This is probably one of my favorite korean restaurants that offers cheap and quality food. This store is located along Banawe Ave a slight diagonal from BDO. It is hard to find in the morning since it is not well lit and the signage of the store is small. During nighttime, it is easier to see the store because there is a very bright light along the borders of the store.

It is also hard to find a parking space especially when the store is packed with people. The guard however would sometimes guide you where to park your car thou. 128514

Upon entering the store, you will noticed that the place is now newly renovated and turned into a well lit store and the atmosphere is cooler since they have installed/fixed a new air conditioning system. Good job!

The servers were also very friendly and would recommend and explain the dishes which is hard to understand since it is spelled in Korean haha.

There also serve condiments of kimchi and radish slices. I especially like the kimchi in this store making us buy 1kg of kimchi worth around 230php. It is worth it! 128522

Now on to the food. Bibimbap (150php) was served in a big black/hotpot/clay bowl. There were a lot of different vegetables, meat and a sunny side up egg. You can opt to choose between spicy and mild spicy in your bibimbap. I prefer spicy bibimbap thou. Haha.

Insider tip: you must mix your bibimbap immediately upon receiving your meal.

My second dish was ramen (130php). It is served in a big bowl with instant noodles, a big of seaweed and a few slides of carrots. You can also choose between mild and spicy. I would prefer the ramen to be mild in spicy level since you will have your bibimbap as spicy already haha.

Bibimbap..
I cant believe there's no whole meat in there... Scanty amount of ground pork lang! The rest is pananim na veggies. Eggs and chilli.

The squid teppanyaki
Do not order. Lutong bahay na bean sprout and small amount of squid lang...

Bangus:
Still the best. Just make sure this dish will not miss your in order list.

I love this place cause it's so near my place so when we don't know where to eat, we always rush to Cafe Monaco. We always order their Pita Pockets, Burger, and the beef rice topping(I don't know what it's called) hehehe. It's more of a korean cuisine and they never fail to deliver! Oh and I super love their fresh crepes! I always have their Mango Crepe with fresh cream for dessert and to think it's just less than a hundred pesos! Super sulit! 10084

Green mango shake tasted weird and bland. My friend's Apple and carrot shake was disappointing as well. Bibimbap and korean bbq were so-so. The only thing we liked was the beef stew w kimchi rice which was really good. Halo halo was more of fruity syrupy than milky and refreshing.128546

We originally planned to head to Kimpo Tea House late a night but it's closed 128148. Sis suggested that we should try here. We came in. Only one table was occupied (which speaks of itself already). Ordered their "usually ordered" dishes: Bibimbap & Beef Stew w/ Kimchi Fried Rice. Mine was the bibimbap: full of mixed veggies, egg, spicy sauce & ofcourse rice. Ground meat = parang wala talaga eh... Beef stew naman accdg. to my sis tastes like lutong bahay. But it's nice that the beef was tender and she didn't have a tough time chewing it. Kimchi rice was great. Props to the complimentary kimchi they served. For desserts, my sis got their avocado shake. Tastes fresh but it's not that cold, medyo tunaw na. I got their mini halo halo, which you people must NOT order. The server asked me what I would like on it, if I liked mangoes, strawberries, kiwi etc. I said "Kayo na bahala." Sa isip-isip ko kaya nga halo halo lol sorry. But when the server came back and asked me just to choose one, I said "Kiwi nalang". When it arrived, it's disappointment at its finest lol. It's just composed of kiwi, red bean paste & ice cream. Ang liit ng lalagyanan and konti nung ice shavings which was not finely shaved. I had a hard time mixing milk with it kasi natatapon na mismo yung contents ng halo halo. I wouldn't really eat it if wala yung red bean paste and ice cream. Not gonna visit this place anytime soon sorry.

Sunday after church, decided to go to monaco with friends just before meeting ng conference.

We had bibimbop, soy noodles ( j-meon), bangus, and orange Nutella crepe

Bibimbop, as always, is my food choice pag korean. Compose of rice, mushroom, beef strips, sesame seeds, nori weeds, sunny side up, zucchini, carrots, mung sprouts (toge), and parang kang kong? (Haha)
They'll serve separately the spicy korean sauce so you can adjust the spicy flavor. They'll serve it in a sizzling pot. The taste is just good

The bangus was just enormous. Tasty.

The orange nutella crepe lacks, in my opinion, more chocolate syrup. The orange slices were in chunks. Liked it also.

Though we did not order their beef pita pocket, would recommend it also. (I have tasted it before, and is one of my favorites there)

Dont forget their halo-halo! This one's different.. If all fruits are in season, they'll serve you strawberry, kiwi, banana, apple, mango, pineapple, and one more... With mung beans crushed ice and milk. Fave q rin to.

Halo halo- 150
Bibimbop- 140
Bangus- 200+
Soy noodle - idk.. ^^
Pita - 80ish?
Crepe - 100

The service is quite fast. No service charge upon billing out. Tip-tip nlng.

Satisfaction in a bowl!

Got their Oyakodon which is basically just like Katsudon except it's chicken. I like the eggy richness topped over the rice and the chicken was juicy and delicious!

Service is good!

May free kimchi pa! 128524

We always frequent this place for kimchichigue. I discovered this because my high school friends ate here a lot! Good food but slow service. I walked out on them one time because we waited for 45 mins for our food!!! But I came back months after my emotion settled. Must have patience while waiting for your order. Hope they can improve so that I can give 5 stars.

The food here is fantastic with a good value for money. Two thumbs up! They should increase their waiters/waitresses as it take sometime for them to acknowledge the request if their clients.. As well as serving food is quite slow... But the food is delicious :-)
