Indulging dessert @ Cafe Pronto. Its exactly @ the lobby of Marco Polo Hotel, just a few cartwheels from our building. I decided to have a Cappuccino, my default coffee (P145, for medium size). Its good and not that hot to burn my tongue. Also I shared a slice of Green Tea Mousse (P160) with Yna N. Nothing spectacular for me with this sweet treat. Bland taste of green tea and I can taste "prune" instead of its green tea. How can that be. But its ok 128522 it goes well with my coffee.

Servers here are attentive and courteous. Ambiance is great, since its in a hotel.. Business meetings of different peeps have it here ( I myself had a meeting this morning here)

Had coffee while waiting for my sundo. Espresso cookie is great for a caffeine enthusiasts like me. Cookie quite hard hehe but yummy... Cheesecake caramel mouse was thumbs up m. I've finished it before I remember to take a photo of it. It's on a small bottle (that's cute) it's really yummy. I just don't like the smell from the outside of the cafe, was not good it's fishy smell!

Tried their green tea frappe. For me there's nothing special about it, yet it's more expensive than other cafes offering the same product. Better to just go to Starbucks Reserve at Sapphire Bloc located just at the back of Marco Polo Building.

Cafe Pronto's Cinnamon Raisin Swirl Danish makes one of the best Cinnamon Danish pastries I've eaten in the Metro. I loved the light, chewy, pastry marbled with cinnamon sugar and raisins. The crust is perfectly delicate, flakey , with specks cinnamon sugar and a nice drizzling of white sugar icing. Sweetness levels are perfect without that cringing over-sugar binge.

While, I still much prefer those good Sticky Buns made of uber buttery , sweet, caramely, cinnamonny, pastries, Cafe Pronto's lighter version makes this cinnamon Danish pastry perfect for coffee or tea snacks.

classy, airy & cozy, how can a place be so bright early in the morning?....staff makes u feel very at home even when u don't feel like a human yet... more so far from bring social 128534... I was grudgingly woken up from my drunker stupor from last night...even when all the pastries looks so enticing ...I can't seem to find any appetite 128560

Coffee is a completely differently story... I need a boost to wake me up... Reason I got espresso macchiato with extra shot & got a hard kick in the butt out of my earlier zombie mode...LOL128541 & i also had a sip of the cappuccino...& a bite of pan chocolat...... both taste fine

It's Marco Polo Manila's little cafe right at the ground floor of the hotel where you can get your daily dose of caffeine at the same price as your typical "designer coffee".

They serve pastries and breads early in the morning as well as pre-prepared sandwiches. Come brunch time, their freshly cooked sausage rolls and quiches are brought down from their main Hotel Kitchen as well as other assortments of sandwiches that are made to your liking.

We discovered this on their "opening" day, when we just moved to the building adjacent to Marco Polo and had no idea where else to get coffee without crossing several streets.

We found their Lattes too bland and too milky for our taste. Their baristas and their manager were nice enough to re-do our lattes giving us double shots instead of the usual.

Their sandwiches are nice, not the ones you'd travel all the way to buy, good enough for a quick breakfast. The warm sandwiches and quiche are nicer though.

Service tends to be slow at the counter. I feel like they're entering so much for a cup of latte! Other than that they are accommodating as always.

Cappuccino and Smoked Salmon & Avocado Sandwich

The cappuccino was alright. The smoked salmon was good! And I loved the avocado dip that you had to smear on the salmon, couldn't get enough of it! The only deal breaker: the bread. It was so haaaard and chewy, and not chewy in the good way. I think it's because the sandwiches were already prepared beforehand and all they did was heat it up? If it weren't for the bread, I would've given this sandwich 5 stars. I wish they'd change it soon, sayang eh!

Yay for a new cafe near my office!

Cafe Pronto is located at the ground floor of the newly-opened Marco Polo Manila. I love that the place is open as early as 7am. The place seems so bright and airy with the sunlight coming in through the windows.

