Left the office too early and so I wasn't able to have breakfast. So, our supplier brought me here to energize!

We both ordered corned beef meal. It's very filling -but, overall it was just ordinary.

Fair service.

Spanish sardine sandwich. One of our faves at CafeFrance. One funny thing though is that they serve potato chips only when you add drinks to the sandwich. #potatolover pa naman ako.

On one of the impromptu Tagaytay trips we had, we started the road on a very empty stomach, so we decided to grab some light snacks on the way so not to spoil the bulalo and crispy tawilis that awaits us.

we dropped by at the shell gasoline station and saw cafe france was having their buy one take one promo, (this promo was for january), but then it was only for fridays :(

I grabbed a coffee bun and a shepherds pie croissant for boyfie. I thought they would give a good interpretation for a coffee bun but sad to say there version is nothing compared to the real thing (singaporean's best and kopiroti). with the price of 65pesos a bun I guess it isn't worth the money at all. the coffee flavor was only on the outer sugar layer which covers a plain white bun, good thing it was moist so there was not a lot of disappointment.

luckily boyfie wasn't really into the shepherd's pie because of the messy flakes from the croissant, so he left mostly half of it to me. it was flaky alright, good crunch on every bite and the filling was generous and I love the hit of little spicy kick to it. not too salty but it's horribly oily.

a good filler but to get the best experience with their bread make sure to have them heat it especially when you plan to munch on it on an empty stomach.

bought the last 2 cronuts left at the SLEX branch. Salted Caramel was okay and too sweet for me. I liked the chocolate cronut.

We were heading south and wanted to grab some chows so we stopped by shell.

We ordered Egg Salad Sandwich and Tuna Onion both in croissant bread. The Egg Salad had the average egg sandwich taste but was delicious.

While I was paying for our orders, a tray of donuts were being filled with chocolate. I asked if they were cronuts and I was so happy when the crew said YES! I tried the Chocolate, Lemon Custard and Salted Caramel variants.

I liked the Salted Caramel but I think it's too sweet. On the other hand, the Lemon Custard had a strong citrus taste that I really didn't like. Among the three, I will definitely come back for the Chocalate Cronut. It was flaky and delicious!

I still want to try Wildflour's..
