We weren't sure if it's was almost closing time but their service wasn't up to par. It took time to get a server's attention and their wine glasses for our Manila Sunset sangria (carafe-375Php) wasn't clean it had lip stains on it.

For the food, we ordered: The Original Bbq Chicken (395Php-reg) and Spaghetti Carbonara (350Php-personal). Both were good, hope they would improve on their service.

Just took the pic of their Warm Butter Cake. I missed this from our sponsored Rendezvoos last month... Well, we didn't get dessert, actually. Anyway, with my Mom treating us to CPK Greenhills tonight, and I had room for dessert, I suggested we try this. Thanks for the suggestion, Peanut D!

Side Story... We ordered the warm butter cake (aptly described simply as "Trust us, just try it" and after we said we'd add another dessert (their menu did have 7 items), the waiter said he'll check, and said that only the butter cake was available. Hahaha. 7 desserts, only one available. Nice. 128517

The warm butter cake certainly gets a 127775127775127775127775127775!!!

Warm, soft and moist, with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream ala mode, the cake was super delicious. Wowza.

Think it's my first time in this branch. It's just right sized, only two tables occupied on a weeknight, and I'll give it a -1 for the aircon being non existent and the runny spinach dip. But the Carbonara, Kung Pao Spaghetti, their pizza with everything on it, were all very good.

But what made me write this quick review is their Warm Butter Cake. No doubt, one of my new favorite desserts. 128537128540128523

We got the 5 cheese pizza and some bolognese pasta. I would say both dishes were pretty good. I especially love the pasta ! I loved how flavorful the beef was, it had intense spices in it ... Like an explosion every single bite! I always love a good red sauce!

The service was pretty fast so 128076🏻128076🏻

This is probably one of the oldest franchise in the Philippines way back when the branch was still in Shangri-la plaza. I haven't tried this restaurant in a while since a lot of competitors opening left and right but then I realized why not give it another try hence my visit.

First, I would like to say that the place was still the same like 7 years ago haha. No renovations done. The place was not well lit. The second floor was closed off maybe because we went on a weekday. Servers were polite and would attend to your needs at the best possible time.

First, we ordered spinach artichoke dip with tortilla chips. The dip was creamy with generous amount of spinach. It was viscous which blends well with the chips but I would prefer bread of any kind and would blend perfectly with it.

Second dish was vegetable primavera. We ordered the big portion (for sharing) it comes with 4 slices of bread with a big plate of pasta. It was dry and lack vegetables. The spaghetti was too much compared to the pasta but overall it was alright.

Third, it was the creamy truffle mushroom. This time it comes in one size. This dish is a must have if you love the truffle taste. They place truffles (I think, or was it just minced mushrooms haha!) On top along with several onion leeks and a slice of bread. The bread would be best eaten at the last portion to wipe the plate clean. Hahaha!

Lastly, we ordered farmer's choice. Personally I think this dish is for those who want to taste something exquisite. The coconut were like grains of rice. Scattered evenly though out the pizza. This pizza doesn't go well with chili flakes though haha.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience!

For a "quick late" lunch, we ordered Four Cheese dip, Mexicali and Original BBQ Chicken pizza. The dip was so good! I immediately finished my share and ended scooping more cheese after. I liked the right balance of saltiness and sweetness of it. The Mexicali was not exactly what I expected from a salad but it's still good to some extent. It lacked the avocado slices because it wasn't available during our visit. I wouldn't order it next time cos it didn't really help me ease my hunger. Lastly, the pizza delivered its usual delicious taste. The bbq chicken had the right flavor. I also liked how the crust/dough wasn't hard and chewy. That's a plus for someone who has braces.

We can never go wrong with California Pizza Kitchen. It is still a go-to place for a nice meal with someone special or some friends. They offer sharing portions which are affordable for people eating in big groups or with your family.

We decided to have our quick brunch here and ordered Sent from my iPhone is one of their best sellers, the pizza are freshly authentic hand stretched pizza dough. Well balanced flavors of Smokey barbecue, smoked Gouda, sharp flavors of the red onions and cilantro with a flavorful sauce and generous toppings

Their Baked Penne Florentine Pasta surely a melt-in-your-mouth cheesy goodness with something beefy. Baked Penne Florentine is definitely a must try! Rich flavors and how they're so generous with ingredients. It will give you enough reasons to go back to California Pizza Kitchen.

The staff was attentive, polite, friendly, and accommodating. The place is cozy ambiance is still classy and relaxing. The food is a little pricey as compared to other restaurants but the taste makes up for it.

I have always wondered how the place can keep up for a few years now despite seeing few customers dining here. And just because they give 15% off your total bill if you show them your on-the-day movie ticket, I have convinced my boyfie to eat here.

Judging from the menu, the selection were just few and can be regularly ordered in other restaurants at a lesser cost.

We ordered the chicken bbq pizza and garlic creme pasta. Just as soon these two had hit my tastes buds the answer to my question came flaring. Their food is awesome! The pasta tasted as it was described garlic and creme in harmony with a mild pang and the ciabatta that comes with it is so soft and moist that I want to buy it separately for home. The pizza crust was soft yet crunchy, even without the promo I'll be sure to come back :)

Liked how fast the service was and the nice ambience of the place, especially at night time. Ordered their pumpkin soup which was HEAVEN in a bowl. Also had their Chinese chicken salad which was made better with drizzles of Hoisin sauce 128536

Happy 2015! Looloo friends I'm back127881128522

Nasarapan sa Holidays and now time to catch up with so many pending reviews. New Year and start of another food adventures.

After we went to Batangas before Christmas , we went to Greenhills then treat my family at California Pizza Kitchen. Our first time there. It has two floors by the way and we decided to stay at second floor and there was TV so my kids can watch .

We were so full so decided to have a light dinner and we had carbonara for 695 then the best seller Sicilian pizza 127829 for 695 too. The pizza was hot and huge and both pasta and pizza are good for sharing. Enough for 5 persons and may natira pa so we decided to take it home. Bill was around 1,500 and although our orders was just pizza and pasta the food was worth the price for me.

Service was fast and they have wifi too and place was spacious and relaxing

So sorry guys, I haven't opened Instagram in forever... The only social media apps I frequently open are looloo (naks!) and Pinterest!128513128513128513 So sorry, pwede text?128540

Anyway, I was pretty happy with the Thai crunch salad my friends and I shared last week... It was also my first time to try their calzone, which was good, but kinda heavy!128563

I was just sad that the noodles of the fettuccini in garlic cream sauce were over cooked! They stuck together (as you can kinda see in the picture) and was already difficult to manage... I have to agree with the previous comment that the place was kinda gloomy...128563 I prefer the Tomas Morato branch...128513

Do you like eating salads? Do you like crispy and crunchy food? Are you dining in with group of 4?

Let me introduce you to CPK's Thai Crunch. Have the full plate. Add some avocado. Ask your reliable server to split it into 4. :)

Enjoy the cilantro, crunchy nuts, veggies, avocado and chicken. Tossed in Thai peanut dressing! All in one plate! Yum!

Make that nutritious choice now! :)

Walt, a CPK visit wouldn't be complete without having a taste of their pizza! Very mouth-watering and yummers as well.

I suggest to try their Santa Fe pizza. Let me know what you think. :)

Until my next CPK experience.

Your fellow food traveller,
Princess
