All of favorites: grilled chicken salad, herb and tomato pasta and heir signature black velvet cake for P420+? Count me in! This explains why its such a rare find to get a free table for 4 during lunch time. Also, its the first time I've tried their Cassava chips with sour cream. This is the 'softest melts in your mouth but still crunchy' chips I've ever had. Coupled by the saltiness of the sour cream, yum. Sure justifies that mouthful of a review.

Definitely one of my top choices to eat in whenever am in Global. Only issue would be their cramped space and limited seating, which is understandable given the floor area of their stall. 6 tables with 4 seats each, good luck finding a seat during peak hours especially since the global branch is gaining traction.

I was with my parents and so I decided to try something new. I usually just order tomato and herb or cream dory pasta. I tried their vongole and got an iced mocha as well.

One thing I can say about their is that they are very generous with their clams. :) pasta was prepared well and was really good. Serving size was just right. Iced mocha was sinful! I forgot to tell the waiter to hold the whipped cream. Oh well! Next time haha

One more thing looloo, i was there at 7:30 pm and they were still open. So I think you need to adjust their store hours under the details.

That's it for now. Take care everyone!

It's always fun to eat at this cozy cafe where you enjoy the company of family and friends with good food. For a cafe, they not only offer yummy cakes but their main meals are also a must try! Make sure you get to the cafe before break time because you'll have to wait a while once all the seats are already taken.

Full house with limited seating.
Ordered Vongolę to go if no seat for one but will first drop by neighboring security bank and pick it up or be seated later...
On returning there was a reserved table for me and my lunchbreak in between surgeries was just great!
Back to work with a grin

Quick lunch with my mom before my check-up few weeks ago. We always end up at Cafe Mary Grace (or sometimes Via Mare) everytime we are at St. Luke's BGC. We've been wanting to try the other restos, but their food doesn't look appealing kasi. 128517

I had to pick something healthy so I ordered the Grilled Vegetable Sandwich. Grilled eggplant, zucchini and mushrooms sandwiched between herbed ciabatta. It was okay... Hmmm filling enough. I would have wanted it with grilled chicken so it won't be too plain (Eh veggie sandwich nga diba?128529) or without the eggplant. I liked their soft-even-if-slightly-toasted ciabatta though. I can't eat the chips but my mom seemed to enjoy it.

Mom had their Spaghetti with Meatballs. It looked delicious. Generous portions too! Would love try that next time since I love almost all the pasta dishes that I've tried here. 127837

Service was ok and surprisingly fast even if this place is always full. I just don't like that the tables are too near each other, you can already hear the conversation of the people occupying the next table.128066🏽

Went to St. Luke's for a check-up with my cardiologist last week. She ordered to have tests done but since I'm already starving, I asked mom if we can have lunch first before proceeding with the tests. It was already 1:30pm and most restos were still full. I was craving for pasta and we luckily found a table for two in Cafe Mary Grace.

Mom had the chicken inasal rice plate. Instead of a quarter cut chicken, they use chicken fillets marinated and cooked the Ilonggo way. I guess it was good since mom finished it quick, or probably because she was as hungry as me. A bit pricey for the serving size.

I opted for the Vongole but requested for fusilli instead of spaghetti. It was good!! 128076🏼 Light, fresh, and garlicky! The colorful noodles make the dish look very enticing to eat too. Yumm.

-1 for the service though. Took them 30 minutes to serve our food. 128529

Mary Grace's Seafood Pasta, how do I even begin to describe Mary Grace's Seafood Pasta? It is an olive oil-based pasta filled with clams, olives, and tomatoes, sprinkled with parmesan on top, served with a slice of buttered french bread. Let's not forget the handsome plate the dish is served with, it's so nautical! Fit for seafood.

Thumbs up for the salmon pasta! I wish they'll add more salmon bits next time 128513

My order came in a bit late because the service crew (I think) forgot my order.. so I have to follow it up and wait for another 15-20 mins. 128542

For 395 pesos, pasta, salad and a slice of cake is a pretty good deal !

