Being always in a hunt for Instagram-worthy places here in Metro Manila, I am more than excited to share all of you guys what I have just found: just across De La Salle University is the Noriter Cafe Manila.

The signage pointing to the location of Noriter Cafe Manila which is at the 2nd floor of the Reyes Building.

The facade of the cafe is really colorful and inviting!

This mural is located just outside the cafe where you can have your photo taken.

Being a graduate of DLSU several years ago, my first and only dining experience in Noriter was a complete blur (it was 2010, I think?), and I am kind of frustrated that I can no longer remember how beautiful the entire place is. I mean, look at the interiors! Every corner is so Instagram-worthy!

Look how the cafe placed so much effort in making the whole place dreamy with their fairy lights and other decorations!

There is a corner where there is a collection of beautifully-designed paper cups!

Like some cafes, there is also a freedom wall here where you can place notes and post-its or even write on the wall itself.

What fascinated me is this corner where there is a world map drawn in a chalkboard. I love world maps!

There is a corner in their wall showing how to prepare different kinds of coffee.

They have a board game corner which guests can borrow so that they can have fun with their friends.

This is the area where you can take off your shoes and chill while studying of catching up with your friends.

They also have this area for those who does not want to sit comfortably as compared to the wooden areas and to better concentrate while they are on their laptops and books.

THE MENU

Noriter Cafe offers a vast selection of menu items which are affordable especially to students.

Here is the drinks menu:

Noriter Cafe also has rice meals which includes Bulgogi and Tonkatsu.

They also have a set of new menu items which includes the samyang noodles, cakes, and sandwiches.

Clubhouse Sandwich
This is a new item in their menu and I must say that, it may taste like an ordinary clubhouse sandwich, but it is something worth-trying. I promise.

Pork Tonkatsu
This is very Japanese and how the tonkatsu was cooked is superb! More importantly, the tonkatsu sauce is yum yum yum!

Beef Bulgogi
I am not really a fan of beef but this is very savory for me. The presence of vegetables on the side just complements the taste of the bulgogi.

Ramen Noodles
Noriter Cafe has a promo wherein you are entitled to a ramen noodles for every rice meal that you will order. How nice!

Cafe Latte
I love love love this drink. The coffee is sooooo yummy and I was able to finish it really fast.

Mango Smoothie
This drink is made of real mango and is not too sweet.

Cafe Mocha
I love the balance of chocolate and coffee in this drink. Oh, the whipped cream is yummy in itself, too!

Noriter Cafe Manila is located at Taft Avenue corner Estrada Street (across De La Salle University), Malate, Manila. They are open from 10:30AM to 10:00PM.

The place was perfect as usual - few people, quiet, peaceful- the kind of place you'd be looking for after a tough day.

I really like this place because you can relax and take your time. We stayed there for around 3 hours and we didn't feel pressured because there were a lot of seats and areas to accommodate a lot of people. You can even lay down and enjoy the floor.128513

We tried the Oreo Cake ( P130) and Honey Bread (P140)

It was delicious at first but after eating 3/4 of both desserts, my friend and I had trouble finishing the them.
Maybe it was because my friend was not very fond of sweets or maybe it was because we are not fond of cinnamon, which we didn't know was part of Honey bread. We only discovered that the Honey bread has cinnamon when it arrived in our table.
But, I liked the cream on top of the Honey bread since it masked out the cinnamon!

Booo cinnamon :p

The Oreo cake was delicious. No arguments.

Me and my girlfriend would like to test out coffee shops anywhere if possible. And so we stumbled upon Cafe Noriter.

The Place

Cafe Noriter is a Korean-themed coffee shop with a few tables and some chatting nook. It's located across La Salle Taft and on the 2nd floor of a building where Mont Albo is located. When we got there, only around less than people where inside so we have plenty of chairs to choose from as the nooks were all occupied. Upon entering the cafe, you'll be amazed on how cutely designed the place is. Made for people who loves to dream, travel, etc. The place is cozy enough to feel relaxed the minute you enter and see the place. I was really overwhelmed by the ambience and peace it brought me. We came from Zarks Burger's 1st floor but we didn't ordered anything for we are not feeling the place so we opted to look for another spot to take on and bam, Cafe Noriter to the rescue.

The Food

Like most coffee shops, they have a number of itens to choose from. My throat's not feeling well but I ordered Hot Machiato, my girl's got an Ice-Cold Latte and an Oreo Cheesecake. The Machiato was tasteful and was blended well. The Latte tastes a little bittery but was still good. I loved the Oreo Cheesecake! For me, it's better than the Oreo Cheesecake of Starbucks and Frankie's Buffalo Wings. Oh, it's not as pricey! I can see everything is affordable :D

The Verdict

You'd love to be in Cafe Noriter if you want to hang-out in a place where you would feel relaxed, just chat around with less noise, do your homeworks or projects in a peaceful ambience, sleep on the nooks if they are available, ibdulged in arts and crafts or literally nothing (but you have to order, of course, for courtesy).

