Mango Bing Su. 128076🏼

I love that their regular-sized bing su is actually good for sharing.

It's difficult to ensure good quality of mangoes especially if they're not in season so I'm glad what we had was sweet enough.

Cafe Seolhwa's main item is Bingsu which is a korean dessert made of shaved ice, milk, fruits and other toppings.

Tried 4 flavors already. 128561

Here's the ranking accd. to my taste:
1. Choco - Single: P180 ,Large P240
- I think I could finish this alone haha! Di ako naumay. I could tolerate its sweetness.
2. Strawberry - Single: P240 ,Large P360
-I could eat the shaved ice even if there were no more toppings. It was like the milk was spread entirely to the shaved ice. This was highly recommended by my friend. I liked this flavor too even if some fruits were quite sour.
3. Caramel Coffee - Single: P220 ,Large P320
-Tasted like coffee 128514 128077🏼
4. Mango Cheese - Single: P240 ,Large P340
-I'm a mango lover but I least liked this. I think it lacked milk. I could eat the ice alone even if there's no more toppings for the Strawberry and Coffee, pero sa Mango, it tasted quite bland. Maybe because we ate all the toppings first 128514128556

For me, the Single order was enough good for 4 people who are not addicted to desserts. Just for tikim/ tanggal umay. The Large was very big for me. Good for six na ata yun! 128561

For the price, pwede na siguro kasi good for sharing naman unless you won't share haha! Medyo pricy for one 128522

Most of the time, the korean will serve the bingsu to you. I think he is the owner?

Very polite yung waiters. 128522

The ambiance was nice. Good for chilling after eating at Sing Sing. Pampawala ng umay 128517

Tapos yung music, opm or kpop. Palabas pa yung Descendants of the Sun sa tv nila 128556128522

I'll try other flavors next time 128522

Since we labeled that night "Korean night", it wouldn't be complete if we would not end it with a Korean dessert. Cafe Seolhwa is already open at the 2nd floor of the mall along Aguirre st. It was my second time to try their Bingsu, so I know that the taste wouldn't fail me.

I was already too full that night, so I let my friends order the desserts. They tried the Mango Bingsu and the Red Velvet Cake while I ordered a Green Tea. The Red Velvet cake was quite disappointing since the cake was dry. My friend even asked if it was the normal texture since she expected it to be dry. While the Bingsu as expected never failed us. The regular size is good for sharing (only if you are too full for desserts). It is creamy and the mangoes are sweet. My green tea on the pther hand was served in a mug. It had the usual taste so I couldn't comment any further

The place has wifi and has an outdoor sitting area. No Wash room inside the restaurant, you had to walk a few steps to reach the common wash room of the mall.

I was really curious for months and wanted to try it but BGC is a bit far for me plus I can't stand the heavy traffic. Then I found out they have opened another branch here in Paranaque 128522.

We ordered Mango and cheese bingsu (240 for single order) and Caramel and coffee bingsu (220 for single order). We waited for around 15 mins. When our order arrived, we realized a single order is good for 1-2 person.

Actually, my partner and I didn't enjoy it. Matabang kasi. We expected more from it considering there are a lot of good reviews about it. I don't think we'd visit again.

I somehow found myself in the south one weekend and also craving for some bingsu.

The #bingsudiaries continue!

We tried the mango bingsu as usual. I think this one has the least amount of mangoes compared to the others we've tried.

I thought there would be more in the middle but there's none.

It still tasted good but me want more mangoes!

This branch is spacious and they have selfie sticks you can borrow. It's quite clever actually, that way the servers won't be bothered to take photos. 128514

Soo good! So sad they don't have strawberry bingsu available when we visited today128556.

Also downside is no credit card facility given the prices I would think it would be helpful if they offer card facility.

I'm not a super bingsu fan but when your wisdom tooth is growing, bingsu will be your best friend.

Maverick Christopher P just got home from Cagayan and we decided to hangout here since it was close by my place.

The bingsu was pretty much the same price with cafe if, I was just disappointed that they didn't have strawberry or matcha available 128554 So I settled with their blueberry cheesecake.

The bingsu was good, I loved the cheesecake cubes. They were light and fluffy. It was one of those "melt-in-your-mouth" goodness. But sadly, I wasn't able to finish it. (Well infairness to me I did eat most of it, I was just expecting someone to eat the rest but he was too full from his spicy ramen) haha! 128514

Hopefully on our next visit their strawberry bingsu wouldnbe available 9786

Thoroughly enjoyed the berry cheese toast! Imagine 2 slices of toast glued together with injeolmi (Korean mochi), flattened, and topped with strawberry jam, berries, cheesecake bits, almond thins, condensed milk drizzle, and cream....... 128525

...mango cheese bingsu.

...340 bucks good for two. Good thing they really loaded it with mango and cheesecake cubes.

...nice quaint interior

...dunno why it would take them 15 minutes to assemble this given there were only 2 tables occupied.

Seol Hwa's my first Bingsu experience and it made me fascinated with Bingsus 🙃 Their Choco Bingsu is so good!!! - the shaved chocolate ice melts like cream. Came back after 4 days to try Mango and Cheese Bingsu: uhm so-so.. not something that i would order again. The milk ice needs more sweetness to it; the mango wasn't sweet but the cheesecake around it and ice cream made the milk ice enjoyable. Can't wait to go back again & try their other flavors.

Despite the convenience, I hate this branch the most. I see no reason why it took them 30 minutes for an order of mango cheese bingsu; to think it wasn't a full house pa. Freshly baked ba yung cheesecake?!128527 PLUS, the guy behind the cashier was clueless with the food on the menu! Puro "Di po ako sure". Is that even an acceptable answer?? I still liked the bingsu but the service was just way off!

Bingsu! Loved our choices! :)

Although we had to wait before we could order. We had seats already but we couldn't order yet because they had so many backlogged orders.

But! I didn't mind because the bingus we prdered were delicious, and i saw the effort of the kitchen in trying to spew out the orders as fast as possible.

:)

The day after I went to Cafe Seolhwa Bingsu in Fort, I paid a visit to their newest branch: the one in BF.

My brother was able to convince my mum to take us and so we went after eating dinner at Big Brat Burgers.

They had just opened a few days ago and the place was packed. I think 50% of their visitors were Koreans haha the owners were there and they told us that their branch is different (?) from the one in Alabang, although I find this strange because it's the same franchise. He said they have different machines and recipes. Haha

My brother ordered the Strawberry bingsu. It was great - and this is coming from someone who isn't into strawberries. The whipped cream was awesome, altho it was oddly not cold.

I wanted to try the Mango cheese bingsu, but it was sold out. The cashier recommended some soy nut bingsu, but later on told me it was sold out as well. I shelled out some more money to get the caramel coffee bingsu. I found it very yummy. It was more on caramel than coffee though.

I took FOREVER for us to get our orders though. More than 45 minutes. 128528 wtf. I know they just opened but hopefully they get to improve that.
