I ordered tocino for breakfast. At p210 with garlic rice, two eggs and a cup of coffee it was very reasonably priced. Nothing spectacular. Just ok.

My family and some friends went here for lunch. We were seated and attended to quickly. I ordered Beef Stew - it was okay, it looked and tasted like plain Caldereta but a bit sour for my taste. The beef was tender, as well as the potatoes.

My brother ordered Quesadilla - I give it 4.5 stars because it was so good. It had ground beef, melted cheese, and green bell peppers in a whole wheat tortilla/burrito (not sure whoops?) wrap. The wrap was chewy too. Everyone loved it.

My sister ordered Seafood Marinara pasta. It was nice also, and the toasted bread on the side was delish!

Food:
I am quite unsure if it was the 33K run that was fueling my appetite when I had their hamburger sandwich, but it is for me better than those I had at Charlie's or Chili's. There's a special taste to it I can't quite put my finger on. The beef pasta in white wine sauce was to die for as well. The European salad lacked flavor, but thumbs up on the Gouda cheese cubes: they're huge!

Service:
Wait staff were all pretty and tall females. Why don't they have them here in Metro Manila?

Place:
Except for some fruit flies that were having their field day, the al fresco part of the restraints is ideal for late afternoon talks with friends or family.

Price:
Very reasonable for the taste and serving sizes.

We ordered the Sea Breeze Salad, Chicken Capellini, Pork Tenderloin, Chicken Quesadilla and they were all good and cooked to perfection. It would have been a great dining experience if the service were at par with the good food. This was a major letdown. Our appetizer (quesadilla) arrived long after we finished eating all our other orders and after several follow-ups at that! We also had to repeatedly ask for water. :( Amp up customer service please and maybe Cafe Mesa can work its way to a 4-star rating!

Actually operated by UCC but unlike any ordinary outlet
Overlooking Clark parade ground - nice fresh air and relative peace and quiet with some melodic bird song accompanying coffee and omelette
A nice little hideaway and very popular with the movers and shakers up here .
