Was feeling productive that day and decided to finish my school works so I googled cafe's that has a power outlet and fast wifi connection. Cafe Breton was one of the cafes that was recommended by the booky report but sadly, they do not have wifi connection at all! Bummer.

Although not a lot of people dine here so you can have a peace and quiet environment while doing your work, I still suggest that you bring a pocket wifi if you're planning to get shit done here.

Obviously, I stayed and ordered Banoffee under the Ice Blended Drinks in decaf because I've been trying to avoid caffeine!

I can't tell you how much I loved this drink! I love anything banana flavored and this one got me in just one sip! 128514 I finished my drink faster than expected because it was really good. This drink is a must try to my fellow banana lovers out there! Haha

They also have crepes, either you make it yourself or you choose from their favorites. As you can see in the photo, you will see how they will make your crepe and to me that's really fascinating. I did not order their crepe because I was having doubts on finishing the whole thing when it looked like it's good for two persons. I don't want to waste delicious food neither did I wanted it to go so I told myself I'll just come back with some friends haha!

Good customer service in this branch as well! They give me water every once and a while even when I do not ask for it. Hehe!

I promise to be back as soon as I can! That banoffee really left a mark on me 128525

Meet Tuna Salad Sandwich with extra bacon!

It's tuna salad on a bed of lettuce served on brown bread with caramelized onions. I added extra bacon just because...I love BACON!

I also had Cafe Mocha paired with this delicious sandwich. 128522

Brown's was closing but my friends and I still have a lot of kwento so we decided to move to another place for coffee. Starbucks was full (thb parang Jollibee na ang Starbucks minsan), so we went to Breton.

We didn't order any crepes (an abomination, I know 128561) since it was late and ordered some coffee instead. Mine was an Iced Cafe Caramel which wasn't overly sweet. Loved their whipped creme as well! The downside for me was that they used paper straws. I know its for reducing carbon footprint, but I really cannot deal with the after taste. Better no straw than paper straw (big deal pa talaga 128540) 128514

PS. If ordering crepe, my top recommendations are Fantastic Pinay or Le Magnifique!

Friends came a bit late, but at least we made it before they finally closed their doors. Some of my friends didn't know what to order so we did share 2 of their best-selling crepes (and my favorites) - the La Pinay and Le Magnifique.

Everybody seems to love both crepes, but I think I found true love with Le Magnifique (on the photo). It's just perfect that I almost finish the whole thing on my own and forget about the three other people beside me sharing this plate of goodness. Because of too much love, I got a plate of my own so I can enjoy this awesomeness in its full splendor!

After so many recommendations, I finally had a taste of La Pinay. Inside this hot crepe is a generous amount of sweet, sweet, mango slices and it is completed with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup on top. A hot-and-cold thing that works! 128521

Zia M, Kirby G & Ruth A told me to join them for dessert in Cafè Breton. I came in around 8:30pm and they're already done. It was also the first time to meet Jared T! 128526128170

I tried one of the dessert crepes and that's Lost paradise. It's a crepe stuffed with stewed apples with cinnamon & raisins marinated in rum and then topped with vanilla ice cream. To be honest, I'm not a fan of raisins mixed with any food and I honestly didn't notice that it was included in this crepe. Anyway, I just removed them all from the crepe and turned it into "Adam & Eve". So it's like, I paid almost Php 40,00 for the addition of raisins to my crepe, that I didn't even eat. Okay, my fault though!

I've been here a lotta times and their service had been consistently good, although I need to follow-up about 3x for a glass of water. 128517

After having a pasta party in Cantina, we wanted to eat and go out some more. 128111 Kapitolyo, SweetX, Capitol commons were in our minds, but it was already late so we ended up here with Jared T and Russel F. 128108

Shared crepe with Kirby and Ruthie, and I ordered Caramel Latte to relax my tenses. 9749

La Pinay, is as Still as yummy as evaah. 128523 While my coffee is somewhat sweet, it is too strong for my liking. 128590

You know it's good food when you take a bite before taking a picture! Haha. I think breton is still the best place for crepes.

Try customizing their usual crepes. I just added ice cream on my fantastic pinay. And for savory crepes, i usually get mushy chix plus asparagus and sunny side up on top. The guy beside us actually asked for my order and got the same one.

Liked it because of the area. Got to try the Galette Breton, which is spinach, shrimps sauteed with crab meat and onions, fresh cream and gruyere cheese embedded in a Buckwheat Crepe (280 PhP)

It's alright, a bit too pricey for the item though.

To eat on a first date? I guess, but there are probably better places.

P.S. Best crepe I've tasted in a while. So that's a +1

It was a Wednesday evening when kumpareng Zia M persuaded me to go for an evening run. [persuade talaga! 128514] We were about to get off when suddenly the skies turned to red and about to rain hard. So we decided to just go somewhere for a chill.

We went to Café Breton for a quick dessert fix. I got the Lé Magnifique dessert crepe myself and liked it, although I still prefer La Pinay over this one. It's not bad at all, but still, La Pinay still stood its place on top of my favorite crepes! 128513

When I set foot here, I didnt realize I'll be exposed to a delightful treat. "la Pinay" is a delish crepe which will give that feeling of "I just cant get enough.." 128513

Make sure to eat fast thou because the vanilla ice cream might melt early.

An overwhelming crepe full of mangoes, vanilla ice cream on top, drizzled with chocolate syrup and more chocolate syrup underneath. 128525 Sweetness overload!

Thanks for this Russel F! 128524128076

Visited Café Breton last night for a light dinner. The place wasn't fully occupied so I got my seats right away. I got their Spaghetti (the only pasta on their menu) and the most acclaimed La Pinay dessert crepe.

After about 15 minutes, Spaghetti was served in this pan-shaped plate with 2 pieces of toast. The thin pasta works well with its sweet and meaty sauce. Yes, the serving of meatballs was quite generous for Php165,00. But somehow, I made this impression that it actually tastes like McSpaghetti! 128514 The triangular toast was good though. Ilang kagat lang ubos na! 128513

La Pinay came in afterwards. I was actually surprised that it was this big for its price of Php180,00. I could still recall the ones I've tried in La Creperie months ago and couldn't help myself from comparing it to this one. La Pinay is a soft dessert crepe in a rectangular form (that's about 6x4"), filled with fresh mangoes then topped with big scoop of Vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce all over the crepe! It's really good and an instant favorite! Definitely a must try! 128076

Now I'm looking forward to try La Pinay on my next visit, and maybe the other crepes as well.
