I fell in love!
This one is different from the rest. I thought i was getting something normal, but no. It hit me right on the spot. My tastebuds were excited, it really fulfilled my afternoon. None compares with this.

128204128525 lemon santi
One slice costs 130. The slice is considerably bigger than your ordinary slice of cake at ordinary cafes. It got three layers
The whip cream- this whip cream is not really tasteless and airy. It's quite dense (cause it's kinda frozen) and sweet.
Lemon curd- tangy. Its texture is like frozen ice cream already. See the icicles?
Graham crust- thin sweet crust. Compacted.
In totality, the light sweet cream and light sour curd really blended well. How can this be unlovable?!

The service was quite slow though. I was able to make a review pa while waiting for them to hand me the menu. Eh i would only order a slice of this cake. The sofas were comfortable though so okay narin. The ambiance is not so serene because it is situated at the mall open. Still very tito-titaish because of the table and sofa decors. This is a good stay place while waiting for your movie. 128538128538

PS i like the place but i love the food.

So I think its been a while since Mary Grace replaced Twininngs here. I missed their amazing tinapa pasta and ensaymada and suggested we eat here.

My friends had pizza, punpkin soup, longganisa and chilen inasal. They were all a 128077🏻

Have you heard of the word Masturdating? Well, it is a word believe or not. 128516 Noun. Meaning going out alone to a movie or restaurant.

That is what I did exactly on the 9th of January 2016. It was supposedly a date with a girl friend but she bailed out on the last minute. Just so you know it was a liberating experience just to dine out with yourself and read a book.

So yes, i picked out my fave cafe. I tried their Coffee Latte and Fried Kesong puti & Calamansi vinaigrett. I paid overall 407.39. Not bad for my first date of myself. 128517

I enjoyed the food to be honest. It made me full and let me read a lot in my book. I forgot what time it is until I realized that the mall was already closing.

The cafe is located at the middle of the 1st level of the mall. And it is under the beautiful decorations of the mall ceilings. The table i choose has a very comforting sofa and i feel just right at home having a good book and a coffee.

The staff are of course warm and very accommodating to all of your request. It never fails me to appreciate every moment I spend in their cafe.

Right after dinner at Yumi, we decided to look for a dessert place. I originally suggested Le Petit but they weren't that much of a matcha fan. 128530 So to accommodate everyone, we picked Mary Grace. Was supposed to get my favorite, Mango Bene but it wasn't available which made way for me to try something else, the Limone Santi Cheesecake (not sure w the name) which was surprisingly good. I'm starting to enjoy citrusy tangy desserts now. 128513128513 We also tried the Chocolate Mousse cake. They were good but since both cakes are ice cream based, it was a struggle trying to eat them when you're drinking hot tea or coffee. Mejj hassle sa ngipin. 128518128546 But both were really good. Not too sweet and really rich and creamy! 128513

Service was good and all servers are nice, helpful, and very attentive. 128079🏼

Cafe Mary Grace's Strawberry Shortcake deserves a separate review.  This is one of the best cakes I've tasted in a while.

Aesthetically speaking the cake exudes quiet elegance.  White icing,  strawberries on top.  The taste is the exact opposite,  bursting with flavors,  a party in your mouth.  The chiffon cake is moist,  each layer is divided by a fresh slices of berries and creamy custard.  The white icing is not overly sweet and adds texture to the moist chiffon cake.

Strawberry Shortcake,  where have you been all my life?

Classic Carbonara ala Mary Grace is still the best carbonara for me.  Creamy and oozing with flavors.  Don't fret,  the creamy texture is not umay-inducing,  this in fact makes the dish stand out.  Al dente noodles,  creamy white sauce,  bacon bits,  herbs and spices.

A meal at Café Mary Grace is always satisfying and reminds you of home.

To me, Cafe Mary Grace has always been synonymous to the heavenly melt-in-your-mouth cheese rolls for which they are known for. Recently, however, I gave their menu a try and while the experience didn't bring me to cloud nine as the cheese rolls do, it was another amazing thing entirely.

Cafe Mary Grace felt like home.

We sat at a cozy corner with wood panels and warm lights. The friendly glow of the candle illuminated a table with bits and pieces of heartwarming letters and art - a reminder of other customers' good memories at the place. A waitress approached us and with a smile assisted us with our order. No rush and no biases...she helped us choose our food with the cordiality of family. As we waited, soft tunes floated in the background to a conversation filled with laughter and good thoughts.

Our orders of Leek and Saffron with Cream Dory Fillet Pasta and Tomato and Herb Plate arrived. The delicate taste of leek, saffron, and cream combined to offer what was a highly comforting dish that transported me to Christmases with my sister. The Fresh Tomato and Herb pasta did what tomato pastas always do: satisfy with a flavorful indulgence. The sweetness and sourness of the Limone Santi played a divine dance in our buds, making the frozen treat the perfect ender to a wonderful meal.

We left with the happiness of a good night spent at home, two slices of cheese rolls, and the thought of coming back soon.

Café Mary Grace is one of the few restaurants where you can never go wrong with ordering anything off the menu. Everything that comes out of their kitchen always turns out yummy like this Amatriciana with meatballs here. Cheers to good food!
