I am loving CafeFrance's Quatre Fromages Roll. Quite appropriately, a cheese lover's perfect pastry. Pillow soft brioche with 4 types of cheeses. The pastry is stuffed with a yummy mix of cream cheese , Brie cheese, and quick melt. Then the roll is topped with a smudge of whipped butter, a sprinkling of sugar, and grated Parmesan Cheese.

Perhaps a "premium" pastry from CafeFrance. These cheesy pastries are baked fresh daily and sold by the box (sadly they don't sell it by the piece). A box of 6 comes at Php 360. Even the packaging is different from their usual breads and pastries.

Quite honestly, in my opinion, I think this pastry is a "cheesier" good alternative to Mary Grace's.

CafeFrance's Quatre Fromages Roll comes highly recommended to foodies who enjoy Cheese Rolls.

Crispy wafer-cookie goodness from CafeFrance's Chocolate Espresso Tuile Cookies and Almond Tuile Cookies.

Though I have a preference for thick, chewy, fudgey, cookies, I must say that I'm liking these new sweets from CafeFrance.

Quite curious, I looked up what Tuile cookies were. These are French wafer pastries commonly used as dessert garnishing. Literally meaning "tiles", these wafers are made to resemble French roof tiles. Somewhat similar to but thinner than our Lengua de Gato.

CafeFrance's take looked thicker (they resembled the Belgian Chocolate Lace Cookies that I love from Blue Kitchen) because the Tuile cookies were used to sandwich a thin spread of chocolate ganache. Resulting to a yummy, crispy, delicate thin cookie pastry.

The Chocolate Espresso Tuile: two dark chocolate Tuile cookies used to sandwich a smudging of chocolate ganache. Topped with crushed Espresso Bits (Espresso ground coffee coated with dark chocolate). The espresso bits gave the cookie a nice caffeine kick.

The Almond Tuile: two vanilla Tuile cookies used to sandwich a smudging of chocolate ganache. Topped with shaved almonds, resulting to a nice vanilla -nutty crisp cookie with a chocolate surprise in the middle.

These cookie crisps tasted even better with a cup of coffee.

I also liked the nice tin cans that these Tuile Cookies were packed in. A somewhat fancy tasting, fancy looking , affordable treat. Available in two sizes priced between 95-180 each.

CafeFrance's new hybrid pastry: the CROFFEE. It's a pastry that marries the usual croissant and a sweet cafe latte.

I am liking the pastry. Simply a croissant , marbled with a sweet coffee syrup inside, then covered with a thin crunchy mocha glaze/shell and drizzled with espresso syrup.

It's not as buttery as the usual croissant BUT, I'm liking the rich coffee-cream sweet kick that this pastry has to offer. Right level of sweetness and expect the nice caffeine buzz after eating the pastry.

Best eaten warmed for about a few seconds in a microwave. The first piece, I tried straight up and found it a tad bit too hard to the bite. But after popping the pastry into a microwave for about 15 seconds, the tough mocha shell nicely melted a bit yet retained its crunch.

Recommended to sweet-tooth foodies who enjoy coffee based pastries.

So my mom wanted me to try this place for quite some time because they usually eat here with my sister. And luckily, due to they always have work, we manage to have our breakfast here. And I can say that the place is very nice, refreshing to the eyes and very clean. It is very cold when we got there but it was fine. Overall I like the place because it has a healthy-lifestyle feel plus the quality of their foods.

So I ordered four seasons, seafood marinara and beef and mushroom:

Four seasons - it is very refreshing though I like it very sweet but the sweetness is just right. The price is just right for its serving.

Seafood marina - "The shrimp is cooked perfectly, not so raw and not so over cooked" base on my sister.
And yes, the shrimp is really superb especially the marinara sauce which is very tasty and fresh plus the french bread. I can say that this is a must try. Yummy! :))

Beef and mushroom - what I like about this is the sauce because it is very flavorful plus it has lots of mushroom. The rice is served nicely because i like the not-so-dry texture on my rice. And the vegetable is okay and very fresh.

