Their kimbap is always freshly made when you order. It was one of the best kimbaps Ive ever had. The taste was very flavorful. I also ordered cheese ramyun. Instant noodle with egg top with cheese which made the broth thicker and cremier.

Our fondest memory of this place was of the S'mores Dip my sister and I shared months ago. We decided to try their food one dinner.

On the table
Bulgogi Dupbap - lacked flavor
Chicken Dupbap - tasted better than the Chicken but not that great
Mandu Soup - light broth with dumplings but needed seasoning
S'mores Dip - so different from what we remembered. Extremely sweet and liquid.

After tasting the S'mores Dip we were quite disappointed. I don't think we'll be coming here for food anytime soon.

*there were several Koreans going in and out so i guess that must be a sign that the place is good. Maybe Korean food just isn't for us.
**quite sad that the menu photos looked so much better than the actual food

Nice little place around Emerald Ave. It's where I get my uncomplicated cheese ramyun after a long day at work 128144

This time we tried their Choco Bingsu! It looks like we're served with a volcano of chocolate that erupted with oreos as molten rock, and let's not forget that vanilla icing on top 128523 we got the family sized w/c is good for 4-5 persons. It's messy to eat though, specially when you're mixing it, but it tastes yummy! They also have rice meals now, I tried their spam and egg and loved it, the spam slices were so thick! Sulit! 128513 too bad their kimbap is not available at that time though 128546

I've come across this place while browsing cafes on Facebook, and even before I visited the place I loved it already!

If you're looking for a quiet place that has internet and good food, you can definitely choose Flafe.

My friend and I ordered a family sized Mango Bingsu (as seen on photo) and it's pure mango goodness! However, in my opinion, the nuts and the vanilla ice cream that comes with it doesn't really go with mango. :-(

But! We'll definitely go back to try the other flavors and hopefully their meals too (though a bit pricey)

First time here! One of the cozy cafes here in Ortigas! They have coffee, teas, smoothies, food and pastries and bingsus! We tried the mango bingsu w/c is pretty yummy! Nuts doesn't complement the mangoes tho, same goes with the vanilla icecream, it would've been yummier if 'twas mango icecream. But the whole experience was great! Kind and polite staffs too! Will definitely go back here to try the other bingsu flavors! 128523

I finally tried their bingsu, got the black sesame (flavour influenced by Jennifer N)! It was good, an equivalent of the famous pinoy halo-halo. I really liked the place. I needed my alone time since I've been working butt-off the whole week and Zia M didn't pushed through with our plan of meeting up (gumanti!). I badly needed a break from my chaotic, number crunching, nibbling, cracking, whatever lifestyle. Thank you, Chichi T for being my food directory (the reason I've known this place). I was able to read "The Nanny Diaries" quarter way. 128514

Right at the heart of Ortigas and housed in the same building as another hip cafe (Subspace). Cafe Flafe is a must-visit, especially if you're looking for some tambay time over great dessert and surrounded by light rustic interiors. The cafe is quaint. It will seat about 20 people at a time.

Order their Black Sesame Bingsu (P365) to share with at least 2 more friends (it's that big!). This Korean dessert is usually compared to the Pinoy Halohalo but this one takes the shaved ice dessert to a whole new level. It has shaved ice, milk, rice cake, almonds, dates, an ice scream scoop, and a whole lot of powdered sesame (which I love!). The different textures and flavors all come together to create an earthy, semi-sweet and refreshing dessert.

If you want something to eat besides dessert, they have Kimchi Risotto and pizza breads. Note that the owner is Korean so she makes sure all her ingredients are shipped from Korea, down to the fruits.

The sister introduced me to this cozy Korean flower shop and cafe. We marched in with one thing in mind - the S'mores Dip! 128525

Sinfully delicious and extremely sweet indulgence! A cute pink ramekin filled with warm (actually piping hot) fudgy brownies topped with a marshmallowy cloud, served with graham crackers.

They have an extensive drinks list but i was too full from dinner. The table next to us ordered the Bingsu (Korean halo halo) which was huge and meant to be shared.

Loved the interiors and all the small details. I bet the place looks even more charming during the day.

*seats about 20-25pax
**accessible via Ruby Road, across the GCF Church
*** you can enter through the building's main entrance along Emerald Ave./F. Ortigas Jr. Rd.

Hidden gem in Ortigas! 128525 Found this quaint Korean cafe/ flower shop. Thus the name, Cafe Flafe. The cafe is actually situated in the same building as subspace coffee shop. When I entered, the vibe felt like the coffee shops I've visited in Korea. 128525

This place even has a tree inside. I was unable to check if it was real though.128517 The interiors were simple but artsy (like most Korean coffee shops). They serve awesome Bingsu (Korean Halo-Halo. In a really big bowl or was it a cup?128517. Loolooers, check this place out!128077

Will try their coffee soon 128525