I've tried their Americano which was good and strong. Just what I needed so early in the morning! 9728️ The Chocolate Muffin seemed a bit dry though, and the Dark Beer Muffin tasted a bit like banana bread! If you're a fan of raisins, you should definitely get this. I, however, am not 128078 Definitely going back to try their oversized cookies and brownies!

They have ongoing promos now that I think are going to last until the end of the month. Buy their sandwich of the day and get your coffee at 50% off, and they have a buy 1, take 1 promo on coffee as well!

The second part of my twitter winning from Marco Polo Hotel Manila is the Cafe Pronto.
After a great buffet breakfast at Cucina we were given about 30 minutes to visit their new Cafe Pronto located also on the same floor were Cucina was. It offers a wide range of pastries that perfect for your cup of coffee.

The interiors were nice . They served ube ensaymada for us that time then I tried their caramel blend frappe and was almost closed to the taste of other branded coffee shops in the metro and lastly I was able to try their chocolate pistachio gelato that was really good!

Service was fast and what I like is that they have sockets for my fone which almost drained that time because I posted many photos on twitter , facebook and Instagram.

The Cucina and Cafe Pronto Dining Experience Event was a success, thanks to generous Marco Polo Hotel Manila that I am part of this great event, more power!

Huge, moist, cheesy, Ube Ensaymada, creamy ChocNut Gelato, yummy Chocolate Macaron dipped in chocolate, and healthy and delicious Chicken Teriyaki in a Nori Brioche. These and more from Marco Polo Ortigas' newly opened Cafe Pronto.

Cafe Pronto evokes a clean cafe vibe. Bright, airy, with interesting but nice light colored textured wooden walls. It is located at the ground floor/street level of the hotel. It somewhat resembles the usual cafe feel of international coffee house chains. What makes them different then?

They offer freshly baked in-house breads, rolls, sweet breads, cakes, cookies, and pralines. For a heavier and/or healthier option, they likewise offer sandwiches and salads. They also have a limited selection of interesting gelato flavors. And, a good list of coffee brews , coffee preps, and teas.

The Chicken teriyaki in a Nori Brioche (Php 145) was good. A healthy serving of chicken fillet, tomato slices, and cucumber. The chicken fillets were nicely flavored and moist. The Nori Brioche was rightly dense yet chewy with the Nori seaweed flavors.

Their Ube Ensaymada (Php 180) was divine! Huge (about 8 inches diameter-perfect for 2-3 people), moist, chewy, spongey, marbled with creamy ube halaya and generously topped with grated Cheddar Cheese and Salted duck egg slices. The cheese and salted egg slices helped cut through the richness of the pastry. It wasn't as buttery as my favorite gourmet Ensaymada from Diamond Hotel/Cake Club. BUT, Cafe Pronto's take was really good. Their servers were true to their word that their Ube Ensaymada was delicious. Now I'm torn between this and Diamond Hotel's Ube Ensaymada.

Their ChocNut Gelato (Php 75) was nicely creamy with actual bits of ChocNut. Velvety texture, sweet, chocolatey.

I also loved their Chocolate Dipped Chocolate French Macaron (Php 40). Dense, crunchy cookie sandwich with a nice chocolate filling. This plays a good contender for my love of Bizu's French Macarons. Also loved their classy tin-can packaging for their French Macarons. It comes free when customers order a set of Macarons. Perfect gift for sweet tooths.

We got their latte and cappuccino to pair with our pastries and sandwich. Not bad at all.

Prices are reasonable and comparable to those other cafe international chains. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. And they also offer free Wi-Fi services to in-house diners. Parking for three hours is free (just remember to get a parking pass from their Concierge).

Highly recommended to foodies looking for a good cafe to dine in or grab-and-go within the Ortigas Center. For foodies who love Ensaymada , Cafe Pronto's Ube Ensaymada is definitely not to miss.
