Staying at Astoria last weekend with COGS Team were absolutely fun. Bonding each other through games, dancing and cooking. 🇨🇦

Early morning we went to Astoria Cafe for a buffet breakfast which is included in the staycation package. We were one of the early birds and we were the one who open the cafe for breakfast.

Astoria Cafe can accommodate up to 100 pax. The buffet table is not that big and it was divided into sections: Soup and Breads, Salad Bar, Main Dishes, Eggs, Cereal and Juices. They served hot coffee and/or chocolate drink. I asked the server if I add another head, how much it would be? She said Php500.00 net. 128523

Dishes were limited, they only had 5 entree, for the soup they had cream of broccoli, for appetizers, 4 types of salad, including the "create your own" and ham and spinach frittata, and for desserts, fruits in season and 6 different kinds of cakes and pastries. If I'm not mistaken, price per head is 690. Food wasn't that impressive, but I did love the Penne Primavera and the soup.

Poor buffet selections and taste. The same line up during lunch and dinner, they just change the sauce. One cant help but think that they're recycled!

The staff badly needs improvement!

My cousin won a raffle for a free dinner buffet and a room accomodation (but with requirements).

Went there Saturday past 6:30pm. Signed a form to avail of the free buffet. I have read that they have limited array of food which is true, but food was good!

Liked everything just few misses!

I enjoyed the Salad station greens plus dressing, Crabmeat with Cucubmber, Kimchi Salad, Korean Beef, all 5 Entrees (chicken, fish, etc), I dont usually go for dessert but I liked their blueberry baked cheesecake127856, chocolate mousse, chocolate cake.

They also have breads 127838 & fruit station (watermelon 127817, melon 127816, pineapple127821).

Singer 127908 and then band were good, chill music in the background.

Refillable iced tea.

Staffs were accomodating, and service was good.

Forks and Knives are on top of thr tables (no table napkins to prevent them from bacteria), The cake with peacan nut tasted like insecticide.

But other that that, I enjoyed the free buffet dinner.

And I had no problem with the 90min presentation. You can say no to 500-600k membership fee 128540

Complimentary Breakfast buffet!
thanks to my brother in law's family for the experience!

I did try my best to taste what this cafe offers for breakfast (cause Im not used to eat heavy on breakfast)....
what i liked most is their omelet to choose your own filling.
Wide variety of food to choose from...
Wheat bread, tuna turnover, croissant128077, doughnut128077
Taho, congee 128077
Garden salad bar - all the leafy stuffs
Corned beef, sausage, baked beans128077, daing na bangus, adobo in white sauce,
They also have a cereal bar (i wasnt able to try cause im full na)
"Buffet diner lugi"
The place is cool, elegant and sophisticated.
I guess its 500/head if your not a hotel guest.

Classy ambience and vast cuisine choice with live music on weekends. Their breakfasts are especially good.

Breakfast Buffet was just so-so. Nothing special. Although staff were very accommodating and friendly.
