I had a meeting to go to but was an hour early. I had to kill a bit of time but not eat much, so i decided to try this place.

It looked promising, with the availability of the outlets, warm lighting, and a wide selection for snacks.

Unfortunately, the 125 peso caffe mocha i ordered seemed watered down. And it indeed was! Not that much that I hated it, but just enough that it was okay. They have a set-up of a usual cafe nowadays.

They do have cold treats as well like gelato. I might go back just to try a few flavors! We'll see.

I think that this place is great for work and study meetings. :)

That's it for now. Take care everyone!

They have about a dozen flavours to choose from but only the Ferrero one stood out. The others were either too sweet, too strong or so-so. The Red Velvet didn't taste like red velvet :(

When I go back, I'd just probably get the Ferrero one.

Grabbed their Ice Cream Sandwich for a quick dessert.

I chose Butter cookies paired with Vanilla Gelato. It was 75 pesos for this cold treat.

Honestly, I liked the cookies. They were tasty, pretty chewy and not overly sweet. The Vanilla Gelato was just so so. It sort of lacked in richness and flavor. I have honestly had better ice creams or gelato. And this doesn't just apply to this flavor. I sampled quite a few and noticed the same.

They probably have the most affordable but quality gelato ever! P105 for 2 scoops! 128076

I shared one order of 2 scoops with my mom. I picked one flavor, she picked the other. My choice, Biscotino, was da bomb!!! My mom's choice, Espresso, was strong!!! As in!

I also saw new flavors since the last time I was here, Limoncello and Macchiato!! Will probably have the Machiatto next! 128522

Who would've thought that Caffè Ti Amo offers sandwiches?  All this time i thought that they are only offering caffeine and sugar.

We passed by Ti Amo after watching Criminal.  We were looking for a place that sells sandwiches.  I suggested Pepi Cubano but we are not in the mood to exercise our old woman joints.  Then I saw the poster,  Ti Amo has combo meals (comprises of sandwiches and a beverage of your choice,  prices range from 149 to 179, add 50 if you prefer an ice blended drink).

We got the same thing.  Egg Salad Sandwich with Iced Green Tea (php 149).   The sandwich is mediocre,  I cant help but compare it to Oliver's (the best egg salad sandwich in the Milky Way galaxy,  they used to occupy the spot where Pizza Warehouse is situated).  The bread is lighty toasted,  tomatoes and lettuce and the egg salad.  This will be elevated to Oliver's status if they added more seasoning on the egg salad,  a pinch of pepper perhaps?

Anyway,  the sandwich satisfied our bread cravings but we ended up pigging out at Manam after.

Unlike my first visit where I only had hot tea, I ordered dessert this time and got to sample their gelato. I ordered Brownie a la mode and chose tiramisu-flavored gelato for the topping. Just a few minutes waiting time since it's already about an hour before closing time on a Monday night.

Brownie was warm and soft and so very sweet. Yikes! Gelato was so goood! Not too sweet which is how I like it. Serving is good for two, I think, since it's just so sweet. I didn't finish it as I just could not take the sweetness overload I feel like a tooth is gonna fall out! 128514

I'd go back just for the gelato next time.

Ordered their baked mac and loved it! 128516

It's cheezy and flavorful. Just the way I like my baked mac. It was also filling. Good for merienda or very light dinner. I think it's worth the price of P150. Will order it again for sure! 128522

Speaking of the hot weather, we all need to take a break from that. And what better way to have a break than get some gelato. 128525 Ti-Amo has a lot of gelato that varies in flavors. They also have coffees, cakes and sandwiches. My friends adore their gelatos especially the red velvet and cheese. But, I would always prefer the ice cream sandwiches. I would usually pick the coffee, or sometimes this dark chocolate or mint. The coffee flavored gelato is perfect!!! Like you're actually having coffee cause it also has some coffee bean bits with it. You get to choose which cookie you'll like for your ice cream sandwiches too. The ambiance is great! Very cozy and chill. Since it's near our work, it has always been a great place to drop by in between work hours or lunch breaks.

Sometimes there's no intention to indulge in ice cream. Not until you pass by and witness them with your very eyes. So I did pass it and then went back after dinner.

I highly recommend their Ferrero version. I couldn't ignore the fact that it had chunks of the popular chocolate in every bite. It blended well too with their chocolate. Another pick would be the mint. It wasn't too sweet like Gelatissimo's. Still had the delightful refreshing kick.

