Since its only a few days left till Christmas I treated my two assistants to some dinner at this place last Friday. We got a table at the back end of the restaurant. I actually love that area of the resto. Its so cozy and private. Its ideal for meetings and serious conversations.

We ordered two pastas - the Classic Carbonara and the Amatriciana with Meatballs. We also ordered the Parma Ham with Arugula Pizza and for our appetizer the bread with cheddar cheese and tomato pesto dip.

When the appetizer arrived we weren't able to dig into it immediately and the cheese cooled and became sticky. We should have eaten it immediately while it was hot. Anyway. It was still good and the bread was perfect for it and plentiful.

The Carbonara was my favorite. I loved the bacon bits and mushroom it had. The Amatriciana with meatballs was also good but the Carbonara was the clear favorite of everybody.

The Parma Ham with Arugula Pizza, which I have tried before, was heavenly with the Arugula giving the pizza a very complementing flavor.

Although our meal was carbo-loading of sorts we were very much pleased. My two female assistants and I were not able to finish everything since we were already full. We still got to take a few slices of the pizza and the leftover of the Amatriciana pasta home.

I always buy cakes and cheese roll here but never really tried dining in here so I finally tried it. We ordered the following:

Italian Sausage Pizza P498 - I liked their pizza because of its thin crust. The toppings is very generous.

Classic Carbonara P315 - creamy and good carbonara.

Service is really good and the ambience is great.

Relaxing place. Beautiful and cozy decor. If I would put up a coffeeshop of my own this would be my model. Service is good and the food is delish. Used to frequent this place a lot until many people discovered it. Now its almost always full and I can't get a table.

Soooooo cozy and sosyal 128513128536

I'm a seasonal customer of their cakes but this is the first time that I'm going to dine in.

The place, quite small but keri naman. Not that cramped and messy. It's small but homey. You'll love their hand written notes in your table (under the glass), the Christmas lights (only one color), the candles, and other cute trinkets you'll find in the resto.

Their pasta has a variation, it comes in Cream based, Olive oil based, and Tomato based. Mine was Olive oil based and it's, Spanish sardines and Olives Pasta. I say, it's a really generous serving. Sa takaw ko na ito, I never will expect that I'll be so full with a pasta dish. It's REALLY GOOD! I'm a fan of sardines kaya sya yung in-order ko. Spicy, not that saucy, with herbs and chunks of sardines. For me t'was heaven! 128519128519128519 Saraaaaap!

Aside from salads, breakfast variations and hearty soups, they also have pastries in their menu.

Their ensaymada and cheese rolls are fluffy and true to their flavor. While the cakes have slices, mini and whole versions. I like the mini me versions of the cake, its like 4" diam. I send it as gifts and it's handy to carry AND it's really cute tignan 128513128513128513

The service is okay. When you get to your table, the waiter/waitress is going to introduce his/her name, the service guidelines and how long you're going to wait. They're really really friendly.

Verdict: Price is really WORTH IT! Just good vibes waiting for you 128077🏻

How am I supposed not to love this restaurant? From their ensaymadas to their cheese breads to everything that falls in between, everything is so delicious and hearty!

Cafe Mary Grace is that place where you can feel at peace while savoring their palatable dishes! Prices are a bit high but with their big servings, everything is just worth it.

Seafood Chowder is really something that can get your appetite on. Makes your stomach warm and makes you want to get more food. The soup was delicious with shrimp and mushroom bits.

For my main course, I ordered Classic Carbonara. Into pastas these days and this proves to be why carbonaras are always the get go pasta dish if you want to be really stuffed. The cream sauce is thick and milky. There is also a generous amount of bacon and chicken bits in it, plus my favorite - mushrooms! Just can't get enough of it.

My friend ordered their Moroccan Grilled Chicken in Cous Cous (whatever that is). Simply put, it was grilled chicken with asparagus topped on a sticky rice. Or so we thought. That sticky rice wasn't rice at all! It was that Cous Cous stuff right there and based on Google (yeah I really did), it was a North African stew where you top other food on it - here it's grilled chicken. It also has tomato sauce in it. It was delicious too, sticky yet tasty. As per my friend, it was really stuffing.

The tables of Cafe Mary Grace in Gateway plus the mood lighting adds to the perfection of service, plating and picture taking of their dishes. 5 and more stars to this place!

This place deserves more than 5 start rate. Everything is chic and yet simple. The pasta is really well done, and the filipino tapa dish is delicious. I love how they cook the pasta and egg. It's perfect. The cakes here are worth it. The service is satisfying.

My all time favorite! I ordered their Summer Squash soup and Vigan Longganisa with Kesong Puti for breakfast. The soup was creamy as usual and I super loved it. The saltiness of the longganisa matched the light creamy taste of the kesong puti. Their Apple Cinnamon Iced Tea really quenched my thirst on a sunny Saturday morning.

It's a little pricey but worth it. I can have the same meal over and over and over and still crave for it in the future. It just makes me happy! :)

The staffs are efficient and friendly. I had no problem placing my order. 128522

Ambiance: 128078 (It was a little hot, given they have industrial fans to help the A/C cool the place)

Tthis is the first time I tried the White Velvet because I always order Chocolate Truffle. I just wanted to try it out and see if the taste is okay as the red velvet cakes.

I always eat dessert together with my main meal, I know weird but that's how I like it. The taste is just fine it's bit strange for me not to taste the usual red velvet taste but I'm glad I tried this flavor. It's not that sweet as expected from Mary Grace's cakes and I finished this cake all bu myself.

I am looking forward on tasting the other cakes of Mary Grace that I haven't tried.

I cannot believe that I haven't tried these all day breakfast of Mary Grace. I love vigan longanissa and sunny side up egg so this meal is like opening Pandoras Box.

I can really tell that the longanissa is aunthetic plus the vinegar, with a bit of spiciness in it. There are two eggs and ofcourse the fried rice. I super loved this meal, this will be my favourite meal here in Mary Grace and I can definitely eat this all day long.

For the price of 335 pesos yes it's pricey but for me a good food is never expensive as long as I am satisfied with the taste.
