Cafe lawis is located at the side of Dauis church, it was said that this place was an old convent and was later converted into a cafe, its has a vintage feel with oil lamps on each table and the lighting was quite dim, around the cafe are religious artifacts, you can look around and take a photo pf them but you're not allowed to touch them9757️. We tried theor tsokolate eh souffle, a souffle made with choco tablea served with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream with cherry compote on top and a shot glass of choco tablea dip, the souffle was very light and moist and chocolatey, its hot temp combined with the cold and creaminess of the vanilla ice cream is so heavenly you'd crave for more, we also tried their halo halo, it was different from the traditional halo halo, it has no legumes or even kaong, it has mango instead so its more of a tropical dessert.

I recommend trying their tsokolate eh souffle or even their ubi souffle together with a hot cup of coffee.

For the chocolate lovers out there try their home made almond orange mint chocolate, its really good 128077

A colleague and a great friend invited us to attend her wedding in Bohol since she's a boholana.

The foodie in me was itching to sample some of Bohol's goodness and it brought me to this place.

It was the day before the wedding so definitely I still have ample time to explore the place. Accompanied by foodie friends as well, we chose this place because the area is both historic and nature friendly - historic because it is beside one of Bohol's oldest church and nature friendly because you may opt to dine al fresco close to the shores.

Carbonara and spaghetti with grilled sandwich were ok. The halo-halo & tsokolate soufflé were oh so yummy. Or perhaps I was just a lost glutton looking for a place to satisfy my sweet tooth. Hahaha.

Great place for chitchats, family gathering and more. And they have a pocket-friendly menu. I just loved the place.

Nice place to relax when you want to take a break from your countryside tour. Lol.

Ambiance is homey and rustic. The Tangad drink is sooooo refreshing. :)

Halo halo is so-so though.
