We got the chance to check out Camp Netanya's Greeka restaurant while driving along the road in Anilao, Batangas. Family and I agreed to spend lunch time here as everything looked interesting. We were in a dilemma whether we would get the day tour but spending P1,700 for it was I think, way too much. Maybe next time, we would just check-in to enjoy the place a little bit more.

Since we were not really famished (because we had buffet breaky at Eagle Point earlier), we just had the following for sharing:

▫️Truffle Pasta
Penne pasta with truffle sauce. The taste was a little bit bland and not overwhelming. We were expecting a little more of the taste. The pasta was cooked al dente.

▫️Chicken Parmigiana
Masarap! I loved the saucy tomato taste with cheesy flavor. The chicken meat was tender and complimented well with the sauce.

▫️Bacon Asparagus
Our fam's fave food because this is really easy to make! We ordered one here and it looked soshal, may pa dash of paprika pa. 128516 We loved it, not too oily!

▫️Mango Sticky Rice
I've been dying to try this dessert ever since and finally had here in Greeka. The mango complimented with the sweet rice and best paired with hot milk. I remember when I was a kid, I used to eat my rice with mango, and that's the same thing with this meal. Only difference is that, this one's way sweeter.

We paid P1,700 for the orders we had. Prices are bit expensive like some of high end restos here in Manila. We were expecting more on Greek food to be available on the menu but it only ranges from the usual. I guess, we only paid for the fanciness of the place after all.

The ambiance is great! We had the chance to take a peak at some of the spots. Good thing they allowed us to take photos near the restaurant and the area down the hallway. Because it's an open space, expect a humid weather when it's hot. Place is not airconditioned.

Stayed overnight in this greek-inspired resort in Batangas. Camp Netanya provides a scenic backdrop in the stretch of Anilao Beach.

We booked through Agoda for Php7000++ for one night. The room is complete with a bath tub and balcony.

It’s already mid-year and summer is over. Weather did not cooperated, waves are higher than usual. Our package supposedly includes island hopping, snorkelling, and kayaking. Upon check-in we are offered with a free use of KTV room to compensate for the restricted water activities.

Aside from pool swimming, there’s a play room for kids and a gym for guests use.

There is a restaurant at the main lobby where breakfast is served. Price points can be a little steep but as a smart tip: there are cheaper nearby restaurants that serves Batangas’ homegrown recipes.

If you want to have a feel of what it is like to stay in Santorini without leaving the country, you may opt to visit Camp Netanya. Camp Netanya is considered to be the Little Santorini in Batangas.

The whole place was definitely breathtaking. Very instagrammable. The interior design was spot-on giving you a feel of what a real relaxing vacation feels like. Upon entering the establishment, we were warmly welcomed by their staff with complementary drinks. We were too early for the check-in time so we just explored the place. The main balcony really provided us both the whole ocean and pool view. The way the whole place was strategically constructed, facing the ocean, allowed wind to circulate the whole place making the warm weather bearable.

As soon as we received the go-signal that our room was ready, we were immediately escorted by their staff upstairs. We were checked in in one of their Superior King room. The room was medium-sized, 1-bathroom with bath tub, cable tv, soft and comfy bed and down-type pillows and a small balcony with a view of the road and small forest. I was hoping that we will be given a room with ocean view but it was fine. My only concern was that during our stay, their wifi was not working so we had to rely on our phone data (signal was not that strong in the resort). We also had trouble with the shower knobs because one of the three knobs was not closing properly so we had to wind it twice just to make sure that there was no water leaking.

Camp Netanya is in Anilao, Batangas making it not the best option to swim in beaches so we just used the resort's pool instead. They have two kiddie pools and one adult pool that could go as deep as 12ft. They have life guards on standby so you are definitely safe when you take a dip in the pool. Aside from the clean pool, the view from it was breathtaking. It was strategically situated in a way that you can see the ocean and witness the sunset in the afternoon. Watching the sunset was definitely one of the highlights of my stay there.