I had the chorizo plate, which consisted of chorizo & green olive pasta and local greens w/ chili daing dressing & crunchy garlic plus a slice of the cake of the day.

However, I did not like the chorizo plate. The flavors did not go together well. They were all overpowering. I did not like how the pasta and the salad dressing were both oil-based. All I could taste after my meal was oil and garlic. >:c

I had the Limone Santi for dessert. I can get picky with lemon based cakes because they happen to be my favorite kind of cakes. 127819 Damn lemon cake of Mary Grace is damn good 127819 I'm so happy it stumbled upon my life huhuhu so delicious.

Overall, I'm happy with the food and service. Price-wise, sulit. Lemon cake won me over so four stars for Mary Grace today. 128150

Cafe Mary Grace is our go-to-place whenever we are in St Lukes Global City, which at a minimun, monthly.

Our favorites, which we order all the time, are as follows:

Grilled Kesong Puti with bread - grilled kesong puti dip with 6-8 pcs of bread as starters. Good for 3-4 pax. The dip tastes garlicky, which others may not like (perfect example - my husband). I personally appreciate its taste though...

Summer Squash Soup - my daughter's favorite. Very tasty,it is thick in consistency, but not because of too much cream or milk, but because of the squash (meaning its mostly pureed squash)...Only downside is it can be quite messy to eat.

Fried Kesong Puti and Calamansi Vinaigrette Salad - simple yet filling. My go-to salad when Im not that hungry and I just want to munch on something. The fried kesong puti balls are a good twist to the classic vinaigrette dressing.

Prawn Salad with Mango Papaya Vinaigrette Salad - my ULTIMATE favorite salad to date. The greens plus prawns plus the mango balls and papaya balls with the classic vinaigrette dressing is refreshing.

Classic Carbonara Pasta - rich and creamy carbonara with loads of bacon and mushrooms. The husband and daughter both love this dish. You may think the serving is only good for 1 person, but this is very heavy on the stomach. My suggestion - this is best for sharing.

Grilled Ensaymada - Yep, the Mary Grace ensaymada can be served grilled. Soft, sweet, with loads of cheese, what more can I ask for?

This place is always full. Serving size is okay for the price, sometimes can even be good for sharing. Waiters are attentive and polite, but service may be a bit slow as sometimes there are only 1-2 waiters even if they are really full.

I consider this place a comfort food place. The food makes me feel warm, cozy and homey.

When I was still pregnant, Cafe Mary Grace in St. Luke's Global was always my after OB check-up go-to place because back then, I craved for sweets (especially during my third trimester) 127856127846127850

I've tried all their soup and they taste good, most of their pasta (their carbonara is pictured here) are kinda good--it's usually a hit or miss. Their cakes though are real good and I'm not even fond of sweets. Special fave is their Black Velvet Cake and Triple Chocolate Cake. My husband loves their Tiramisu.

One other thing I always, always buy... their cheese rolls!

Their peach iced tea is a fave too.

So, why only 3 stars? They lack consistency in the taste. While most of the time, I enjoy eating here... the food does not always taste good.

But hey, will still be eating here! 127874

Aside from their super yummy cheese rolls and Truffle cake, I absolutely love their Leek and Saffron plate with Summer Squash soup and Peach Iced Tea. Will definitely come back and try out more from their menu.

I've been sick on and off the past couple of months from exhaustion chasing a toddler128118 127939. So this visit to Cafe Mary Grace in St. Luke's Global City was a little treat for me after seeing an ENT doctor. I have cough and colds. 128554128555

I normally order the grilled ensaimada with hot chocolate, but since my throat is begging off the hot chocolate, I ordered their chocolate mousse cake slice instead. Its still chocolate but at least it's smooth and not as rich.

Well, I get what I paid for. At P85 per slice, it was a forgettable cake experience.

Stick to the ensaymadas, people! It may be considered cheap, with cakes ranging from P100-130 per slice, but It's not worth the calories.
