I didnt want to eat here before because I thought this hotel was kind of old, unappealing and nothing new to offer. But the metrodeal offer was hard to resist and so there I was one weekend lunch just recently.

Cafe in the Park is the hotel's all day dining place, spacious with signs of aging in some corners. But this was offset by the delicious spread of food in this buffet mainly Pinoy fare and some asian food too. The buffet came with unlimited iced tea. Service was A ok and food was refilled on time. Food spread was not overwhelming in quantity but delicious, I would love to dine here again. Tip: Look for the litson kawali here.

Everything has silver linings. Upon the cancellation of our flight to Tagbilaran due to air traffic, this was THE silver lining! Great food. Will definitely come back here soon :)

Not bad though not great in terms of flavor and choices. Overpriced. The best part is the friendly and attentive staff.

The place I liked most in the hotel...

Lots of choices for breakfast... Extensive bread station, various fruits and cereals to choose from... Didn't quite appreciate the viands, I thiught they were more suited for lunch than breakfast... The pancakes were a bit dry and the bacon was fatty and not crunchy... They have limited cheeses available... But I very much enjoyed their taho station...

Had to order ala carte since we were too early for the buffet (which I love by the way, specially their breakfast buffet) and it did not disappoint!

Try their pancit canton and sausage with potato salad - definite hits!

Booked ourselves a room upstairs and got complimentary tickets for the buffet at cafe in the park. The food was great for a free breakfast buffet, there were a lot of choices from different cuisines, and the selection of fresh fruits were plenty! I loves the fresh mangoes, dole bananas and canned peaches. I wasn't really impressed with the staff though, they weren't very accomodating due to so many guest at that time.

Availed of a free GC for two in Cafe in the Park. I don't know how much it normally is but since it was the last day of the GC my wife and I availed it.

The hotel has seen better days. It's been there a long time, and though I can tell it's been renovated, there's still an old feel there.

The Cafe itself is a section of the main lobby. There was a huge variety of food but the one thing that stood out is the prime rib photographed and posted here. It was very good. Yummmmmy 128523

The buffet was complete from appetizer to dessert but nothing else stood out.

Would I come back here? Probably not. There are so much more places to try. And if I'm going to spend on hotel type buffet, well there are other hotels and there are the likes of Viking, Buffet 101, etc.

Dinner buffet is php1,215. Pretty decent Japanese section- tempura and sushi. Appetizers had good selection of sausages and it is enough to fill your tummy. Too bad there is no appetizer buffet. Main course offerings are not too intimidating and you can actually enjoy the variety. Bought a to-go century burger for php380++- this one looked like a mcdo quarter pounder
