Cafe Pascucci was a last minute choice as most coffee shops in Glorietta were either about to close or super full.

Since I am not familiar with their menu, I asked the barista for recommendations. I told him I wanted coffee but I wanted it with a hint of sweetness so he let me chose between Paspuccio (caramel) or Hot Mocha. I went with the former since I’m fan of anything caramel. While I was waiting for my order, I noticed that they had a few food offerings (pastries and cakes) but it looked plain to me. I didn’t see a customer who ordered any pastry so it might not be good.

When the barista gave me my order, it came in a very small cup. I was surprised by the size since I paid around 125 pesos for it. To give you an idea, I think it’s in between the short and tall cups of Starbucks or it’s similar to 7-11’s smallest coffee size. I didn’t drink it right away because I have this weird habit that my first coffee sip will always be without the lid. To me, the “heat” is more tolerable vs. the one with it. My tongue gets easily burned if I drink it with lid. Anyway, when I open the lid, I was (again) surprised with the amount of caramel drizzle on top. (See photo!) While I had the “hint” of sweetness in my coffee with the caramel drizzle, the coffee tasted the same. I didn’t taste anything special in it. I would much prefer Starbucks (fast food) coffee.

The interiors of the place was also a bit dark and gloomy. The first floor was dark and gloomy but the second floor screams everything red. The ambiance of the place makes it a good venue to study/read/work but not sure if you’ll stay long enough to tolerate the coffee (and maybe even the food).

Good and quiet hideout. As in really quiet, since everyone seemed like whispering in here because of the dimlight ambiance.

I had their Sparkling Ginger Soda, which is quite refreshing.

This a Comfy place to meet up with your barkada, do work or have a little cofee date.It was my first time here last Friday so I was able to try one drink. It was the Confuso (Ice Blended Drink). It tasted okay cause It's not to sweet and not too strong. Me and my friends also tried their cakes we had the Chocolate cake and the White forest. They do not taste too sweet but I didnt like the consistency of the cake, it's not moist as compared to other cakes that i liked. The menu is detailed like what's in your drink so that's a good thing for a first timer like me. Overall, it was okay. I still see myself going back here to try other food and drinks that they offer. 128515

We were looking for a place to hold a private meeting and our partner suggested this place. When we got there, found the private space reserved for us. It's a small room separated from the rest of the place with glass panels. Found out that apparently you can just reserve the place and there's no minimum order required. My only issue with the room was that it has no outlet in it so there were several times wherein we had to go out to charge. They also didn't have any extension cords available for rent. A bit if a hassle but not something a little preparation can't fix.

I ordered an iced mocha drink which i liked very much. They didn't have any meals but saw their desserts, which seem very interesting. Will most likely try them when i go back. :)

That's it for now. A nice and cozy place :) will most likely go back if i find myself in the makati area again.

So sleepy and had time to kill before meeting up with hubby so I searched for a coffee place that wasn't so mainstream.

The Iced Mocha had just the right mixture of sweetness and bitterness. Liked the saying on the cup which was also on some of the walls.

The Dark Chocolate Mousse was rich and heavy. I didn't expect it to be that big.

I brought home a Chocolate Muffin for hubby and he liked it.

I opted to stay on the second floor which was brighter and cheery. The seats were comfortable. I wish the aircon was a bit stronger though.

I can see myself hanging out with my friends here or enjoying some me time.

Classic chocolate cake was good. Pascucci coffee which has caramel like web on top of whipped cream was just ok. Net is slow but overall its not bad at all. 128522

I've passed by this cafe before but never got around to trying it until tonight. I'm still a little hangover on the iced coffee of Vietnam because of my recent trip there so I ordered Iced Mocha (PHP145). Surprisingly, it's really good. You know how the flavor is sometimes lost beneath those ice, not the same story on this one. The taste remains bold down to the bottom of the glass. Unfortunately, it was not the same with the Caramel Pascucci, it was bland.

The place's interior is cool, I totally dig those art on the walls.

Caffe Pascucci is an Italian coffeehouse chain which finally came in Manila! It is located at Glorietta 2, G/F Glorietta 2, Palm Dr, Ayala Center, Makati. My bestfriend and I always wanted to try this but never seems to have the chance since we’re both busy, but finallyyyy! After weeks of planning. :P We tried their bestseller: Fraspuccio Confusio & Iced Mocha Double

Rain was a lil over the top last night. The process of precipitation is still at work at around 9 pm. After walking around in Glorietta, we decided to get some tea. Yes, not coffee, Geri and I have the same mission in life - break-up with Coffee.

This is my second visit, first time was ages ago. And yes, it's still the dynamic duo trying out Pascucci's coffee (The former being me and Geri). We ordered caffeine free tea. Got a berry infused fruit tea and chamomile for Geri.

The interior is well designed, black and red is always a good color combination. Haven't seen the second level though. For some reason, we always stay downstairs at the same spot. Anyway, the tea is good. Aromatic with subtle fruity flavor. Perfect drink when one needs to relax. Geri said the chamomile is good too, cheap for php 120 per cup. She cant get over the fact that they misspelled Chamomile on their menu. Nyahahaha. Spelling police anyone?

One thing they need to improve on is the cleanliness of the loo and the background music. Smooth jazz over a cup of joe is a wicked pairing.

Caffe Pascucci Shop's a chill place. My friends and I went here for coffee after watching Furious7. I had the Fraspuccio Confuso (?), I thought it was gonna be too sweet but I could still taste the coffee so it was just right. Too chill of a place, we ended up staying there for 2-3 hours just talking and drinking our coffees. 128514

Very nice ambiance though the aircon is not that cold. The staff was warm and friendly, able to answer queries.

After having a nice dinner at Old Manila, we decided to cap the night by having some pastries at Café Pascucci. One of my friends suggested this place so we checked it out instead of going to Burgos Circle.

We only got 2 slices of cake such as the Belgian Chocolate Cheesecake & the Puccini. I got a hot cup of Chamomile tea while others tried coffee.

Puccini is one of their best-seller and thought it was good. The texture was soft especially the base part, while the top was like jelly-ish that's also powdery. My friends didn't like the top part mainly because it's too fluffy, but the taste was good for me though. Sort of a "sleeper", I would say.

Belgian Chocolate Cheesecake was everyone's favorite. The taste was incredibly good, without a doubt. The cake was dense but the texture wasn't that firm. Although it wasn't that soft, everybody loves it!

We liked the look of the place as well as the service. Would like to go back to try their muffins.

I could study here for a little bit. No crowd, quiet, music isn't super loud. The wall is laden with loud colors and the chairs are bright red; I prefer more subdued colors for my study environments, but it's all personal preference. As a social establishment or chill lounge it works.

The Pascuccio I had was good. Not overly sweetened, and it didn't have a bitter or burnt finish like some other coffee spots.

I wasn't blown away, but everything about this place was acceptable.
