Cafe IF is a Korean-inspired cafe specializing in shaved milk desserts, coffee, and tea. IF stands for Ice Flakes, so it is officially Cafe Ice Flakes. Our group really enjoyed the shaved milk desserts (take note, it is shaved crystallized milk that their machine makes).
We ordered the Injeolmi Milk Snow with a sticky, sweet treat and the Mango Milk Snow. For drinks, I had their hot green tea, which is very good.

Café IF is probably my favorite Bingsu Place surpassing my love for Seol Hwa. We’ve been seeing this café along President’s Ave. but we never had the chance to visit. Right after our Dinner date in Trattoria, we headed to Southern Dairy and we were disappointed with their gelato. Hubby knew he needed to take me elsewhere to forget about the bad experience in Southern Dairy. He then remembered Café IF.

Located in the second floor of a building, just beside Army Navy, the place, just like other Korean Bingsu stores, was huge! What set it apart through was their garden theme. Lots of faux vines and trees and the best part were the swing chairs! They were so comfy and gave the ultimate faux garden- alfresco feels. The place had a lot of tables, even long tables and high chairs. It’s an ideal place to chill or even study. They also have lots of outlets for charging.

Since I was on an Injeolmi trance, I got a regular order of their Injeolmi Bingsu. They used a ceramic bowl and their ice had the same shaved structure as that of Hobing. The Bingsu came with lots of roasted Soy Bean Powder AND lots of Injeolmi cubes! Injeolmi heaven! It also had lots of almond slices! Layers of ice filled with more powder and rice cake cubes greeted me as I took one spoonful after another. What I liked the most here was the bottle of sweetened milk that’s served with the Bingsu. You’ll be able to add sweetness and milk according to your preference.

This is by far the best Bingsu experience for me. I’m gonna take my kids here soon!

There’s just something these milky shaved ice treats that keep bringing us back. We usually order the strawberry bingsu, because we’re just NUTS about strawberry. 127827 However, Cafe If’s Strawberry Bingsu have been downgraded into a pile of shaved strawberry flakes and not whole strawberries. 128542127847

Because of this, we decided to try their Injeolmi Bingsu. It’s their best seller but I wasn’t such a big fan of it. Probably had a few bites, and made MC finish the rest. The glutinous rice balls were pretty tasteless and they overpowered the entire bowl. I did love the roasted soy bean powder though. 128566

I wished they’d bring back the usual way they served their strawberry bingsu. It was truly the best. This whole shaved strawberry flakes business is meh. 128530

As promised, after x number of times of visiting this place, i was finally able to try their Bingsu! Made sure I didn't forget this time around or else i'd be sulking throughout the weekend.

Actually, I was a bit surprised with what I got. Go back a few reviews and check Donna K.'s picture. Comparing the two pictures, my strawberries were "shredded" while her picture shows sliced strawberries. Same taste, for sure, but different texture. It's so satisfying to get your first spoonful of the "snow ice" expecting it to be hard, but in reality it was soft. To be honest, i was a bit disappointed. Felt there was not enough strawberries in the bingsu. My ratio of spoonfuls of strawberry shreds to spoonfuls snow ice was quite low, a little bit less than satisfactory. But still, tasted good. :)

I've been raving about the look and feel of this place in my past reviews. No change there, so that's good. :) Oh by the way, my loyalty card has one drink to go before i can claim my free americano! yehey! you can request for a card whenever you buy a drink.

That's it for now. Take care everyone! Happy weekend.

This is my nth visit and silly me, i once again ate dinner right before going here. Oh will power, where art thou? So consequently, was pretty full when i arrived and had no space for bingsu! :( okay, first things first, i promise to the community that the next time i'll visit Cafe If, i'll be ordering and finally tasting their bingsu, which people have been raving about. Which flavor? We'll see!

Anyway, ordered caffe mocha for 130 pesos. Found it heavy and very filling (which is awesome!). Gave me the right coffee fix i needed to work on my project, craysee. Stayed there until 11:30 pm. The usual. Place was more packed than usual but still very quiet.

Staff! Let me commend the staff. I had a 3pronged plug for my laptop charger, but their sockets were not compatible. Given this, i requested for an extension cord so that i could plug-in. Unfortunately, the extension cord they gave me was not compatible as well. So i informed the staff and they gladly, take note of this, unplugged their appliances which were plugged to a compatible extension cord and then gave the cord to me. Thank you very much! I recognize the effort and the care. Hahaha

Anyway, that's it for now. Just wait for my bingsu review after i visit them again. Expect that review within the week. 128541 atat. Haha

Take care everyone and stay mahusay!

The chillest cafe in BF Homes imo. Interior is on point & very relaxing. Bingsus are good (but u have to pour condensed milk to add flavor/sweetness). Limited choices of bingsus but AWESOME PLACE! 128076

If you are living or heading south and looking for a place to feel the Korean vibe or just have a quiet and cool place to hang out and relax, Cafe IF is definitely the place for you. This unassuming place offers one of the best Bingsu in the South. Their Injeolmi Bingsu is a bestseller with its finely shaved ice, Korean rice cake, almond slices and condensed milk.
Bingsu is definitely setting up a trend in the Philippines and Cafe IF is doing justice to the craze ;-)

Back for more of that delicious korean snow flakes. For me this is the ideal place for relaxing or studying. Great wifi, great ambience, generous power outlet, quiet and relaxing interior. The best part the Injeomi bingsu was 128077128077. A great alternative from mainstream coffee shops..128521

I love this place! Ambiance is perfect for studying. Very quiet, seldom packed especially on weekdays. Music is not so loud and the lighting is not too bright. Quiet cafe with a very polite owner and very friendly servers :)

I always order the shakerato and the caramel macchiato. Their yogurt drinks are also very good. Haven't tried their bingsu. Been here several times but i'm reserving their bingsu for a special day. Haha

Okay, i have to be honest. A gym was recently opened on the floor above cafe if which led to "background noises" of dumbells or barbells being dropped. But it's not cafe if's fault.

