A good place to chill with friends. Yummy desserts! I can say it's a very big piece of bread and they call it "toast". The outside is toasted perfectly while soft and yummy on the inside. You get to choose if you want a small or big toast and what flavors you'd want. Aside from the toasts, I also like their pasta and savory meals. It's a must-try place if you haven't been here. Worthy of revisits!128076🏻128523128111

Giving 3 stars to this. I love Carbonara with poached egg! It made the pasta soooo creamy. Only it was a little flat. Had to add pepper, salt, and parmesan according to my taste. One thing I appreciated was the generous serving of sliced bacons!!! 128513128513128513

Their desserts looked good so I will try that next!

First time here at Cafe Shibuya, its a good thing SM The Block opens a variety of new restaurants.
We ordered their Chicken Karage (11088110881108811088️)
and liempo in kimchi rice (11088110881108811088️)
Both were in generous amount and tastes good.
They have this instagram worthy place and their service was great.
For dessert we ordered matcha cake (see attached photo) because my partner love anything that has matcha on it, and to my surprise, it tastes really good.
Not too sweet and hindi nakakasawa. 128077🏽

R and I had a few errands to do before the long weekend last week and to cap the tiring day, we opted to have dinner at this quaint restaurant right across SM Hypermart in SM North Edsa.

Hello, Cafe Shibuya!

I spotted Cafe Shibuya while waiting in line for the cashier at the supermarket. The brightly lit place had a very charming ambiance which appealed to me. So when R asked where I want to have dinner, I pointed the bakery looking shop. It was perfect as we were too tired to head elsewhere. After paying for our groceries, we went straight across and sat on the chairs outside the restaurant while signalling the server for menu.

Peter, the friendly server told us that it is better to eat inside. We pointed out that we have a shopping cart which will obstruct the space between the dining tables. But he assured us that it was fine and began to pushed the cart inside and positioned it near the counter. He then served water right after taking care of our cart. Talk about great first impression!

We checked the menu and decided to go with Honey Lemongrass Chops (PHP295), Fish and Chips (PHP175) and Pink Passion (PHP85).

Service was fast too. Our drink was served in less than 5 minutes and our food soon followed. I was amazed!

Pink Passion was bubbly and slightly tangy. I loved that it wasn't too sweet and that it actually quenched my thirst.

The Honey Lemongrass Porkchops was value for money. It was really good! It had the right balance of sweetness and saltiness.

Pork was tender and succulent and it went really well with the tomato and corn salsa! I finished every grain of java rice! (Well, R and I split the dish.)

Fish and Chips was pretty good too. The dip made the battered fish a bit closer to Fish & Co's famous Fish and Chips. It would have been better if they added a slice of lime for extra flavor.

Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. Service was superb! I will definitely go back and try the sweets next time!

Cafe Shibuya in The Block SM North was already on dry run when I went 3 days ago. Some items on the menu are not yet available though. Tried their Strawberry Dessert Toast and it was delicious. It's very filling though. This one is their Baby size and it's seriously good for 2 persons.

I've only been to Cafe Shibuya in Glorietta which is just a small "stall" in the middle of an open area. But this one has its own enclosed space. And it has lovely interiors.