The place also serves cakes, cookies, waffles. All the sweetness you love in one roof. Can't wait to try these.

Cafe Ti Amo continues to make visits special with their fine coffees and gelato. Out of so many visits, it was my first time to try their Americano as I have always gotten cappuccino and my all time fave here, the affogato.

Cafe Ti Amo's Americano is consistent with their other coffee variants - and this one is particularly strong (so strong, I couldn't tell the difference between the Americano and the espresso, except for the serving size!). The after-coffee feel, as I would like to call it, is not as heart-palpitating as other strong blends. I'll probably get a vanilla gelato next time for that affogato feel.

Gelato is the Italian word for "ice cream", derived from the Latin word gelātus (meaning "frozen"). In English this word commonly refers to varieties of ice cream made in an Italian style.

Compared to today's American-style ice cream, gelato has less fat in the base and less air churned into it during the freezing process.

Source: Wikipedia

To be honest,  i am not very fond of gelato,  i am a hardcore ice cream aficionado,  the only Geleto brand that i like is Bono.  But there are instances where i go bipolar and eat a frozen Italian treat apart from my preference.  I've been to Cafe Ti Amo three times,  if I'm not mistaken.

I still remember the first visit and the odd look the dude behind the counter is giving me when i decided to mix a citrus and mint flavored gelato.  I like odd flavor combinations.  The mainstream crowd usually orders two scoops of similar flavors. Their frozen treat is packed with flavor and can satiate gelato cravings. If you're fickle-minded, you can try all their flavors before making a decision on what to order.

The only difference between gelato and ice cream is the consistency,  hence it is thicker and has a bolder flavor.  The bold flavor is directly proportional to the umay factor,  the only brand that doesn't sport this characteristic is Bono.

Tried their waffle gelato, got the small size (Php 99) with the chocolate chip cookie vanilla gelato aaaand was surprised at how small it is hahaha. The gelato on top looks like it's butter. A dollop of gelato is how I would describe it.

The waffle was crispy and soft inside! I liked it!!!

Obviously I inhaled this in 5 minutes.

It wasn't enough so I went up to the counter and ordered their Sandwich Frost. Got the one with dulce de leche and butter cookies. It's basically dulce de leche gelato sandwiched between two butter cookies.

I thought it was too sweet buuuut I still finished it. 128514

Their coffee here is also pretty strong! Got their cappuccino and was surprised at how strong it is. Pretty good IMO!

Even before I discovered Baskin Robbins or Coldstone, there was Cafe Ti-Amo's gelato. It's been a while since I last ate here, so a friend and I decided to stop by for dessert.

I had the dark chocolate and choco-banana (PHP105 for a 2-scoop serving). I tasted my friend's order as well which was mint and dark choco.

I was easily reminded of why the previously mentioned ice cream stores' products are more expensive--the gelato was too sweet and the consistency was grainy. The flavor quality was also different. I can taste the dark choco/banana/mint, but with less richness and flavor.

Other minor details I didn't quite like: I find their furniture combination weird or slightly impractical--in each table there's a chair or sofa with a back rest, but it's partnered with seats that didn't. Those types of chair are uncomfortable for me, so I chose to exchange the seat with the empty chair beside me that had a back rest. There was also this plastic tree/plant in the middle of the place, that rested on a bed if pebbles that I think was a bit out of place.

Ambiance wise, the place was not crowded so it was an ok place to relax and hang-out at.

Overall, an ok place for gelato if you're on a budget. Or if it's too crowded in Baskin Robbins and Coldstone.

For those on the go or just craving. These ice cream sandwiches look like giant macaroons.

Great flavors! Dark chocolate on chocolate sandwich, extra chocolate-y. The blueberry was not too sweet.

The selling point: They don't melt easily.

Mah love! I got a regular size with half Biscottino and half Coffee Brew! I loved the flavors I got!!!! I really live for gelato with a cookie kinda crunch! 128513128513 I just got sad because the first order I got fell on the floor. I thought my dad was going to tell me to just scrape of the top, the part that directly touched the floor, but he didn't! He told me to get a new one!!! 128557128557 I felt a tug on my heartstrings. 1008410084️ love my dad! And the gelato!
