was looking for some desserts after my meal at Hokusai. been hearing about this place so i went in the moment i saw it while walking, supposedly going for Mang Tootz's banana rhuma.

A rustic and basic feel inside the cafe, with a lot of students studying for their exams. they have a second floor, not sure if there's a third, and i think the space is good. had a glimpse of the second floor and a lot of chairs and tables were there.

they have a big cake ref showcasing their cake slices and mini cakes. i had a difficult time choosing which one to order so i just ended up asking for their bestseller and ordering it.

Red velvet cheesecake it is!

A big slice for 145 bucks. Good catch! Cake was an okay for me. I think they shouldn't call it a cheesecake since only a thin layer of cheesecake is inside. It's more of a red velvet cake with cheese filling. Cake was dense, i'd suggest sharing a slice with a friend. sweetness an okay for me. a good cake in general. 128077🏻

fun that the servers are dressed up UK style.

place was quite dark though. i think i'll be sleepy when i'm facing my books in this kind of lighting 128517

Wifi is stable and fast. Around 4mbps as per speedtest. 128514

A very nice cafe! Well, foods are a little bit pricey but the portions (which can serve 1-2 persons) and the taste is really worth it :) Plus, you can play with the Ipads inside the tables! They also have a good connection! (Not really sure but I think the speed of connections is 10mpbs). Don't get addicted to their cakes and frappes!! :)

White Mocha Grande for the night. Coffee price is around the same range as Starbucks' but I find their coffee stronger. They also have pastas, sandwiches, and a variety of cakes available. It is a 24-hour cafe but by 4am customers need to stay outdoors as they need to clean. Air conditioning isn't full blast and it's even cooler inside their comfort room. The cafe has 3 floors but they rarely open the 3rd floor. I was told that they only open it when there aren't tables available but as I've frequented this cafe for the past week, I haven't seen the 3F open. Lighting here is better than Kivhan's. They have high speed internet although I've always experienced downtime during my visits. The place has generous outlets for laptop and other gadgets to be charged. What bothered me and my friends are the big and numerous mosquitos at the 2nd floor especially at night! We couldn't stay so late to take advantage of their operational hours as the mosquitos appear at night. Oftentimes the person at the cash registry is inattentive, making you repeat your order several times before she puts it into the system.

Decided to meet up with a friend after work and we wanted to meet "in the middle" and that middle was somewhere along España. Unfortunately, almost every place we went to that evening was packed. Luckily, we chanced upon this cafe after a bit of walking.

We go in and realize it has like three floors I think and is open all day every day! Great for students looking to pull an all-nighter. There were already a lot of people inside when we went but we were able to secure a table on the second floor. First thing I noticed upon entering was a bunch of chillers displaying various cakes and cheesecake flavors. There appeared to be a lot including a blue velvet cake, a smores cake, a Toblerone cake, an Oreo cheesecake, etc. I made a mental note to check out at least one after eating something savory. You first order at the counter and they then bring your food up to you. Their menu consists of a whole bunch of stuff including paninis, pastas, salads, nachos, etc. apart from their drinks. Prices are in the near 200 peso or more range. They might seem a bit high at first but they're apparently good for sharing. 128517 Although, they do take a bit of time to prepare your orders. My tummy was really rumbling by the time our orders got to us.

127838127859 Since I was feeling really hungry at the time, I settled on their all-day breakfast (220 pesos). It came with like a bunch of toasted wheat bread slices, ham, bacon, eggs and sausages. My friend ordered the same thing and in retrospect, one plate would've been just right for both of us. We barely finished our meals (which were huge!!) Everything tasted pretty ordinary, although yeah, big servings.

🧀 We also got their nachos (290 pesos) and my goodness it was a huuuuge plate as well! Enough for about 4-5 people to share in my opinion. Naturally, we didn't finish this either and had to take out the leftovers. It came with all the good stuff-beef, cheese, salsa, olives, mushrooms.

127865 Lastly, I got their mango banana smoothie which was made with yoghurt in a 12oz cup (140 pesos). This tasted weird at first then it became kind of an acquired taste before ultimately being too cloying towards the end of the cup haha.

After our meal, I was too full to sample any of their cakes or cheesecakes. But they did look really nice. Maybe I'll try next time.

