A place where you can have your own private space to do such things like : read, chat with a friend, nap ( lol ) nah! not really. 128514 Oh well, been here several times since my partner is from benilde. I used to spend hours waiting for her class dismissal while sleeping ( jk ). What makes this cafe special is that you can vandalize anywhere including ( Tables, Wallings & Stairs ) isnt cool? Lol my age says no but hell yeah, the kabataan nowadays find this rad! 128522 here's what i ordered today. 180 pesos - Oreo Chocolate blah blah which is good.

I love this place! This is so perfect for people who loves talking with their friends for long hours, there are many cubicles where you and your friends can stay and have the privacy. The travel java chip & travel vanilla oreo are one of their best sellers so we decided to try it out along with the travel sandwhich that taste so so so delicious!!!! 128077128077128077 the prices of the foods ranges to 100-180pesos. I would like to recommend this for everyone who loves going to Cafes and would like to try out new creative cafes!!! 128515

My boyfriend and I had our dessert here after a dinner date :) we want to dine somewhere private where we could chit chat and hang out.
there were few people since we went on a weekday at around 9-10pm already. The place is really huge and can accommodate a lot however the aircon is not cool enough so I don't encourage you to stay long. Their pastries/ cakes tastes normal, nothing special but their drinks and frappes were good. I liked the Green Tea Frappe. The price range is mid to expensive if you are a student.
I may go back if they'll have additional items on their menu.

We just finished taking our last final exam, so my friends and I decided to go to Taft and chill out. We were supposed to have our snack at Dairy Depot, but when we got there it was closed 128557 Then I opened Looloo and started searching for other desserts place. In front of Dairy Depot' is Cafe travel and we felt lazy to transfer to a different place so we ended up here.

We just ordered frappes and one friend of ours ordered a pastry I forgot the name but it has walnut on it.

Java Chip Frappe's okay. It's suitable for coffee lovers. You can really taste the coffee in it.

I ordered Vanilla Oreo Frappe. The whipped cream's too thick and sweet so it's a bit difficult to mix it. But all in all, the drink's delicious 128077🏼

Cafe Travel's a great place if you want to chill, watch a movie, or catch up with friends because you can stay there as long as you want but just make sure you have your order. They require at least one order per person. Their drinks cost 80-180 i guess 128517 They also have cakes and other pastries.

I love discovering new coffee places and one that has the most creative concept is Cafe Travel. It is the newest coffee shop in Taft.

The coffee shop has cubicles that gives their customer some privacy, best shared with friends or even just a date. Since it's near colleges and universities, it is the perfect place to chill and hangout and even study.

I really love the ambience of the place, makes you feel like at home. 9786

We grabbed some desserts at Cafe Travel, one of the talked about cafes in the area for its interiors. It's a Korean inspired coffee shop thus the cute layout. Really nice. 128526

I was not in the mood for some coffee-based drinks because it was a bit late already, so I settled with just a warm calamansi juice. It was just okay. Calamansi syrup was obviously used. I can do it at home 128514 pricey just for calamansi and water in a mug. 128557

My friends all liked their drinks. I just got a sip from each of them. 128516 Iced Mocha, Iced Cappuccino, Affoggato, Travel Green Tea, and Travel Dark Mocha (if i remember it right).

Special mention to the yummy dark chocolate cake. Not too sweet treat with the kind of texture I like with my cakes. 128077🏻

No matter where I go and whatever I may be doing, I'll always look for coffee 9749

Nothing beats an iced americano when you're groggy as hell but wanted a cold drink 128539

Another must visit Korean themed Café! If you want a cozy tambayan where you can lie down and relax for a while, this place is for you. You might also want to try some of their delightful, melt-in-your-mouth cheesecakes! I'm not a fan of cheesecakes but I liked their oreo, and blueberry cheesecake 128077. Their smoothies are great too, not too sweet and is fruity and creamy beacause they use real fruits! 127827 Their menu is a little bit pricey tho (150 php above), but it's definitely worth it 128521

This is one of my favorite places to just relax and chill. Cozy ambiance, covered with cute bittersweet post it notes everywhere. Whenever I got bored or needed a place to chill, study, or just be lazy all day, I always find myself coming here. Their drinks are just 150-200 and their oh so delicious cakes starts at 250! Ang bait pa ng staff nila. Kahit kelan di ako magsasawang bumalik dito. 128525

Such a pretty place! Hihi 128525

I also love their green tea latte 128154128154128154
Not so much with their green tea mousse cake (?) tho. It was soft but it was too sweet that made me feel like Im swallowing a whip cream 128533 We weren't able to finish it. Hehe

Prices were reasonable I think? Cute tables and cubicles haha yes, it's like you're literally in a legit korean resto where you are seated in a closed room except that it's not closed. You can also write on a sticky note, which they provide, and post it on their wall ( i think most cafes does that anyway) 128522

Great experience! 128077🏼

Cafe Travel is a perfect place where you can bond and dine with your friends where you can have long chitchats and etc. 128077

What I had was their Cherry Cheesecake which was somehow pricey for Php 180 if I'm not mistaken then had it partnered with Iced Chocolate Latte since I'm a non-coffee drinker.. 128513

The ambience was good in fact the place is much bigger and spacious than that of Noriter's. The crews were kind and welcoming. Its just that the price for their food and drinks are not that reasonable enough.. 128557 It would be much better and a lil much cheaper if I would just dine at SB. 128514

I noticed this place when i rode the lrt and passed through vito cruz station, i saw random wood joists on the glass wall and thought it was under construction so out of curiosity i went up and checked it out, upon entering this cafe you would see two rows of bunk like spaces with pillows for chairs and a small round table and inside each of the bunks are different arts made out of post it notes made by customers, i went here alone feeling bad i wasn't able to appreciate the theme with anyone haha talk about an introverted extrovert if you know what i mean 128518

Anyway, I tried their calamansi aid since i just had my breakfast and coffee. as you can see in the photo it was presented to look like its in a shaker, its sparkling water with calamansi concentrate in the bottom, it was refreshing 128523

Next time i come back here i'll try their coffee and cakes

It was because of a friend why we stumbled upon Cafe Travel. We went from Zarks Burger and want to enjoy a little taste of coffee before heading home.

