the same adobo sauce… yum!) This place is highly recommended for balikbayans or for anyone who wants to experience excellent Pinoy food.

Could hardly believe its our first time to try Café Adriatico. We were missing so much!

The chicken kiev was wonderful! It looks dry at first but the moment you slice it, the herb butter sauce would spill out. Squeeze some lime into it and its just so good. Glad I tried this dish.

Ian ordered the lengua estofado. I'm not a big fan of lengua but he said its good as well.

Coffee is just P75. Wanted to get some dessert but we were so caught up in talking and eating we didn't realize that its almost time for Kingsman! Anyway, we'll be back.

The staff were all friendly, and they were all quick to attend to everybody's needs. The food, especially the desserts, were great. And the price was just fair, taking into consideration the taste of the food and the amount they served. ;)

First time to try this place coz it kinda looks intimidating with all the wine displays and classy interiors.

The place is a bit small, it can only accommodate around 30 people.

They're well known for their filipino-spanish cuisine but I opted for their house special.

Mozzarella Chicken Parmigiana with buttered pasta P350 11088110881108811088

The chicken was easy to slice, goes well with the cheese on top. The buttered pasta was also delicious.

Vanilla Cappuccino P120 11088110881108811088
The drink was tall and well presented. So far their whipped cream is the best I've tasted 128077 It wasn't too strong, just the right amount os espresso 128522

Service
Average, they were fast but not that attentive with the customer's needs.

2nd time here and this time we ate na.

I got the calamari - which I thought had small servings but turned out marami pala. They were laid out on a bed of fried kangkong and in the middle were 2 dips: tartar and chili sauce - the red one with oil.

My friend ordered palabok, which was good for 2 din - seriously, looks can be deceiving in this resto! 128518

We shared the hummus and pita bread - which were warm and freshly baked 128523128079 it alao had some olives on the side. I was glad I wasn't the only one who liked olives 9786

I also ordered green mango shake since it was so hot outside (we ate here last Thursday), but what else is new?

Bill was php980 and it wasn't bad. Super busog kme and really excellent service. Good job, Café Adriatico! 128079128079128079

Unfortunately, I didn't get to eat here because my friend and I were originally supposed to just have coffee at CBTL but they were jampacked. When we went to SB, puno rin. So yah, last resort was CA (sorry!)

I got the decaf brewed coffee. It was on the bitter side, even after I put brown sugar and 2 creams.

I did love the look, smell, and feel of the place. Not to mention excellent service! 128079128079128079 this was around 7-830pm tonight so if you get bad service from them, it's the crew assigned to that shift.

No pic, sorry! Napasarap kwentuhan e 128516