Come dinner time, since we were too tired from spending hours in the pool, we decided to try their in-house restaurant. The interior and ambiance were aligned with the whole resort concept. However, the food was just average. Just okay. I was expecting their food selection to be somewhat Greek-inspired to complete the whole experience but it was just the usual pasta, meat etc. Aside from dining, there was also a mini performance from a professional belly dancer to provide entertainment for us diners.

After dinner, we went outside and saw that they had movie playing by the poolside ---like watching a movie under the stars. The concept was great but they had technical difficulties with the sound so we just grabbed some free popcorn and went back to our room.

The package that we availed did not have free breakfast. Good thing they provided free coffee, drinks and bread with spread in their in-house restaurant.

Overall, we really had a great experience staying at Camp Netanya. It was definitely a unique experience for us. 128522

A perfect place to unwind, Camp Netanya is a 3-hour drive from Sucat (in a good day). The place is picturesque; I hope my photos gave justice to the beauty of this place.

They serve good food as well. Be warned though, there’s corkage for food bought outside.

Hoping to be back in Camp Netanya soon!!!

Picture-perfect place! As in. Hands down. It re-opened this January, opening its doors to the public. I got an overnight reservation at 20% discount. It's still expensive, especially since there aren't much to do yet, and the room is quite far from the pool, but there are a lot more in store once the renovations finish. For now, you can enjoy kayak, snorkeling, island experience, palami massage, infinity pool and sea swimming, but hopefully soon, you can enjoy more massage type, a library, a music lounge, events place and more. Chips are allowed, buy more than that, there will be a corkage fee. Their staff is very accommodating. When we got to the infinity pool, staff is ready and is already asking if we want water, they're already fixing the benches.

If you want a quick weekend getaway from the city, you should probably visit Camp Netanya in Mabini, Batangas. It's just a few hours away from Manila. An overnight stay for two is just 6,000 pesos but you have to reserve before you go there cause they don't accept walk-ins and they're usually booked every weekend. Why wouldn't they right?

The place is heaven. From the structure of the rooms to the color scheme of the place, you'll feel like you're in Santorini. They've got lots of rooms, an infinity pool and access to the beach as well. They have a big pool which is 5 feet up to 10 feet and they also have a kiddie pool for the young ones. If you want to go explore the ocean, they offer boat paddling and kayaking for free when you're a guest.

Their rooms are very cozy I swear. You can request for a queen sized bed or two single beds. The bathroom is clean and well maintained. They also have a veranda per room so that's a plus for smokers or if you just want to enjoy the view and breathe fresh air. All rooms are air-conditioned.

Food won't be a problem. If you want to bring your own ingredients and groceries, you can ask their kitchen to cook it for you. You just have to tell them and bring everything to the kitchen, and then you pay for their cooking/service fee. If you don't want to stress yourself from buying everything, you can just order from their menu. The price of their food is very reasonable and it tastes good so you don't need to worry about that.

If you love doing the Karaoke just like most Filipinos do, you'll enjoy it here cause you can rent a Karaoke machine for only 500 pesos.

The place is very quiet and very peaceful, perfect to just chill and relax after that long and stressful week you had. #loolooexplorerpackgiveaway

I don't need to spend money and travel that far just to visit Santorini because we also have that here too, not as perfect as the original one but enough to feel the ambiance of Santorini. This is where we stay after the very tiring Mt. Gulugod Climb located in Anilao, Batangas too. The ambiance is great. When the sun goes down, and the lights are turn on..Oh man, the place turns onto a very romantic one perfect for couples who want to spend the night together. In every visit, I always give feedbacks wether it's good or bad, I just want to make sure that I'm getting the value of what I'm paying for. Some of the rooms are too old. Some of the door locks are malfunctioning... I feel like I will get locked up in the room. I also don't like the smell of the restrooms, it really smells bad.

The rooms are very spacious.. It can accommodate upto 4-5 persons per room. The resort don't have a restaurant but you can request to cook some food for you(paluto). They don't give justice to the food I order, the pork is so matabang and overcooked. I hear visitors complaining about the over grilled squid that it tastes so bitter. I think the only answer to providing satisfaction to their visitors is by getting a good chef to meet the standards of their guests and to add some twist of the food request to be cooked. Also, they need to make sure that the place is always clean because it is now become a popular destination to relax. Some of the rooms need to be fixed. I complety understand now why this place has so many negative comments and I don't want to spend that huge amount of peso for something that I really don't get in return. I give them 3 stars because I'm tatally not satisifed with the food, I would rather eat in carenderia.