The Place

It's located at the 2nd Floor of a building across La salle Taft where on the ground level lies Yellow Cab, Asian Bowl and Army Navy. Upon entering the cafe, you'd be amazed on the photos displayed on the entrance and photos hanging on a tree where you'll see much happy faces of customers that they are seemingly enjoying the venue. A Korean-inspired cafe, with about 40-50 cubicles or partitions with a single table and nothing but sitting pillows and a lying curtain to enjoy a little bit of privacy. It's a cool and cozy place to enjoy coffee and cakes together with your friends and most especially your loved ones. You may also post a note (provided you have your own pen and post-it notes) on the cubicles' walls for remembrance, just don't vandalize by writing on the wall.

The Drinks

There are plenty of choices to pick from. I ordered Hot Americano whilst my girlfriend wanted a Cold Caramel Macchiato. Since we just went from Zarks Burger, we didn't opt to order any pastries. They also offer smoothies and other drinks but no soda.

The Rules

Since it's a cubicle-type of Cafe (instead of tables and chairs), the cafe set some rules. Here's what I remembered,
a. One Order per Person
b. No foods from outside are allowed.
c. They are allowing max 3 hours for each customer to stay. If customers wishes to stay longer, they should buy another drink.
d. Pick your place before ordering. The drinks and pastries will be delivered to your table.

The Verdict

Definitely recommending this place for people who loves to just kill time and talk a lot with your friends about everything. You may also sleep if you want, no one will bother you. With a little sense of privacy being given, it's very tempting to do things people in a relationship would do but be observant for there are eyes around you. Their service crews are polite and always smiling so you never would be intimated by them. We were there from 8pm to 10:30pm and because there were less customers already, the crews would be just fooling, dancing around by the music they are playing which makes it a happy place with full of positive energy.
Giving this place 5 stars for delivering awesomeness!

It's awesome, ain't it? I wish I could attach more photos but you must check it out yourself to be more satisfied. :)

First of all, It was so hard to find! It was probably hard for me though because I'm a bit new around Taft. Nonetheless there was no signboard that said "Cafe Travel"!!

On the other hand, the cake was okay. Nothing spectacular. I was able to try the Blueberry Cheesecake.

I also tried the Caramel Latte. It was actually good coffee! But the taste isn't unique, but it's good.

People go here for the ambiance, to chill, chit and chat. The place was very cozy and pretty, there were a lot of throw pillows, perfect for chilling.

When you come inside, it looks like a home with a lot of bunk beds! Not even kidding. There are no chairs or tables, you sit on an elevated wooden platform that looks like a bed!

The concept of this place is very unique and very Instagram worthy. Definitely a place I'd come back to.

If you want a place where you can chit-chat and chill with your friends, then this is the perfect place to be! Every station has an outlet/plug to charge your gadgets which I really loved. Got their java chip frappe (loved the taste but did not love the price haha!) and red velvet cake (just fine. did not "love" it but it tasted okay). The place was spacious and the ambiance was great! I will definitely go back!

Java Chip Frappe - 4/5 (bc it costs 180! more expensive than SB frappes)
Red Velvet cake - 3/5
Ambiance- 5/5!!!!!!! (WITH EMPHASIS!!!) 128077🏼12852510084

After eating at Rap last night, my friends and I went to Cafe Travel, a block away from Rap. I've always wanted to try this cafe.

We ordered...

1. ICED VANILLA LATTE (P170) - This was my friend's drink so wasn't able to take a sip.

2. HOT CHOCO LATTE (P145) - This was my drink. A warm drink perfect for the rainy night. Nothing special. It tasted more like coffee than chocolate.

3. RED VELVET CAKE (P170) - The cake came with strawberry syrup. It was dry 128550 Again, there was nothing special with the taste. Your typical red velvet cake.

4. DARK CHOCOLATE CAKE (P170) - It didn't taste like dark chocolate at all. Removing the dark in dark choco cake would be a more suitable name. But then, this was moist so 128077🏻

5. NEW YORK CHEESECAKE (P170) - For me, this was the best among the cakes we ordered. It didn't taste too cheesy. I rarely eat cheesecakes because most of the time, the cheese flavor dominates the other flavors of the cake. It was also moist 128077🏻 But then, the cake was so tiny. It can fit on the palm of my hand, and my hands are very tiny.

The ambience was so-so. If you have small pieces of paper with you, you can post messages on the wall. The cafe comes with small cubicles. The cubicles at the first floor have semi-curtains for privacy. (But I don't need to mention the downside of this lol we witnessed this firsthand 128534128584) We took a cubicle on the second floor. The cubicles have a low ceiling, low tables, and crash pillows (no chairs, you sit on the floor), giving you the homey feel.

The waiters and waitresses were very friendly and accommodating to our requests 128077🏻 Speedy service, too. However, a waiter served as a wrong drink, and it took him ~10 minutes to realize his mistake. It was a good thing that we waited for all our food to arrive before eating. The floor where we sat and the tables we used were not squeaky clean, but it'll do.

Overall, the food was very pricey. The cakes in SB/CBTL are cheaper, but more delicious and come in bigger servings. Great for get togethers, but not recommended for your everyday coffee shop.
