Truffle pasta with Parma and stewed lamb shank for the win!

Good food on a Friday night. Truffle pasta had generous amounts of fresh mushroom and melt in your mouth Parma ham.

Lamb was fall off the bone and came with super yummy mashed po (might have been infused with cheese or garlic - I can't tell)

Basta masaraaaap!

I hadn't been to Puccini in four years, which is sad because it was one of my family's favorite restaurants for so long. And when we revisited it in January of this year one of the waitresses said, "Diba dati pa kayo dito, ma'am?" Can't believe she remembered our faces after FOUR YEARS, but I guess that just attests to how often we'd eat there. Hahaha! 128556

Caffe Puccini is still one of the best Italian restaurants out there, if not the best for me. They serve really good Italian food at prices that are pretty reasonable. My favorite (and what I ordered that night) is the Lobster Ravioli- basically lobster filling in fresh pasta and a reaaally good tomato cream sauce with huge chunks of lobster. Tip: save some of the complimentary bread and use it to mop up the leftover sauce after.

Other favorites include the duck ravioli, spinach ravioli, mushroom ravioli (ok they do ravioli really well HAHAHA), and gamberetti linguini. For the pizza, you must try the Pizza Puccini (balsamic vinegar, arugula, & Parma ham). I would never eat balsamic vinegar or arugula on a dish that isn't this pizza because the flavors just go so well together. Also I think this pizza costs P400-500? Which is insane because Shakeys has pizzas of that price and the quality of this pizza is worlds away.

For dessert (okay I'm almost done raving), a must-try is their Tiramisu. Definitely the best tiramisu I've ever had. It's similar to Mary Grace tiramisu but with a lot more coffee and a lot more liquor. Don't finish the whole thing if you'll be driving home. Hahaha.

Went here after lunch at Ogawa for dessert and we were not disappointed. We ordered the Tartufo Nero, Tiramisu, and a few scoops of Gelato and all were from dessert heaven. 128525 We loved it especially after a disappointing lunch at Ogawa. 128532 Will most prolly go back to check on their other food offering. 9786

Consistent and always satisfying128077. Ordered their Pasta Nero (not in their menu but they offered to make it for us since I was craving) and Proscuitto Truffle Pasta a new item and it was delish! Perfect with a bottle of red wine. Cafe Puccini has been around for sometime and although there are a lot of new restos around Fort, they still manage to keep their regulars, as there were a couple of tables filled up. Last time I was here was maybe 2 years ago, and Im happy with my return visit.

This place never fails to deliver. Great authentic Italian food.

Try the Greek or Mista insalata; lobster or spinach/ricotta ravioli and our favorite pizza's are the Tartufo Nero & Fungi Porcini, while the Tiramisu is a must! Aaah plus the lovely Cabernet Sauvignon red to compliment it!!!

Great service to top it..keep it up guys.

I love Italian cuisine. I can eat it everyday. So it's just right to celebrate my birthday and Mother's Day at an Italian resto to make the day complete. Of course with the help of looloo, I discovered this place and I swear we'll come back even if it's far from my place.

The first thing that caught my attention was its exterior. I'm a fan of the Godfather trilogy and The Sopranos so I loved the classic Italian feel. Yung feeling mo Michael Corleone would appear. Ganyan.

Anyway on with the food:

Shrimp Bisque - the broth was ver flavorful. This was perfect. You take a sip and you'll know that they made their shrimp stock very slowly.

Insalata di Cesare - I like it when the Caesar dressing is freshly made. This one's good. Perfect with a few shaved Parmesan cheese.

Calamari Croccanti - this was a shocker. Sarap eh! I never expected for them to take this fish seriously because it's Calamari, and it's just a simple dish, but it was flavorful, the breading was light, and the squid was lift and perfectly cooked.

Spaghetti Marinara - I loved this too. It had generous amount of seafood in it plus the tangy taste of the marinara sauce complimented everything.

Fettucini con Funghi e Olio di Tartufo - I love truffle pasta. Now I've tasted better truffle pasta than this one, but it's still good. I also love that they used fresh pasta on this one. And mushroom. Mmmm. Mushrooms...

Pizza Funghi Porcini - now this is a true Italian pizza. I super loved the crust which is charred, but a bit chewy at the center. Generous amount of prosciutto too!

If this place wasn't far, I'd go back often. One of the best Italian restos around.

I love that you can order two kinds of pizza in one. I really had a hard time choosing. But, we got the Tartuffe Pizza and Puccini Pizza, Calamari with Tomato Tartare and Oysters Rockefeller! Everything was soooo good it also helped that we were so hungry so we finished everything! The balsamic glaze on the Puccini pizza was different but, I wasn't that mush of a fan, still good though. The Tartuffe Pizza had a white base and is very mild on the truffle oil. I loved it!

One thing I did not like were the flies. Yikes!

Moonpools and Caterpillars are playing at Amber's that night. I arrived too early and starving so I started scouting for an awesome place to eat in the area. That's when I found this.

I highly recommend ordering the Truffle and Ham Pasta. It was more than amazing. The truffle flavor is not so strong (I tasted 1 at Dillinger's, w/c I did not like much because it leaves a lingering bitter taste) and the cured ham played well with the flavor.

My husband got the seafood marinara. It was chef recommended and not on the menu. It was likewise delicious but since I started with the Truffle, I guess nothing will beat its piquancy.

Now, as for that pizza, I remember my colleague telling me about that mangga and cheese that Greenwich popularized. I was not able to taste it so when I saw the description of Cebu Pizza in Puccini's menu, I ordered 1 immediately. They've got me at mangga! Surprisingly, it was sooo good! I thought it would taste weird, but it was just like having pinya on your pizza, only much more flavorful.

Pizza Puccini + Pizza Al Tartufo Nero = Solid happiness!

One of the best pizza I have ever tasted. I liked the Pizza Al Tartufo Nero better. maybe because I'm a sucker for truffles and mushroom! Haha!

All of their pizzas goes perfectly well with a glass of Merlot Red Wine.

Service was great! Very attentive and accommodating servers. 128076128076

Place is very posh, but equally attractive and tasteful is its italian pasta, pizza, wine, and desserts. During my last visit, i had the pasta pescatore, which is light and savoury, with pasta perfectly cooked. It goes well with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay. I chose a table outside for an alfresco feel, and some people watching :) dine there with a friend, and its a perfect way to cap off a day.
