Mary Grace and I

Ok lets make this easy and straight forward since Mary Grace is already a staple name in Manila restaurant scene,

* Local Green with Chili Daing Dressing and Crunchy Garlic, is a must for me the hint taste of smoked fish is well complemented with right amount of chili oil, and we are all suckers with crunchy sensation on our cavity, so it’s a huge YESSSSSS that crunchy garlic flakes topped the salad, for me this had a very pinoy touch. PS Im not a huge fan of salads simply because the ones I like can’t be possibly that delicious, but this is worth a try

* Parma Ham and Arugula pizza, this is a not so good pizza for me, let’s just say this is filling but not satisfying, please it’s not that bad as what you think, just happen I am missing for something that would makes me happy, this pizza is perfectly cooked and provided the perfect amount of ham and arugula, for short there is no wrong about it, just happen it doesn’t give me that flavor to suppress my cravings for pizza

* The cheese roll does not fall far from the taste and texture of their famous enseymada, it has that light and airy texture, coated with glimmering sugar crystals atop roll. Best eaten when perfectly grilled, the melt-in-your mouth texture simply oozes me to order for more and tempted to order a cup of tea.

Missed this place so much that when Mommy and I had lunch one time, we went straight here. Mary Grace will always hold a special place in our hearts and tummies.

Usually, mommy would order the Spanish Sardines pasta (her favorite) and I would order a salad, either the Mary Grace Salad or the one with Fried Kesong Puti. But for a change, we decided to order something else.

Mommy tried the Meatballs Spaghetti while I ordered just the plain salad -- Local Greens and requested for the balsamic vinaigrette instead of the dilis something dressing. The pasta was surprisingly good, it was meaty and not too sour. 128077🏼 The salad was good, generous serving of fresh greens with a light and refreshing dressing! Sarap! 128513

Since I was also craving for eggs (which is ALL THE TIME! 128517), I ordered one (side order of 2 sunny side up eggs).

Service was not really fast since our orders arrived after around 15 minutes. But still, the servers were nice and very warm. 128076🏼

Cheese cake is always a must whenever I visit Cafe Mary Grace. I like its velvety and smooth texture .Sweetness is just right as well. Paired with their Valencia Cappuccino, it feels like I am being drifted away. This my go to comfort food 10084

Haayyy. Btw, stick to their pastas.

Strawberry Shortcake. 220 Pesos. Cake and cream were both light and not too sweet. Wish it had more strawberries in between the layers. Tasted very similar to a Japanese strawberry shortcake / Christmas cake. 4.5127775

One of our favorite chocolate cakes is this restaurant's Black Velvet for 120. Very chocolate-y and we love the cream cheese frosting. Alas, it has less frosting now than when they first brought it out. 4127775.

Dined in on a Friday, around 230 PM, it was almost full but we were able to get a table quickly. Glad they didn't have chirping birds here.

Love this place! Good ambiance and lighting at night. :)

Got the prawn salad with mango and papaya vinaigrette. It was good and the serving size is good for 2.

Next was the Spanish sardines and olives pasta. At first, i thought my gf got 2 orders cause we had our own plates with a decent amount of pasta, but it was actually just one order split into two. Super sulit and i really loved it!

At the end our dinner, I wasn't really full or still hungry. I was just satisfied. 128077🏼

Your visit won't be complete if you don't order their grilled ensaymada and hot chocolate.

Make sure to dip the ensaymada before you eat it.

Mary Grace Mushroom Cream is very good, but steeply priced, in my opinion. What I love about this branch is that they're very accomodating to pets! I asked them for a plastic bowl so my puppy, Hedwig, can drink, and they offered me their petbowl. They even asked if I wanted tap or cold water for Hedwig. Haha! Thanks guys, that was so thoughtful128522

Viscosity level: 100. I've known pools of quick sand that were less viscous than this recent tsok nut hot chocolate that I recently had.

To make things worse, I told the staff about the problem and they responded by watering it down so much that I could see the hot chocolate particles floating in the hot water after.

Just like the air conditioner that is either too hot or too cold, I guess there are some things in life we are never meant to fix :)

Reviewer's note: Mary Grace always has good service so I am not even faulting them for this one incident. Maybe we can blame it on the weather. Perhaps the cold December air made everything stick together like an ungodly drying up lump of Elmer's glue. It still tasted good though. #12days

If you'd like a chill place and a great ambience cafe mary grace is the place to be. I've been eyeing this resto but never got any chance until i got to catch up with my friends after a sunday service. Interior is really nice and homey however the place is a bit small. The place isvery instagramworthy. I like that the concept on their tables. I got carbanora, its soo delish as well as the garlic bread that came with it. The serving is big too. My friends ordered rice with bangus buti never got too try it. For dessert we ordered brownie ala mode, and its a great way to end our meal.

Had a catch up with one of my friends after working out. We decided to meet at Cafe Mary Grace for some light meals since my friend also has some errands at night.

We had Lemon Square, Brownies and Iced Chocolate while my friend had Iced Cappuccino. Everything was good especially the lemon square. My friend liked the Cappuccino and told me that it's her all-time favorite drink from Mary Grace. Iced chocolate is good too, it has a fair amount of sweetness in my opinion.

The place is cozy and perfect for catching up with friends or maybe some romantic dinner date due to its interior and warm ambiance.

Cafe Mary Grace = comfort food! I had a bit of a sh*tty day so I was happy when my friend suggested Cafe Mary Grace for dinner. I knew exactly what I wanted to order - the carbonara.

The carbonara here is one of my favourite carbonaras ever. It's not gourmet, but it's hearty and homey - pretty much how my mom would prepare it (she's an awesome cook, no bias! 128541). The sauce is creamy (rather than buttery as I've tasted at some other places, which I don't like), and the bacon bits add a slightly salty and tangy flavour. The serving size is more than enough to satisfy me even at my hungriest. Oh, Mary Grace's carbonara never fails! I could feel all my anger and stress melting away with each bite. :)

Mary Grace's new Vanilla Bean Caramel cake was so good! Three-layered vanilla chiffon with generous caramel filling, covered with vanilla icing, and sprinkled with caramel-colored crunchy bits (I think it's crushed barquillos, my Mom thinks it's crushed arguellanas). This new flavor was introduced in time for Mother's Day. 128144