Anyway, outside of that flaw this place is perfect for me! :) try it out! Oh and they also have this coupon wherein if you buy 10 drinks you get a free americano. What a promo! :) awesome!

Go visit! Mahusay ito! Take care everyone!

Maverick Christopher P and I needed to kill time before service so we ended up eating snacks here.

It was just on a whim to be honest and we really didn't know what to expect. But we were satisfied that's for sure!

Their best seller is the milk snow with almonds but I can't really have that coz of allergies so we ordered the strawberry one instead. And I did make the right decision in ordering just one coz I wouldn't be able to finish the whole thing. Coz their serving was humongous!

And if you think the strawberries are just on top, nope! You're wrong! They even placed whole sweet strawberries on the inside. Ahhh yes, our long-time Baguio strawberry craving was finally satisfied. 10084️ The whole milk snow concept is nice, I'd definitely choose this place over Rita's rip-off any day.

We also got their chocolate waffle, and it was really good! Let's just say our sweet-tooth cravings were satisfied. Maverick Christopher P got so hyper after this sugar rush. Haha!

The place was so nice too! They had booth seats, swing seats and others. It was spacious and well-lit. Couldn't complain. Definitely a good place to hangout in.

Its 2nd floor location obscures the hidden treasures inside. Looking small and tight outside, we were surprised by a wide, spacious yet cozy dining area inside. Orders were taken directly and paid immediately at the counter with no fuss at all. We settled on the Injeolmi and Mango Snow. I must admit I am amazed at how fine the ice shaving is for these Korean Bingsus.

Equally amazing is the Injeolmi. The main ingredients are small chewable bite sized mochis and milk powder. Something like espasol mixed with Nido, I would say its an acquired taste. The ice does not freeze the mochi and in fact adds freshness into the whole concoction. Very pleasant indeed.

AJ found a comfortable corner and in 2 minutes flat gave his approval! Looks like we have a new "go to" place for peace and quiet with good coffee and bingsu! 128516

You almost wouldn't notice 'Cafe If' since its hidden on the 2nd floor of a corner building. But once you enter, the first thing you'd notice is the cool ambience. I honestly didn't expect to walk into the set of a typical Korean telenovela autumn cafe. 128517 There are swing chairs around that not only add to the overall design concept but are also comfy for leaning back and reading something.

They make great bingsu too! The servings are quite large and good to share. The ice is so soft and fine, it melts in your mouth. Though the flavors aren't as fancy and creative as Seolhwa, i'd still recommend their injeolmi and strawberry bingsu's. 128077

A new bingsu cafe this time inside bf homes paranaque. This is perfect since there is a lot of koreans in the area. The cafe is named Cafe IF or Cafe Ice Flakes. It is located on the 2nd flr of Rufos and Persian Grill. Upon entering the place you will immediately be wowed by the cuteness of the place. The two hanging chair are eye capturing plus the green leave vine designed everywhere are very korean. The place is a very good place to chill and they have a very generous amount of power outlet available for your gadgets. The menu are quite hard to understand because some pages are in korean characters but we went for the iljeomi milk bingsu as recommended by the barrista. The bingsu tasted good. The ice are very fine and the milk powder was delicious. The chewy mochi was also delicious. Hope they could more choices in their bingsu menu for us to try next time. For sure this place will soon be one of the most visited place here in BF Homes with the nice interior it has and great bingsu that they serve.128518

Another bingsu place! They're sprouting like mushrooms! 128513
You can find this cafe on the 2/F of GLT bldg where Persia grill is. The first thing I noticed were the interiors, I felt like I was walking into a koreanovela! Wood accents, greens and comfy seats. A lot of books and corners where you can really hole up and kill time if you want to.
Ordered the mango bingsu (again, for a fair comparison). They were still on soft opening so service took a while. Btw, the place was full of locals. Kme and foreigner! 128540
Order came and it was a bit bigger than ice flower's solo serving. Noticed though that they put fruit cocktail on top 128517 why??!
I'd say that this is the 'milkiest' bingsu I've tried. The place was a bit warm so the ice melted quickly.
Good place to hang out, strong wifi but maybe I'll try a sandwich next time 128522

Annyeonghaseyo!!!!

Do you want to get lost in Manila and trip yourself into pretending you're back at one of Seoul's many, many cool cafe's!? Head on here.

The place was packed with Korean students. We totally felt like we were the foreigners. Haha

Anyway, they offer coffee, teas, milk snow (bing su) and some pastries. My friend tried their coffee but don't know how it was. As for me, I had the grapefruit tea which was like grapefruit juice heated. Didn't taste like brewed tea at all. It was so sweet I couldn't sip another a couple. Then ordered some muffins and pound cake. I think those were store bought and sort of stale. It was so dry already. As for the milky snow. We had the red bean and it was covered with condensed milk and injeolmi powder. That was good but they didn't add some more red bean inside which was what we expected. Maybe we'll just ask for some more next time. One order can be shared by three :)

I guess it's a good place to hang-out since it's sort of huge compared to other cafe's at BF and the Interior is cool too :)
