I go to Cebu at least once a month for work and I can't believe I tried Cafe Sarree only now. As soon as we entered, we were seated right away and a waitress happily took our order.

I got one of their bestsellers, the Salpicao (P285). I was surprised that it was served in a mini serving bowl with the chunks of beef, and slices of bell pepper swimming in chili oil. It was also topped with toasted garlic chips. The beef was very tender, tasty, with a perfect kick of spiciness. So good!

My friend got the Meat Lasagna (P240) and for its price, it was definitely worth it. The serving size is good for two and they obviously didn't scrimp on the ingredients.

Cafe Sarree is now one of my favorite restaurants in Cebu and I can't wait to be back to try more of their dishes.

It is amazing how there are so many foodie spots here in Cebu, and Café Sarree is definitely one of them! I went here for girls' night out and it was an awesome experience! Their food is excellent and portions are bigger than what we paid for.

For starters, we enjoyed a bowl of their Soup of the Day. That night, it was their Pumpkin Soup. It was smooth and thick and had a hint of spice and wonderful. It was the perfect start of the meal!

We then enjoyed an order of their Quesadilla. It was such a big serving of meaty cheesy goodness! Their version of the Mexican grilled cheese sandwich was absolutely delicious!

Then we each had our mains. My friend chose the Salpicao. It was solid great and was served with a huge chunk of rice. My other friend had the Southern Style Glazed Belly. It was super delicious too! Tender pieces of pork with a silky sweet-savory barbecue sauce and served with a a huge serving of rice, it was also a dish to die for.

For my entrée, I had the Cheesesteak Tartine. It's a huge open faced sandwich with a thick cut of bread with strips of perfectly grilled beef seasoned wonderfully and enveloped with so muchc cheese, this sandwich is so filling and awesome! It was so big too, I had to take half of it home.

I can't wait to come back to try more of their dishes, and soon!

Sstopped by this place before I left Cebu! Got the eggs benedict with spicy chorizo and it just didn't match. Hahahha. Like the taste of the hollandaise w the egg yolk did not match the chorizo and even on it's own the chorizo wasnt that good.

We also got the churros but it was too airy! And non of the three dips stood out either. The chocolate dip wasnt thick, the strawberry jam like it was out of a jar and the cream like it was just condensada.

They can totally do so much better.

Best aligue pasta i've tried so far with the right mix of cream, baked cheese and thin al dente pasta strings. Pairs well with smoked salmon arugula in mayo mustard and vinaigrette! #comfortfood #foodie #healthyeats #freshpicks #cebu

Love their breakfast meals. Especially their Angus Beef Tapa that I would eat anytime of the day. Their Salmon with couscous is also delicious as well as their ribs. Desserts are delicious especially their churros and french toast. A simple and homey resto.

They've got a lot of choices in their menu but I was there for their desserts. The first time I didn't read any reviews or whatnots of a restaurant. Just went straight inside then browse what their desserts are. They got a lot too!
But I was eager to try their Chocolate Baileys Trifle. Got no idea what it was aside from the little description from the menu. It's a layer by layer of Baileys(irish liquor that's cream based), meringue, chocolate and sponge cake.
To my surprise, it was really good! You have to eat the layers all at once (scoop all of it!) to taste the goodness or you can try every layer once. 128522
Got to try their banoffee too! It was good for me but I think I can find better than what they serve.
Oh. Each cost for 115php! 128522

Only got the chance to taste their after meal frozen treats - mango trifle 128077and a Choco lava drink (tasted like Sustagen). A little bit pricey 128181 but an intimate and relaxing place to hangout! The 2ndflr's classy ambience would still make your stopover all worth it.

It's a quaint little place with friendly personnel. It isn't that big of a place but what little they had, they utilized wisely.
We started off with aubergine (crisped seasoned eggplant pieces served with mayo) which was really good. It had a hint of Indian taste, which I love.
The main course for me was their pesto pasta (penne pasta with pesto, asparagus, Parmesan cheese, and olive oil served with two thin pieces of bread). It was a decent enough dish but it had too much olive oil. I tried dipping the piece of bread into the bowl only to have it soaked in olive oil. It was slightly revolting, just slightly. Other than that (and the fact that Café Saree is a wee bit too pricey for me), it was all pretty good.