Croque Monsieur from Cafe France. I liked their French ham and cheese sandwich. Nothing fancy in their variation but rather a straightforward rendition of a filling flavorful cheesy sandwich (with a yummy creamy cheese sauce with melted grated cheese over two white bread slices stuffed with a ham slice). Not bad for 99. For added protein, you can have them add a fried egg for an instant Croque Madame (additional 15). A perfect cheesy-ham sandwich choice for a filling savory breakfast, or lunch, or snack for foodies who enjoy some savory cheesy sandwiches.

CafeFrance's Espresso Boosters. Crunchy ground espresso bean bits covered with dark chocolate. A handy instant espresso/dark chocolate fix.

Finally was able to get a bottle. I liked the strong espresso crunch from grounded coffee beans coupled with the bittersweet chocolate covering. Even if ground roasts were used, the boosters weren't bitter. Reminiscent and similar to Meiji's Coffee Beat (a coffee candy I enjoyed many years ago ).

I checked the bottle and this is how CafeFrance describes this: "Metabolism boosting coffee beans, roasted to perfection, grounded then covered in rich antioxidant packed dark chocolate. 100% All Natural"

I'm no doctor nor nutritionist, but I recall reading a health article stating that natural foods and herbs that increase a person's metabolism, also promotes weight loss.

These boosters were packed in a small bottle nifty for bringing anywhere. A bottle (php 99) has about 30 pieces.

I first came across this when I was in a long road trip with some friends. I was driving and got a bit sleepy. Someone pulled the bottle out of her bag and gave me two pieces of this. Instant alertness !

Of course nothing can beat a demitasse of honest-to-goodness freshly pressed espresso. BUT, I like the niftiness and convenience of this instant natural upper. Perhaps great for some quick energy boost during classes, a meeting, at work, or while driving. Personally , a piece or two works with me. A few pieces more...hmmm... unless you're strong enough to withstand a possible heart palpitation from the 100% ground coffee beans.128541

The moment i entered Cafe France all i could say was "This place needs legit cleaning" It was so dirty. Lots of table were available, but it was filled with trash, used plates and bread crumbs... Including the chairs. It was really disappointing. It was pretty obvious that they lacked people, but they should atleast pay attention to the sanitation of their place. Umalis na kami't lahat hindi pa din nila nalilinis yung mga kalat na nandun 128553

Well, anyway.. The food.
We ordered their Carbonara, which was okay. I've had better. I loved their garlic bread though! Yayyy. One good thing.... Lol! Hmm, we also ordered their Clubhouse Sandwich, and it was good. It went great with the chips! Whoop. And lastly, their cronut (Wait, did i spell it right? I'm sorry i don't know. Lol). Okay, all i can say is... Waste of money.

The verdict... 128078

after a bad experience with dunkin's donut croissant i felt like I need to try other versions of this popular pastry.

earlier i saw this very big sign of French donuts with its picture (obviously its the cronut), so I got one, the salted caramel.

it smelled so yummy, cute but not so appetizing cause I can feel the weight of the oil shining. but am so hard headed that I still sinked my teeth on it. that first bite nasabi ko talaga na "wow this is a croissant". then bite after bite I really felt the oiliness, the pastry was creamy but couldn't really distinguish the taste. one bite tasted so salty then next was very sweet then salty again then sweet again. oh common make up your mind taste buds!

this wouldn't make me come back at all.

Im truly sorry for the photo, it had its struggle for sometime in my backpack. This would be their version of cronuts and they call it french donuts, for P99 a piece they have chocolate, salted caramel and another which i couldnt remember, to play it safe i ordered chocolate, i do not know what type of chololate was used it tasted weird, first bite and i could feel oil seeping out of it, i really am not sure if it should be that oily.
