Very cozy place. A haven for either book lovers or (board) game enthusiasts. Haven't tasted their foods yet, however their drinks are good. I wouldn't say they are great since some drinks are a bit bland, but some are really tasty and refreshing like The John Green drink.

The place has the tendency to get rowdy/noisy when there are people playing games.

Overall, great ambiance and friendly staff.

I'm back! this time with pictures128516 bacon carbonara's taste was not consistent. But it's fine. Tried their mitch albom frap, if u have a sweet tooth, u will like it. They have few selection for pasta and sandwiches coz coffee is their forte. They have books and game boards that u can use while you're in their place. Oh forgot to tell u, u need to buy worth 100 pesos drink before u can borrow game board. 1 game board at a time.

Liked the cozy place. They have sofa and double deck seats. Sorry don't have picture. Carbonara and blueberry oreo cheesecake was good. They also have books and boardgames. Crowd here is more serious and quiet. 128513

Tried this coffee shop the next day after a friend recommended it to me. It did not disappoint! The place is cozy and pretty. But like some reviews I read, I find the frap I ordered too sweet for my taste but the Bacon Carbonara is good and they are generous with the cheese.

I will definitely come back here but I will be earlier next time to get a better seat.

I've loved this place since it's soft opening and it has improved a lot since then! Great place to chill and also hangout with friends.

They have a good selection of board games and cards.

Their grilled ham and cheese sandwich is to die for!

Rita Mae Brown is my favorite drink. It's a mix of mango and strawberry. I love it!

Such a nice and comfy place. Discovered this place when one of my clients asked to meet me up here. Turned out his tita owns this business. I was even able to meet her while we were talking. If only this place is along my daily route, I would visit frequently.

Ordered the Chocolate Peanut Frappe and its nice! Books are cute, plus game boards and a bed above the books where pabebe high school girls were making harutan while I was there.

Must-try!

I just found out about Cafe Diem recently but it has been around since late 2014. It's a cafe, a library, and a board game place. That's a lot for such little space. I went on a weekday, late morning, and there were only a few people studying/working. By early afternoon there were already some college students who went to play. The vibe of the place was really homey as there was a sofa on a carpet on one side and on the other was a loft-ish/double deck booths.

128205The Ritu Ghatourey (Chocomint Vanilla)
There's a proper name for all their beverages, which are after famous individuals (there were writers, musicians, politicians). On the menu, they also include a famous quote from that personality. The drink was good though I would have appreciated a more minty flavor.

128205The Rita Mae Brown (Mango-Strawberry Juice)
I liked this drink although I don't think they actually use fresh fruits. The dominant flavor was of the Mango's.

128205Bacon Carbonara
They use Farfalle/bow-tie pasta for this dish. I liked it as it was really creamy and cheesy and bacon-y. Bacon-y?! Lol.

They host game nights and they also have promos running so, you may check those out on their Facebook page.

P.S. Gwen I The map pin needs to be relocated. You may verify with Google Map. Thank you! 9786

If there's a place I could definitely describe as "chill and relaxed" or "cozy" simply put, Cafe Diem will be my top choice. The place is small yet very inviting with its bedroom design.

I was so fascinated with the bunkbed setup of their dining tables where there are books also placed on the shelves. You can also play board games over your delicious coffee.

Their drinks were named after famous and influential people throughout history. Chose The Wayne Dyer as my order. I don't even know who this Mr. Dyer is so I googled him and found that he is a motivational self-help speaker. Awwww. But I ordered this not because of him but because it offers chocolate flavor - and it did not disappoint. The drink was not too sweet yet very chocolatey.

My friend also ordered the Banana Walnut Cupcake and oh my gosh, my jaw dropped! I immediately fell in love with this pastry! I think I already found another happy place I can be peaceful with.

Passed by this place while traversing Kamuning. I wanted a chill place to hang out by myself and was glad I chanced upon this just as it was starting to rain.

I went inside and the place felt really nice and cozy. Books were set up on one set of shelves, while the shelves on the other side of the cafe held board games. You can borrow and read/use any of them free of charge during your stay. 128077 There were a couple of chairs, tables and a nice loft-type area accessible by a ladder, with pillows and cushions all around. Fun for barkadas.

The drinks menu involved frappuccinos, hot drinks, etc. with names such as the Abraham Lincoln, the Coco Chanel and the Mahatma Gandhi, accompanied by inspirational quotes from these people. I got the Mignon Mclaughlin (a Milo banana smoothie) for 155 pesos in their tallest size. This was great! First sip until the last. They also offer pastas (around 180 pesos each) and sandwiches (around 150 pesos each). I got their bacon carbonara pasta which came with bow-tie pasta and a generous serving of bacon and creamyy carbonara sauce.

I wanted to try their sweet offerings but they were already almost all out aside from their panna cottas. I decided on their chocolate cookie instead. Bleh. Wasn't impressed with this one. I still liked the overall feel of the place, though and would love to come back. 128522

A quiet place just a few feet from the busy 11th Jamboree-Kamuning intersection, Cafe Diem makes for perfect chilling sessions. It shares entrance with a wellness center so a mani-pedi can be ordered as well. Drinks have quirky names such as the Marcus Aurelius and the Mitch Albom, and pastas and sandwiches are available. They have a small loft area for groups and allow customers to borrow board games for entertainment. They have a mixed selection of books if you prefer that. The customer traffic isn't that heavy, so you can have some quiet time if you really need to study. Price range... Almost the same as regular cafes.

This cafe is a nice and super chill place to stay in. I recommend this place to students that are finding a place for studying and reviewing for school.
