Late Post 1285139996🏼️

During our stay here, we were able to try both the dinner and breakfast buffet. Personally, with the deal we got, both are really sulit. Though the selection is not as wide as other hotels in Manila, most of the dishes served are yummy and of good quality.

I loved everything that was served during the dinner buffet especially the salad - fresh and crisp lettuce w different types of add ons, baked salmon 128525, the lechon kawali was very tasty and tender, and the dessert station, didn't expected that much but the dark chocolate tart/pie was surprisingly goooood! We all loved it!!! 128077🏼

And as a breakfast lover, I enjoyed the egg, pancake/waffle, cereals/milk, and fruit stations haha dami 128517 Everything I want within my reach haha. 128518

I had some good dining days here but today is just okay.
None from the buffet table stood out however there are many food to choose from. You may have salad, pasta, sushi and etc.

The dessert bar is my favorite place and it has always been packed with good bite-sized pastries but I have to stop myself from eating even one.

Only few choices for breakfast but good enough. Liked their version of fried chicken. That was the only dish that stood out.

Early morning breakfast buffet before Christmas Eve c/o hubby's Boss! Nothing beats free buffet! Place of choice, Cafe Eight by Crimson Hotel.

Loved the vibe of this hotel. Looks small from the outside but really spacious inside. Clean, simple and elegant. The buffet spread had a section for cold cuts, salad bar, fruits, nuts, different kinds of cheese, a selection of bread with croissant and Danish, different bread spreads, pancakes, pasta, rice - steamed or garlic, veggies, omelet station, soups and congee station, the usual Pinoy breakfast hits like adobo, lonnga, tapa. And then BACON and hash brown. They also have a selection of cereals, yogurt, fruit juices & coffee. Then there was this section for dessert with different flavors of sponge cake slices.

Nothing extra ordinary or special. It's just like any other breakfast buffet spread except maybe for the croissant and danish.

My phone died out on our way to the hotel since I wasn't really supposed to go. Before going home, hubby asked for a slice of Blueberry Cheesecake for take out and we had to wait for about an hour for it! Since I was too full to eat the cheesecake when we got home, I ate it around dinner. Still, nothing special. It was too soft and creamy. I like my cheesecake a little crumbly.

I was informed by the receptionist that they're buffet is on 50% discount. I decided to try it out because it's not everyday that I stay here. The normal price is at P1,600.

It wasn't that much when I got there. I guess the options were at 50% too. There was a long table with about 5-6 dishes. Chicken, Pork, Beef, Veggies, Fish and Rice all covered. Parang carinderia lang. The food was okay except for the Kerala Chicken Curry because it was really good.

They have more options in the appetizers section compared to main course and my favorite was the nachos with cheese and chili beef.

I guess it's Diabetes Buffet because there's so much to choose from the desserts section.

The food was okay so they don't really deserve to be disliked or hated in my opinion. Options is something they need to work on. Buffet was never associated with the word limited. Ma umay ka naman kung unli balik pero pare-pareho lang kinakain mo.. Purga. Haha

Ate here for a dinner ala carte and it was the worst dining experience ever! 128545 the ambiance was nice and stuff, the place was pretty huge but the service and the food...... Kaiyak na lang please.

Ordered chicken parmigiana, fetuccini carbonara, green curry chicken, chef's salad, spinach and cheese ravioli and parmesan truffle risotto. Service was weird and just bad. They had table settings right? Then when they got our order, they removed the other utensils that they thought weren't necessary for our orders.. Then gave us complementary bread and butter which they took away after serving the chef's salad!!!

Main course came after 30mins. Risotto was raw. They claimed that it was al dente but well.. It wasn't al dente. It was raw. So was the rice that came with the curry (which wasn't green and tasted like ginataang chicken lang). The pesto that came with the parmigiana was bland. The ravioli and the sauce was bland. And the chef's salad was drowning in a sweet vinaigrette that seemed like simple syrup. The carbonara was okay, and thank God it was okay. It's carbonara. But nothing special though.

My mom complained to the manager and they offered to deduct two of what we ordered from the total bill. Well, at least.. Sayang, expected pa naman that it was good since the buffet just looks good. Don't know if it tastes good though.

Cafe Eight is Crimson's very own restaurant. They offer ala carte and buffet.

Since we were looking around for great hotels for staycation, we decided to have a look at Crimson hotel.

We also ordered some light fare in this resto. A veggie baguette, I forgot the name. It's not tasty, the bread is too hard.

Not really a good light meal. The interior on the other hand is good. They have lots of different cuisines on their buffet. So I think you're better off with buffet than Ala Carte.

We went here for my daughter's birthday celebration. We went to try their dinner buffet, which cost 1,500 per head. Worth it? I guess not. Well for the place, i can't complain more, because it was huge and beautiful! But for the food, ugh. Waste of cash. 2 long rows selection for main course. (Which includes the carving station without anyone to assist you) and the ravioli which is overcooked. They had filipino dishes which consist of pork sinigang. (Seriously?) chicken adobo, adobong pusit, pork adobo, fish bistek, fried rice, etc. and yes, we just guessed the name of the food served since there was no label on it! They just indicated pork, chicken, fish, beef, (again, are they kidding me?) the japanese sushi station with the salad section is not also worth it. And the dessert station? Yes it was ok. The macaroons was okay. They also have the crepe station which has no chef available to assist you. Tsk. Very dissapointing.

None of the food was good, coffee was sour and cold, and they don't even know how to make tea (a waitress shoved the teabag In a pot if hot water then immediately poured into the cup; tasted like water of course!).

They can't even cook omelette right! Look at the photo, it's a monstrosity!

Had our easter family lunch here for the first time. Its a new buffet place, the appetizers were delicious, but the rest of the offerings were so-so. The pasta had no flavor, and the main course lacked variety. The ambiance was really nice though because the place was big and the view of the city is very clear. Overall, they need a lot to work on for P1,000 hotel buffet