See you around!

My forever chill place. Awesome place for for IGers out here for their beautiful/cutie interior. Also, this place is never crowded that's why I like spending time in here. Their foods are ranging from 100-250php.

My second visit at Noriter with my college friends way back.

Actually this place really reminds me of Korean vibes on how Korea feels like. Tho I haven't been there.

I love the place but not like my first visit coz I think their hub needs redesigning since the place were already full of so many writings on every part especially on the floor, walls etc.

Even if its their style somehow I think its getting kinda off. The place was really quiet unlike in Cafe Travel.

For my second visit I had their Clubhouse which is okay nothing special. While for my drink I had the Iced Chocolate coz I always palpitate when I get to drink coffee so even I used to be a fan of coffee I just had to stop.

Hoping that they will improve and redesign the place.

This is the cafe where I usually stay when I have to wait for someone in Lasalle. Their drinks and food is not something I personally fave on but what I really love about this place is the ambiance and set up of the cafe. It is very cozy and instagram worthy. They have cute double deckers where you can seat or even lay on the floor. It is recommended for your catch up dates with your girl friends and also with your boyfriend :))

The café offers a quiet and tranquil ambiance. Whether you’re out on an intimate date or planning to study alone or with a group, this café might just be the perfect place to head to. The place is spacious; several tables are placed in the center of the café, while the corners are lined with both elevated and two-storey spaces perfect for big groups. The walls of the café are decked in drawn illustrations and messages written by previous customers. Don’t expect too much from their coffee drinks though. The quality of the aptly priced coffee is just average.

Drinks are not that good but desserts are yum. It's a cozy hipster-ish place where you can vandalize on walls. It's the best place to study.

The vagarious and woolgathering ambiance of the place will console your inner spirit and puts you to relaxation. Along with it’s good foods is an intimate and ludic place for some barkada get away or hang outs.

MALLOW CAKE: This piece of cake that tastes heaven as the marshmallow creme frosting clinch your taste buds will definitely bring you somewhere… A paradise. The cake oozes a great imperial power more than what is expected of chocolate taste… and the ganache somehow brought the expectation to reality. A must try.

cool korean cafe! Its been 4years since my first visit here and its still the same! 128522 the waffle was so so and the matcha frappe was good! I’m a fan of green tea lattes and this one did not disappoint. It was creamy, had the right amount of sweetness and will satisfy even those people who are not very keen on the usual grean tea taste.

I missed looloo-ing 128546 Moving on... I love this hipster-ish cafe. Our plan was to head to their rival coffee place but it was closed. Surprisingly , this one was open a Sunday night. 128539 We ordered hot macchiato, caramel frappe and a slice of mallow cake. Price is just right. Good place for hanging out with your friends. I had fun lying down and taking photos of the place.

This is the place where you'll find me on a Saturday night with friends (talking over a cup of hot chocolate and a sansrival cake)! What I love about this place is the concept. Its name is really acceptable for the cafe -- Noriter for playground.

Noriter is amazing. I was like a tourist going around the place, taking blogger shots and just whispering wow again and again. The place is so kawaii! 128525

First impression - the place is so spacious, something I did not expect. There are spots having that Korean setup where you indian sit on a low table... and in those spots people were lying down and just chilling the kpop way. I tell you it works 128521 There are also big rectangular tables perfect for those who want to study. And then there are those small glass tables designed so creatively.

Another corner was full of art, mainly cups hand-drawn with colorful pens where anyone could express whatever they want, be it abstract or confession of love, or anything mushy and cute.

All the walls are also vandalized creatively. Even the restroom has that cool drawing of a coffee king. My eyes delighted at every sight. The tables, the balloons, the mix of colors, really, everything was pretty. Plus of course, yellow lights always work magic.

The staff are also cheerful and youthful like the one who roared, literally, when we kept staring at the menu and could not decide what to order. So random and adorable 128568

Our orders:
I ended up choosing Hot Vanilla. It was flavorful and good. Have you tried the Pure Vanilla Ice Blend from CBTL? Well that exactly is how the Hot Vanilla tasted for me. My friend tried the Espresso Chocolate Chips Frappe. It was baaad. Too bland, lacking in flavor, so-so. Their cups and glasses are not impressive too. C'mon, Noriter, you can do better.

But I'm coming back to try more of their offerings. They've got so much to offer and the place is too lovely not to like. I just hope they fix their playlist? It's too loud for me, and mostly, the songs are remixed so KPOPly 128513 Yes it's groovy and cool, but... some sort of chill, feel-good songs would be great.

So the cup is asking, "do you think love hurts?" 128540

Cafe Noriter is my favorite coffee shop! It's such a cute place and is a good place for readers and students who wish to review and study. They also have paper cups where you can draw or write anything you want and display it there and take it home for free! :)
