Chicken Paprika pasta. Amalgamation of flavors were spot on; nothing was too overpowering nor underwhelming. Chicken on the side was cooked perfectly. Serving was quite dismal for P250, though.

Also, please, please try to not leave this beautiful place without getting the Bencab's Brew. It's one of the best I've ever tried.

4 Cheese and Chicken Paprika. When in Baguio, go to Bencab, look at art and eat at Cafe Sabel. The chicken paprika is yummier.

Ben Cab museum is one of the must visit places when in Baguio, so being a first timer, I just had to go for it. After appreciating the art exhibit, we went down to Cafe Sabel for lunch. We sat down on the veranda/ outside area where we can see the garden and feel the cold, Baguio air.

We had the Farm Fresh Green Salad and the Hungarian (with rice).

The hungarian was yummy and huge for the price. The meal also came with red rice and some sauteed mushrooms on the side. It's a sulit meal.

The farm fresh green salad was a huge YES for me. I loved it! It had lettuce, watercress, croutons, parmesan and strawberry dressing. I loved that the veggies were so green and tasted fresh, with no trace of bitterness whatsoever. The dressing was also delicious. It tasted light, refreshing, and not too sweet.

Let's put it this way, I loved the salad so much that I was thinking of living my life with that salad alone as my food. I'm still drooling about this now 128513

Oh, the tinapa rice was also good 128077🏼

Overall, It's a food + ambiance kind of an experience. It was nice.

What a great way to end my BenCab Museum trip - with me just sitting there, watching the fog hover above the quaint town, sipping milkshake and eating warm toasts.

First of all, I love the strategic location of the place and how hip it looks. I just love cafes with excellent interiors with scenic views to match. Food was great but it's too pricey for me. The toast with jam tasted so good. Same with the milkshakes. One thing I didn't like was the service. The clerk was too grumpy. Or maybe it was just me, but it clearly affected the whole vibe of the place.

If nabusog ang mga mata niyo sa BenCan museum, mabubusog ka naman literally when you cap of your experience with a meal at Cafe Sabel. From a visual treat, to a gastronomic treat, the folks behind BenCab really know how to curate a competely satisfactory experience.

Everything here screams freshness. From the ingredients to the dishes themselves. I know that a lot of the stuff are either grown on their farm or sourced locally within the city. And why not? This is good Baguio produce we're talking about.

Thoroughly enjoyed the lemonades - basil lemonade ftw! I really, really recommend this drink. Super refreshing.

Salad was farm fresh and so was the strawberry vinaigrette that came with it. I could say the same as well for the tomato soup! Their mountain rice was their version of risotto except with Baguio rice, and that didnt disappoint either. It wasnt as smooth and creamy as a typical risotto, but the flavors exuded that authentic mountain-sourced ingredients feel - very mushroomy and earthy.

Lava ice cream was just 'meh'. Basically ice cream with chocolate sauce and strawberries. The fresh strawberries were the saving grace. I mean, it looks good but nothing really special.

I hope they open a branch in Manila without having to raise the prices too much. There's so much more i'd love to try from their menu but i dont think i'd go all the way back to Baguio and through the museum just to get there. 128514

Operating Hours: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Open daily except Mondays, Christmas Day & New Year’s Day)
Located inside BenCab museum, Cafe Sabel is a haven for the health conscious as most of the ingredients come directly from their farm outside of the museum and restaurant building. Even though the prices are a little bit expensive compared to other restaurants in Baguio, the whimsical ambiance as well as the breathtaking and inner peace-inducing view outside will surely compensate for it. To fully immerse in this experience, try eating at the outside seats. That is, if you can brave the cold Baguio weather. 128521

The Farm Fresh Salad (Php 150) was made with different kinds of lettuce, fresh tomatoes, julienned raw carrots, cucumber and alfalfa sprouts with strawberry vinaigrette dressing. Truly an appetizer to delight your senses.

Meanwhile, the Duck Flakes rice meal (Php 250) was served with salted egg salad, black and highland rice and the flavorful shredded duck meat. For Php 200, the serving of Hungarian Sausage pasta, served with toasted bread, was very satisfying.

The Omelette (Php 200) was what you would expect an omelette to be. My brother chose bacon (you can choose between tuna and bacon) and it was served with a side of cut tomatoes and toasted bread. The Adobo Rice (Php 200), pork adobo served with sweet potato, was also not that remarkable.

