Someone's craving for galette this morning that we headed straight to Cafe Breton in Alabang.

I was looking for something new, but I remembered this dish was something my bf wants me to try. So I'm excited! We arrived at past 9A.M. And the place is opened with few diners. The place has consistent interiors, same as the other branches I visited (Greenbelt & Podium).

Sunday breakfast in this place felt good with calm ambiance, homie feeling and Its such a great view to see orders cooked on the spot.

We had the same order, its Breton Galette (P300) it has spinach, shrimps sauteed with crab meat & onions, fresh cream and gruyere cheese. I'm intrigued. Breton never fails to satisfy me. The dish is quite big. Lots of shrimps! I enjoyed how the fresh cream as it gives taste to the entire dish.

We share an order of Chorizo Burger with Egg (P275) its a beef patty topped with chorizo sauteed with onions. Served with salad on the side. I was quite full with the galette. I grab a bite to taste this one, rich patty flavor. Its also good!

The double americano gives the boost this morning. Enjoyed my coffee128077🏽

Just enough salt. 128076 for those who are really trying not to eat meat. I would recommend this.

Ooooh! Pealed tomatoes! 127813 that is my first reaction. 128522 i liked it. But maybe i love the usual bacon strips more. Hihi!

Double cafe caramel 110881108811088
Not for strong caffeine drinkers. It might not give you the start of day kick that you like.

Nice staff.

Waiting time 10 to 20 mins

This has always been a safe place for me and one of the top restaurants in my list whenever I want to eat a proper meal and THEN have great dessert afterwards. For my meal, I usually go for a galette americain. With that being said, for this visit, I got the galette rustique (what?!) and my favorite drink: hot calamansi juice.

First things first, americain > rustique. But rustique > good. So still liked my dish, I found it had the right balance of taste with the tomato provencal offsetting the saltiness of the smoked bacon. Even though I still like americain more, it’s also 40 Php more expensive than rustique so I guess all in all, they’re at parity. I haven’t tried the other galettes and it might be because the rustique and americain are the cheapest ones. Haha Just noticed that yesterday. But not to worry, because I smell a family dinner happening here some time soon. (haha). The calamansi juice is made using concentrate and not the real thing (it’s a lie!) but it’s still pretty good and I order it every time my body is not looking for coffee that day.

I always had this very curious (and might even be slightly funny) thought whenever I order here. You can actually buy a crepe for 65 Php and then “build/make” your own crepe by choosing its fillings (you have 34 items to choose from). Now… I was thinking, what if I order the basic crepe and then add all 34 additional toppings? Because they don’t state anything in the menu about a limit to the number of fillings you can add to the crepe. I can just imagine the cook struggling to fit all the toppings in the limited area she needs to place them all in. Anyway, that’s it. #weird my apologies! Haha

Anyway, thanks everyone! Take care. :)

A friend visited us in the office and led us here. The place has 2 floors, decent space and friendly staff. We were so noisy and took long before finally deciding what to order and they didn’t mind it. They just smiled and waited patiently for our orders.

Not a fan of crepes, but since crepes is their specialty here, I opted to try and order one. I ordered La Pinay. A mango crepe topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. Once served, prepare to devour the vanilla ice cream on top as it melts down easily. The crepe was good and sweet enough. It was filled with diced ripe mango, drizzled with chocolate sauce. It can be for sharing, but can be consumed alone by a sweet tooth and crepe lovers.

I guess I am starting to love crepes now. Will definitely come back to try more dishes.

The actual place was okay, but I think it needs some renovation from inside & out. But if your the type of person who likes a homey feeling with an old school feel, you're in the right spot. For me an attentive crew is a plus which they have. The spaghetti was okay, the crepes (dejavu & La Pinay) were the highlight of course it didn't disappoint us, the burgers (mozzarella & Bacon cheeseburger) was good but not great (didn't have the wow factor). As a coffee lover, I really enjoyed their brewed coffee, the bitterness taste was strong & excellent. All in all, yes I'll come back again and try the "make your own crepe".

First time to try a savory crepe at Breton, and I must say, I've been missing out! Forgot the exact name of what I ordered but it had the words cheesy chix in it lol it was good and creamy. :)

I also ordered a green tea latte, which is a usual order for me, but it tasted (and looked) more like sugared milk, sans the green tea.

Was craving for crepes the other night so we headed over to cafe Breton before going home. Been a while since I was here last and I honestly don't go here too often so I'm always confused with what to get 128523
Finally chose the le magnifique. Wanted something with strawberries but it might be too sweet.
Order came out in about 5 mins and we just scarfed it down! Hubby got a strawberry shake too which was nice and creamy.
Less one star cos the bananas didn't taste too fresh IMO. Still pretty good 128077🏼

Craving for Tus' half baked cookie but was so disappointed that they were closed yesterday 128557128545 So we spotted Cafe Breton and thank goodness they were open 128525

Cafe Breton is a favorite among dessert lovers and coffee drinkers... their French crepes are a must try...Could not resist ordering this sweet La Pinay which is basically a mango crepe topped with French vanilla ice cream drizzled in chocolate syrup...128077128525 Paired it with a cup of Cafe Au Lait and it was dessert heaven!

After a good morning Sunday 10k run, I needed to replenish lost calories and spent enerygy with a protein bomb. Cafe' Breton was nearby and the choice was Galette Paysanne. This was a whole Hugarian sausage, 2 sunny side up eggs, onions, asparagus and cheese sauce on a whole wheat galette. Breakfast of Champions, indeed! Protein from the sausage and egg plus vits and minerals from the onions and asparagus. I love running, I love eating! Run to eat! 128516128540128541

After a tiring workout, I needed something sweet to reward myself since i reached my exercise hours beyond the limit! And i've been craving to eat crepes at Cafe Breton since I've always wanted to try eating there.

I ordered their La Délice crepe which comprises of Vanilla Ice Cream, Bananas, Almonds and Chocohazelnut spread. I was torn between Blueberries and Cream crepe and La Délice. I ended up with the latter because I don't want whipped cream on my crepe. And so my verdict is... I fell in love with the crepe I've chosen! I definitely into the spread since its the heavenly Nutella and the Ice cream is superb! I'm betting that the ice cream is Tillamook. The crepe is not too sweet and just right for chocolate lovers.

I will go back to this cafe to their other crepes. Their crepes are now my favorite! 128525
