Matcha Green Tea Latte
Capuccino
Americano
Original Dark Chocolate Molten Lava Cake

Everything was great. But the highlight was definitely the molten lava cake.

My dad looooooves dark chocolate. And the usual task after lunch is to find the perfect dark chocolate dessert. My sister and I suggested this cafe and lo and behold, they have dark chocolate molten lava cake.

My dad tried lava cake once. But he hated it because it was too sweet for him. But first bite into Cafe Shibuya's dark chocolate version and he was in heaven. Every bite was just pure darķ chocolatey goodness.

He couldn't stop talking about it. Even after we got home. Even after one day. It was THAT good. 🖒

Its a Thursdate last Thursday. Hubby fetched me from a school meeting of our son, so we decided to have lunch at Cafe Shibuya UPTC. It's our second time here.

Hubby got chops while I had their Crispy Pork belly with kimchi rice. Sweet salty flavor of their deep porked belly perfectly complements their spicy kimchi rice then got their molten lava cake for dessert, this is our favorite lava cake. Must try 128077

This is my only second visit to this place. We ordered the mango kani salad, chicken parmigiana, pork belly and mango with salted caramel toast.

Their servings was huge! I had the pork belly and it eas great! The pork was crispy yet soft. The suace complements the pork also. The kimchi rice was different, a bit spicy but it was okay. My wife had the chicken parmigiana and surprisingly she almost finished it. The salad was okay. The toadt was another story. The mangoes with salted caramel was a delight. Considering that we were already full, we
managed to finish it. A perfect dessert to end our meal. This even made us forget the annoying family who was impatiently waiting for our table to be vacated. Highly recommended.

Good food = good life wahahahahaha jk 1/2

I was deciding where to eat ~*dessert*~, then I checked Café Shibuya out, I convinced myself to eat there.

The place is very spacious, and the interiors are cute. The waitress is also very friendly.

I ordered their bestselling Ferrero Hazelnut Dessert Toast. It took roughly about 15 minutes until the dessert toast was served.

Lo and behold! It was a big toast! I got overwhelmed and thought, "Mauubos ko ba 'to?" Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish the whole toast, but I ate the Ferrero, Ice cream and whipped cream 128514128514128514

For the price, it was a bit expensive to think, but it's worth it.

Original shibuya honey toast! Yay!!
Would go to cafe shibuya to have my dose of happiness. Original shibuya honey toast does the trick each and every time. Drizzling the toast with the right amount of honey is my favorite thing to do in Cafe Shibuya. Their coffee is just as good paired with the original toast. Their barista even told us that they get their coffee beans locally which I appreciate. Their selection of hot and cold drinks even boasts of ghirardelli chocolate drinks.
The warm interior adds to this place's charm.
Overall this is my favorite dessert-go-to place.

My first time to try this place. Me and my friend were looking for a cafe for some caffeine fix after a heavy meal at Silantro. Both of us were raving about the reviews so we gave ot a try.

We want to try their famous toast and we settled with the Original Shibuya honey toast. I loved that the serving is good enough for sharing and it tastes really good, especially when paired with the vanilla ice cream or the green tea ice cream (we ordered it as extra). I also commend that they let you do the thing in putting the honey over the toast (instagram worthy?! 128522.

We also tried their Ghihardelli drinks: Triple dark and Java Chip. Triple dark is my new favorite chocolate drink. Since I am a fan of dark chocolate, I think that this thing is a new found love. There's a right balance of sweetness and bitterness which I really like whenever I'm having a choco drink. Java chip is also good, more on the coffee side. (We availed their tuesday promo: 50% off on the second drink that your order 128522128077🏼)

Being an avid fan of matcha, we also tried their Premium Green Tea ice cream (extra for 45 pesos). It's a perfect way to cap off your matcha craving. You can really taste the green tea plus a bit of sweetness which is good to balance out the 'grassy' flavor of tea (my perception 128522).

Place has a great ambiance. It's just sad that wifi wasn't available during that time. The staff were accomodating and the service was fast.

Overall, we really enjoyed our 'first time' in this place. Will definitely try this place again. 128077🏼128077🏼128077🏼

Definitely on the list of my favorite dessert places, Cafe Shibuya is certainly the one that I always come back for.

Set at UPTC, I've always loved their signature toasts paired with their tasty drinks.

When we visited, I ordered their Original Shibuya Honey Toast with the hot Matcha Green Tea Latte.

Oh, the honey toast smelled so good and with every bite you take, its softness and yummyness will really make you an addict for it. With the light sweetness of the honey that you can drizzle on top of it, plus the combination of the milkyness of the vanilla ice cream, all the happy flavors will make you so happy.

The latte was so good too. I loved how milky it was, not making the taste of the green tea lack, too. Surely one of my fave types of green teas served in the metro.