Crowd favorites: Farm Fresh Salad, Chicken Paprika

Just ate merienda here after bringing our cousins to BenCab. Hot chocolate and blueberry cheesecake for the day's rest. Food is quite pricey here. But still I'm interested in their pastas and other offers.

Good food and a picturesque view go perfectly together always. So that's what Cafe Sabel proudly boasts for.

Two stars only because everything is expensive and we didn't like our food and drinks and staff are not accommodating. Lalo na si ate na my braces. Sungit.

We ordered adobo and homemade longganisa and it was bland and so not worth the price. The adobo is fatless and pale and the homemade longganisa is just bola bola, I don't know why they call it longganisa. Our version at home and carenderia is way better. The only saving grace is the Ifugao rice, I love the taste and texture and I've heard it is organic.

It can be a wrong order for us, maybe the other choices are worthy. I saw the other table orders and it looks better than ours hehe specially the salad, so still give it a try but I suggest not to order what we had. Also, the ambiance and view is amazing and relaxing, perfect for long chats.

I can't forget all things that happened in this place! :""") First seeing my idol "the bencab", sipping my first cup of coffee in baguio and lastly, got mesmerize at bencab's museum! Cafe isabel has the best view and fresh air while you drink your coffee :) Cafe's staffs were so accomodating and smiling. The price of their coffee compliments to the taste of it. The whole experience was the best! no words can describe how happy i am when i visit the whole museum :)

Late lunch at Cafe Sabel with boyfie.
Cafe Sabel is the restaurant cafe located inside BenCab Museum in Tuba, Baguio City. Opens daily form 9:00am-6:00pm (except for monday)

Food:
Ordered the Bencab Chicken Paprika (250php)- combination of pasta, chicken and bread. Oh so yummy! Taal Rice (200php)- taste is good, but I think its bitin. For our drink, we try the Ice Choco, awwww! So good, can taste the pure chocolate flavor. 10084 A bit pricey but worth the try.

Ambiance:
I really love the place, so amazing! 1108811088110881108811088

This cafe offers a variety of foods, they have healthy but yummy foods. Bit pricy but you will enjoy all bencab's art and the beautiful view. I have this restaurant 5 stars because the staffs are very accommodating and very pleasant. That's starwberry milkshake. Not too thick, not too sweet, not too sour, just right!!

My friend and i check out BenCab Museum and decided to have our lunch at Cafe Sabel. And because i'm drooling over alfalfa I ordered their Farm fresh green salad with strawberry vinaigrette and cucumber cooler. Indeed a healthy meal and farm fresh128522

Awesome place because you have the view of the mountains, duck pond and BenCab's organic farm where they get their ingredients such as veggies.

A great place for relaxation and away from the busy metro.

Place- if you dine with the breathing taking view nothing goes wrong. Super nakakarelax.

Food- food is okay. Para sa mga nagddiet. Hehe. They have farm, so lahat ng gulay etc doon nanggagaling.

Staff- slow service. Amp. We decided to take our lunch here, so nababagalan ako sa service nila cause medyo gutom na ako. Hehehe.

But overall I still recommend this place because of the view.

Aside from the beautiful view, Cafe Sabel located inside the Bencab Museum offers really good dishes. I got the Rosemary Porkchop and I loved it! The flavors were so simple, but really tasty. We also ordered Duck Flakes, which was just so-so. It was crispy, but in my opinion, needed more flavor. Prices are quite expensive but it was still a good experience, so I think it's worth it.

We also ordered The Bencab brew, which is quite expensive for 100, but packed a very strong punch.

Can't wait to go back and try the Mountain Rice!

Place was soooo packed. At ang daming langaw. It also took about 30 minutes for our meals to be served.

Now, onto the meal itself: I got the Taal Rice, which is basically smoked fish with tomatoes and red egg. It was good, though I was expecting for a wow factor. For P200, I must say the serving was small.

We end our tour at BenCab Museum by dining at Cafe Sabel. There I ordered two of their best sellers, Mountain Rice with Ground Pork and Mushrooms and Kamias juice. Both were good, what really had me is the Mountain Rice which I think is the Filipino version of risotto, very rich and flavorful.

Plus plus, the mountain view is spectacular! The breeze and all that.

Although, the food and drinks are a bit pricey.

We tried of the resto. The food sucks. Service was fast. I ordered grilled pork chop. In less than 5 mins. It was served already and its cold. I think it was already pre cooked. The reason it got 2 stars is the view.
