This is a late post. This is the breakfast deluxe which comes with a cup of coffee and your choice of bread. The servers must have been distracted because my whole wheat bread somehow became. Croissant instead :P. Also, had to change tables after niece and nephew discovers a dead dried out house lizard underneath a chair cushion. @_@

Took the opportunity to teach niece and nephew about the value of money and they realized they couldn't purchase anything without pooling their money together (which totaled 100 pesos)

Staff was accommodating considering they had to count out 95 pesos in change.

Service however, moved at a glacial pace. Almost 10 to 15 minutes of waiting for our order.

Actually still waiting until now

Crispy Bacon breakfast set. All you need to know it has bacon.

PS As per a French guest we had last year, this place is so not French. They were appalled at the croissants

My mom has been bugging me to join her eat out for breakfast for quite some time now and I actually failed to make her “dream” come true during Mother’s Day simply because I was still so sore from the CS Manila Scramble that literally messed up my muscles and turned my skin red! But since her birthday wasn’t far off, we decided to have breakfast at Café France on her special day.

Yawn! We all woke up at 5 a.m. to have ample time to prepare for breakfast. They all had to adjust to my time as I was the lone person who had to head back at 9 a.m. since I have work.

We arrived at the Greenhills branch of Café France around 7:00 a.m. and ordered some breakfast trays—Breakfast Deluxe (PHP260) for my mom and grandmother, a half Premiere Club Sandwich for my sister, and a Crispy Bacon and Egg tray (PHP250) for me. For the breakfast trays, we have an option to change brewed coffee to hot chocolate and since coffee makes me sleepy, I opted for hot chocolate.

I was still very sleepy then till the server placed the breakfast trays on our table. The plating was wonderful. It was like it was lifted from a food magazine. It was so homey, warm, and just so… breakfast in bed without the bed style (now I know what I want for my birthday next year… fine one of the things I want!).

Wooden trays, a little flower to brighten things up, a basket to hold the croissant, pretty!

Taste-wise, the dishes were nothing outstanding. The ham tastes typical, same goes for the bacon which was not as crispy as I thought. The eggs though were delightful. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and the sunny side up was so good that I finished both! The croissant was soft but so messy to eat though.

I wasn’t able to take a photo of my sister’s sandwich as I couldn’t mess with her in the morning if I value my life. But I assume that it was good as a complainer like her did not utter a single word about her sandwich. She did take my little glass of juice though which she said tasted like Minute Maid.

Overall, the food wasn’t extraordinary but the experience of eating breakfast off a cute tray was refreshing. I never thought that eating bacon, eggs, and bread would be so… luxurious. :)

This place had always been our Sunday coffee hang out after an early mass at St. Claire...
I normally order the Spanish sardines omelette but i needed something different today...
Hello crispy bacon strips & egg! The breakfast tray has always been an energy booster for only Php 285.
You may also want to try the Kroffee - Php 120 for 3 pieces
I've always liked their other pastries too and oh, don't go home without buying a small bottle of their coffee booster.

Good place to start a chill Sunday :)

Our family's favorite cafe ever since I was little. Now I was with my boyfriend and we ate some chunky chicken (php200 with juice/coffee) and spaghetti carbonara (php145). Nothing changed!! It's still tasty and super satisfying!! :] will definitely come back for more.

Since this branch of CafeFrance is right next to a Jollibee, expect parking to be scarce around lunchtime especially if Jollibee has a kiddie party going on.

My sister had the beef stroganoff with rice while I had the beef lasagna for lunch. The common theme of the two dishes aside from the beef was that both were very salty. The lasagna also suffered from being overlooked especially along the edges which made the noodles rubbery and tough to chew.

And since the day is sweltering, the AC is not fully capable of keeping the premises cool. Minus points also for a few flies that were buzzing about. (Breads on display were covered adequately so no need to worry about that)

Delightful breakfast! Croissant breads are rightfully flaky and buttery, a perfect match to a cup of coffee in a cold morning.128522

Breakfast deluxe to destress this early in the morning. This branch gets a bit busy with families having Sunday breakfasts out so stay away if you want a quiet corner to while away the time. And about the breakfast deluxe, it isn't as spectacular as I remembered it but it'll do.

I used to like it a lot here when it was still named DeliFrance and thought they have great sandwiches and pasta! Although the serving size was quite too small for my liking, I really liked their pesto pasta that was served with a set meal.

Mr.Lee loves sandwiches so we decided to go back after so long.

I ordered the Chicken Carbonara Pasta and he got the Shrimp Pesto Pasta and we decided to share the Seafood Linguine.

Both our pasta orders were not satisfying and thought was just meh. Small servings combined with simple tastes that I can easily prepare at home.

But! We both enjoyed the Seafood Linguine. We both love seafood and it had a comforting broth with bits of seafood. Not bad at all.