If I'd base my Review according to how this Cheesecake tastes...128533

Sorry, I heard that the place looks nice and that they have a variety of food selections, but this one that we received as Pasalubong is a total meh!

They used Cheddar cheese and the cream on top tastes cheap din. 9996🏽️

One of my favorite place to hang out with my friends when I was still in college. The first thing that you'll notice is the variaties of cakes to choose from and lots of Arizona products too. They have good frappes (coffee or milk based) and their coffee are the same price sa SB but the serving is okay. You should also try their pastas, their chicken pesto and carbonara are absolutely yummy, it comes their version on paninis. They also serve some big serving of nachos for sharing and friends to dig in but the downside is that it doesn't have much toppings on in. The place is cool and chic with ipads on their tables and the service is quice as the servers are attentive and friendly. A perfect place to chill, review, make "kwentuhan" and even date.

Me and my friend visited our Alma Mater earlier this month. The night before I googled new restaurants to try around the area. Cafe UK was the most interesting since it's "25/7" lol and it's a new coffee shop. I knew I'll be needing my coffee within the day so we decided to give it a go.

The place was beside the ever famous Rockband at P. Noval. It has 2 floors that can easily accomodate students (and alumni lol) plus tables outside. Inside, I was surprised to see 3 huge refrigerators beside the counter with all these deserts and drinks but I sadly had to resist. Looks (and I bet tastes) good I might say pero mukhang pricey kasi ang liit nung cake tapos may per slice pa? Kaloka. They had a wide range ng drinks like different canned Arizona Teas and imported flavored softdrinks.

Anyway I ordered I think Caramel Macchiato which tastes stronger than the one at Starbucks. I think it was roughly over 150 pesos but not over 200. The place was really cozy. Perfect for those who wanted to chill with a couple of friends or for those who wants to study on their own. The bathroom was clean also. Plus the tables had individual IPADs (with wifi) installed to it that you can use as long as you're seated inside. Insane! 128588🏻

As what the motto of the cafe is "25/7" hahaha we go here every paper week to spend our night writing for a paper work or thesis. Their drinks are cool I loved the blueberry frappe hahaha tho its kinda pricey. Their cakes slices are awesome too!! 128516 but the reason why thomasians loved uk is that they are open the whole night hahaha looloo spot!!

A place to go when you need to catch up with a friend or study. But I usually stay here to study because it is open 24 hours... Downside is after 4 am you'll have to stay outside because they need to do some routines inside. Quite plenty of seats so you won't probably wait long for you to be seated.

Price is good, almost the same with sb and cbtl. My favourite drink is iced macchiato, usually goes well with the biscoff cake or creamy alfredo + panini. Pastas are a bit expense bc they come with a generous serving of panini.

The crew were accommodating and friendly. In fact, whenever I wait for the perfect spot, I have conversations with them. So, i can really say that they're approachable and not the rude type. 128076🏻

The ambiance is great and every food was worth it! Must try everything in their menu... Must try their new cheesy marble potatoes. Fell inlove with it! They also provide high customer satisfaction. Totally a great place to study, watch movies, and hang out with friends.

My two favorite desserts in one!!!! Chocolate moist cheesecake128536 (php140) chocolatey, moist and less umay factor because the cake itself is not too sweet and it complements well with cheesecake in the middle. My friend tried Pesto (php185) so sulit good for sharing, fresh basil in olive oil.

My ultimate favorite Café-UK signature salad! I really love how the ingredients and flavors compliment each other and the dressing doesn't overpower the whole thing as well. So good! The baristas were also very respectful and willing to help so plus points for that. :)

I'm not much of a fan of carrot cakes but Café UK's definitely converted me! Loved their caramel macchiato as well. Perfect pairing. :) Their pastas looked good and filling too. Might try them next time.

We went here quite a bit late to pull up an all-nighter and were surprised how packed it was still but, nonetheless, we were able to find good seats. Actually, it was their very accommodating servers who fished out seats for us. Haha! We stayed here until 6am, studying and gorging ourselves with their yummy pastas. But at about 4 am, we were asked to transfer outside because they had to do their daily rounds of maintenance. We really didn't mind since knowing that they take time outs to clean and disinfect the place made us relieved that what they're serving are all clean.