Little Santorini as they call it.
Camp Netanya is a gorgeous place to stay in while swimming in the infinity pool during sunset.
In the area you will have a very wide view of the scenic Batangas.

Their overnight rate is 5000 pesos good for two persons and every additional pax will cost 1000 pesos.
Food is not included in this price. Check in time is 2pm and check out is 12nn the next day.

If you want to have day tour, they charge 500 per person which will accommodate you from 9am to 6pm. It does not include food too. And if you want to experience their rooms for day tour you just need to pay 2500 pesos.

Day and overnight rates includes free use of kayak and snorkels.

You need to have reservations before you visit Camp Netanya

Who wouldn't love the view of this place? Camp Netanya is a Santorini-inspired resort that can be found in Anilao, Batangas. We booked more than a month before our desired date and lucky that they have a slot for us! Yey!

Upon entering the parking lot, we noticed that the resort doesn't look like it was finished. We proceeded to the admin office and ask for our room. The staff were friendly but their service was meh, just fine.

There's a total of 10 rooms available on the resort. A somewhat private resort, but still people, at some point, will photobomb you when you want to take that blogger pose style.

The place was breathtaking. And their pool varies from 2 feet up until 12 feet! Yay! Every angle on our vanity sessions were really good and the pictures we upload were reall the talk of the town on that moment.

Bringing of food was just fine but we also ordered pancit and cups of rice for courtesy.

The resort also offers kayak (free), snorkeling (free) and island hopping (price depends on which island you want to visit). But if you'll just stay overnight, I suggest you just stay at the resort and enjoy its facilities.

Based from the staff, the owner of the resort wants to sell the place, so if you have the money, go buy it! I think there's a potential business here. 128077

P.S. The resort is not 'oldies'-friendly because there are so many stairs around the area.

Why would I recommend this place? Simply because it is the Santorini/ Balesin of Batangas! Accessible and way cheaper baby!

View of the pool is so picturesque! Even the worst photographer could get a good shot.

Now let's discuss the Anilao sea/beach. Whatever you wish to call it. There's no sand at all. Don't expect Boracay sand because there is none. Strongly recommend to bring aqua shoes because it is really rocky. Some rocks are sharp that can wound the skin. The good thing about the beach/sea is that just a few meters, you can see the fishes and corals already.

Aside from swimming in the pool and beach, you can go kayaking, paddle boating or island hopping. Usually in the afternoon the waves are big so it is best to do the water sports in the morning. The island hopping costs P2,500 good for 10pax plus entrance fee of P100 to either Sombrero Island or Oscar's Beach. These 2 destinations have white sand, but again of course it is not as fine as Boracay.

The room is good for 2 pax. P500 for extra bed. It is decent enough and quite spacious for 3 pax. Oh, they have bath tub in the rest room, but they do not have television in the rooms.

Another important aspect when traveling is the food. The lobby/ registration area is just beside the kitchen and one dining area. It is not the same level as the facade of the whole area. Anyhow, they have limited choices in the menu to choose from. The food is okay but not the type you will rave about. Definitely there's more room for improvement. If you are the type who wants really good food, suggest to bring your own. No corkage for everything. You can even bring your own rice cooker, turbo or stove.

The view alone will take your breath away. A Really nice place to relax and enjoy the pool with your kids. But if you are into diving, this is a good location as well. If you want to learn scuba diving they also have a 12feet deep pool just for that. And when you are ready, you can go out into the sea.
The room that I got was the corner room with a balcony facing the pool and the large window facing the sea.
The only problem that I have is that they still do not have a fully functional restaurant. However, they are not strict in bringing in your own food. You can also opt to order in advance from their set of menu and they will have it delivered to your room.
My wife and kids would really love to go back.
