CafeFrance's chicken pie. It's a bit oily but tastes great. Made of premium and quality ingredients. We always go to CafeFrance to have a light meal or coffee. Since it's inside Cardinal Santos Medical Center, that's why when we visit the hospital, we always visit CafeFrance before coming home. It's on the way going to the parking area.

I also love their croquette. Try it! It doesn't disappoint. 128077

Their mini RV Cupcakes weren't too catchy. The cream cheese was too thick that you could even chew. Overall, It was okay 110881108811088

CafeFrance's Double Cheese Honey Puffs. Mini puff pastries stuffed with cheese and coated with a thin sugar glaze. Yummy mini flakey-crispy cheesy snacks that definitely hit that cheese-craving spot. Not bad for 35 bucks.

The Adelle set meal : a savory and hearty set meal from their Tray Couture selection. California Chicken Clubhouse Sandwich (half a sandwich), savory Garlic Pesto Pasta, served with Cream of Potato and Celery Soup, Beverage, and a Chocolate Bonbon.

Ive tried their Pierre set (seafood clubhouse with shrimp pesto pasta) in the past and liked it. This visit, I wanted something with white meat.

The California Chicken Clubhouse, even if it were half a sandwich, was huge. The downside, the chicken was over cooked thus was too tough. It also lacked seasoning and flavor. A few sprinkling of salt and pepper did not help. The Garlic Pesto Pasta was good and savory. The Cream of Potato and Celery Soup was also tasty.

Will stick to the Pierre set next time or perhaps try the Marguerite set (clubhouse sandwich with shrimp pesto pasta).

CafeFrance's Pierre from their Tray Couture menu selection. A Complete meal consisting of their Seafood Deluxe Clubhouse & Seafood Marinara. Served with a "double-shot glass" of soup of the day (cream of mushroom) with mini garlic knot bread, dessert ( chocolate-orange bonbon), and choice of drink (lemon iced tea). For php 280, not bad for a good, savory, hearty complete meal.

After visiting a friend who just gave birth at Cardinal Santos Hospital, we decided to kill some traffic time (Wilson st was a standstill ) and grab some eats. CafeFrance was our choice. Enjoyed my choice of dish so much ('twas my first time to try their set meals). The Pierre selection was good complete eats!

The cream of mushroom, was nicely chunky and flavorful. Tasted nicely creamy yet earthy and slightly pungent from the mushroom bits. Nice double-shot glass serving that went well with a another shot glass that served a few sticks of mini garlic knot sticks- crunchy garlicky dough bits that held well either dipped in the soup or nice with a slurp of the soup.

The Seafood Deluxe Clubhouse was half -a -serving-size of their take on a seafood clubhouse. Hefty, layered whole wheat slices packed with a creamy tangy-lightly sweet shredded kani salad, a ham slice, crunchy bacon strips, nice fluffy omelet, fresh crisp lettuce, and a couple of succulent -sweet-tarty red tomato slices.

The sandwich was plated with a good solo size serving of Seafood Marinara-- it was basically a Shrimp Pesto Linguini Pasta Dish. It looked too oily at first. But I did enjoy the olive oil and pesto sauce that held the flavors of the shrimp , garlic, and Parmesan. The peeled shrimps- plump, nicely sautéed, flavorful--garlicky and freshly sweet, generous in serving, nicely chewy. The slightly thick Linguini pasta was al dente and perfectly held the richness and pungent pesto flavors of the sauce.

The sandwich and pasta indeed worked well! Paired with a tall glass of their blend of Lemon Ice Tea, pretty much was good balance to somewhat cut the rich and slightly pungent flavors of the pasta dish.

Dessert was a small but packed bonbon. Semi-sweet chocolate infused with a nice orange essence. Serving size was just right as a sweet-bitter -citrusy ending to a good, filling, flavorful meal.

Good and filling menu pairing that's right to the buck from CafeFrance. Highly recommended to foodies looking for a complete, rustic, and hearty combi meal of sandwich and pasta.

My friend got their Pizza Bread and Lemon Curd Cronut. The Pizza Bread was not bad. Savory , sweet, and Cheesy with nice ham and pineapple bits. Their Lemon Curd Cronut was also good! CafeFrance's Cronut take was the "less-oilier", flakier kind. I liked the lemon curd cream and glaze. It wasn't overwhelmingly tarty nor sweet. But rather pleasant to the sweet-tarty taste. A good alternative to quickly satisfy a Cronut craving.

Got me pretty curious about their other Tray Couture menu dishes--all being complete meal combinations. Will do try the others given the chance to visit another CafeFrance branch again.

Cafe France has an array of yummy treats to satisfy a hungry tummy anytime of the day. I visited yesterday and tried their Red Velvet Cupcake.

This is technically my very first Red Velvet Cupcake indulgence, so I can't really say whether or not it's the best I've tried.

Anyway, what I can say is that, it's not bad for a cupcake. Everyone seems to enjoy Red Velvet Cupcakes covered with lovely swirls of Cream Cheese Frosting. So I absolutely love the cream cheese, it's the right mix of sweet and tangy. I do love the fact that this cupcake isn't too sweet. Although, I would've wanted it to be more creamy than solid.

I already forgot how much this is, but if my memory serves me right, it costs Php 55.

How about you? What's your take on Red Velvet Cupcakes?

Red Velvet Cupcake from CafeFrance. Small moist cupcakes topped with a light , whipped, lightly tangy and sweet cream cheese frosting.

I dropped by this branch to buy some savory breads as "pasalubong" for a good friend who gave birth at Cardinal Santos. Was pleasantly surprised to see that they had these red velvets. Apparently, Cafe France had joined the red velvet cupcake bandwagon.

Too good to resist, I sampled a piece.

The size is smaller than the other brands.Php 55 a pop. But I liked the firm yet moist texture of their cupcake. It did have that faint cocoa flavor that worked well. Moreso, I enjoyed this with the sweet and lightly tangy frosting. It wasn't overly sweet, was lightly whipped, creamy, and worked well with the cupcake. It wasn't nakaka-umay ( I'm not a fan of frosting drowned in confectioner's sugar).

The server said that this has been in their menu for a long time now.

Recommended to people who still enjoy good red velvet cupcakes.

Coffee bun and a cup of joe before attending the mass at the Cardinal Santos Chapel.

Place is great even if it is just beside the parking :)