Cafe Shibuya is one of the reasons I would walk from Ateneo to UP Town Center on a normal school day with traffic and at the sun's peak. Whether I'm craving for a savory breakfast, a hearty pasta dish for lunch or delicious toast with ice cream for dessert, the place always delivers. The service is great and the staff are warm and friendly. If you are a regular customer, they are sure to remember you. Although the prices are not so student budget friendly, the servings are quite huge so be sure to bring a friend or two.

For breakfast, I would recommend getting the Shibuya Benedict. It's the perfect way to start the day! Made with a deep fried poached egg, ham, shitake mushrooms, and Japanese cream sauce, this dish will have you wanting more. For pasta, I always say you can never go wrong with truffle, so be sure to order the Truffle Cream Pasta with Prosciutto. Every time I order this, the noodles are cooked al dente and the flavors are always on point. And of course, what is a trip to Cafe Shibuya without trying their special toasts? For dessert, try their Nutella and Ferrero Hazelnut toasts. If you are a sucker for chocolate, then you will definitely meet your match.

While I regularly go to the branch in UP Town Center, I'm sure other branches will offer a dining experience just as wonderful. If you haven't tried it yet, hop on the foodie wagon and make this your next resto trip!

The photo you see is what's left of the signature honey toast of Cafe Shibuya. It was a nice end to a filling lunch yesterday with my team. :) but, expected so much from all the hype, I was a bit underwhelmed. :(

The strawberry quinoa salad (shared two orders for all five of us) was really refreshing! Worth it! :) the signature mentaiko did not fail to please! It had just the right Japanese twist to it (though one of my friends says bitin siya).

The baked salmon was oh too rich and creamy that I lost the salmon goodness.

The crispy pork belly with kimchi rice was awesome!!!! We ordered two of these.

Steered clear of the matcha because of all the not-so-good reviews and took clear green tea. A bit disappointing that it was green tea in a bag. Japanese are so known for their teas that I hoped they would have a modernized take on the traditional Japanese tea.

Overall just 4 stars. The food is 3 stars but the ambience pushed it to 4. The inspirational and interesting writings on the walls of the place and the light feeling you get when you come into this place deserves an extra star.

Will go back to try other stuff.

The bill for all the food we ordered was a little over php2k which is not bad. About php400 per head. Staff was very accommodating and thumbs up to them!

I ordered their pizza toast and it was really good. Very cheesy, just the way I like it. Definitely a steal for just 200 pesos and you get two huge pieces of toast. Paired that with a Lattè. Perfect afternoon snack! My friend ordered their Banoffee toast, and it was good too. The junior size of their sweet toasts actually is a big serving.

"The toast that puts all other toasts to shame." - That's how I would describe Cafe Shibuya's Mango Caramel Toast.

Oh lordy, these toasts are like crack I'm crazy for them right now. 128513 This was the first toast that I've eaten where my eyes rolled at the back of my head and happy molecules entered my brain.

The dessert toasts look sweet but actually, they aren't THAT sweet at all. The sweetness level is just perfect. The only thing that I didn't like was the slow service. It wasn't very busy when we were there, so I don't know if it was a hiccup or not.

Definitely coming back to try the other items on their menu. Excited to try the Pizza Toasts and Molten Cakes next time!

Cheers,
Mickey

Ghirardelli chocolate series
I tried their premium dark chocolate hot drink with espresso to put on my nightcap.
The size was just what i was looking for. Very reasonable price too considering it is ghirardelli chocolate.
So it was one eighth foam and the rest was all chocolate goodness. I did not taste dark chocolate thought. My tastebuds says it still is milk chocolate.but anyway... Espresso is not that strong. I just think they dont serve drinks the way they serve best at desserts. 128516

The food and coffees are great!!! I love the place it's so cozy and artistic by the way the menu was superb when I receive the menu I thought its just a newspaper but whoah its the menu of the cafe clap clap. The price is a little bit affordable but its worth it (eat). The place is perfect for meetings, gathering for small groups, and especially for barkadas who want to go out and eat and chill and talk hahaha. I came all the way from Taft and my visit was worth it I'll be back I'm sure of that guys! :)

So what are you waiting for try it :)

I love their matcha green tea frappe but not a fan of their strawberry one. Their kimchi fried rice is really good and the serving is HUGE - really worth it. Another plus was the fact that the place was spacious and it was not crowded when we went there.

Photo: Crispy pork belly with kimchi rice!!

It was very filling! However, I hope the pork belly was more tender. It was hard to chew. Nonetheless, taste was superb.

We also had Cookie Choux which is a plate of 5 giant cream puffs. I loved it but nothing beats their Molten Lava cake 10084

Vibe and place are A+++
