One of my family's go-to places in Rockwell. Last weekend, I got the minestrone and shared a salad with my mom. My brother got the grilled chicken, while my dad got carpaccio and the Cantinetta pizza. The servings are a bit small for their price, but they're all great tasting Italian food. Plus the waiters are always so nice. We got a free dessert!

We had weekend merienda of four cheese pizza and seafood pasta (not in photo). The pizza was ok, i liked the crust it was thin and crispy, although needed more salt or more cheese (?) 127829. The pasta was so-so, small serving. Service was quite fast.

I'd say my first try here is okay and the dishes are averagely good. I mean I'd always prefer to go somewhere instead of here but would'nt mind ending up here too lol. As for the pasta, the sauce was delicious but the seafood was overcooked. The scallops were so tough it was so sad as it would have been really great. The rolle aubergine was amazing & we all loved that. As for the pizza, it was ok but forgettable. The pumpkin soup was yummy but really small.
Serving size is usually only good for one to two, a bit small for the price I think. 9786

The first time I visited this place it was nice even though there's a lot of people in the restaurant.

The food was just OK. I ordered carbonara which is typically Roman dish but it was too cream and heavy. The pizza was just OK too. I guess they are adapting to the crowds taste BUT I think it's better to present food that are authentic than adapting the dish to the costumers' taste.

Our pre-mothers day celebration was a success as both my wife and my momloved the food.

We each had a bowl of mushroom soup, which to us, was one of the best we've EVER had.

I had the linguini tartuffo. My wife had the seafood risotto and my mom had the mushroom risotto. All dishes were superb.

I ordered a plate of prosciutto (gold) too. It was a perfect addition to our dishes!

perfect place for a business lunch meeting. read excellent reviews and am happy we got to try their food for ourselves. spaghettini vongole and bolognese, ravioli on truffle sauce, pizza, moza slice and olives and their fresh bread w pate and tomato& onions topping were all great! am so thankful to an old friend who treated us for our lunch meeting today!! will definitely go back and try the other menu delights soon!

First time to dine here since they transferred from the block.

The interior got a downgrade so the ambiance suffered a bit. Service is average. The 2 waiters were a bit busy.

The food is good. The price is fair. I liked the mushroom soup, caprese, pasta pescatore. The steak was ok but it had too much fat.

Panacotta is a pure Italian dessert...The hardest part about making a good pannacotta is achieving the proper consistency and texture—it should be silky smooth and just firm, with a gentle wobble.....I had fun & love that moment of dipping a spoon into its creaminess *swoon*, it tastes luxurious , sweet just enough and looks so beautiful & delicate to the palate... So sinful .... Yet , no one can stop me from indulging 128521

If you're looking for an intimate, secluded, and low key Resto in rocwell, this is the joint for you. Nestled at the g/f side where not too many restos are, cantinetta offers good quality Italian food and wine for a not so expensive price.

Their must tries are the cheese pizza (cheese lovers who love nothing g on their crust but cheese will definitely drool over this) and their tartuffo pasta (but sadly a little watery for this visit). Both are staples that can rival other good Italian joints.

A welcomed surprise was their ribeye steaks. I usually go for mamou when I'm in the mood for steak but my colleague mentioned they have good meat here. As it's spirit season already, we got 2 orders for the table (mind you we were 9at the table 128517). Their meat is tender but bad more fat than I hoped for. It was perfectly cooked at medium rare and the insides were very juicy and flavorful 128077

Definitely must come back for the steak and wine!128076

Okay the photo looks pretty bad mostly because the lighting inside sucked (for photos but maybe a bit conducive for dates hahahahah) and I was too lazy to edit. HAHA

Anyway, Cantinetta, for me, is pretty inconsistent with its food. One time i couldn't stopped raving about their truffle pasta the next it tasted just okay. 128530 this visit, I wasn't too impressed. It wasn't bad but it felt and tasted different from before. Like it needed more salt. 128532

We also got the four cheese pizza in the photo. That one I actually liked. 128077128077 but ever since i got to taste the perfect pint version, i'd say theirs is better.

We also got panna cotta and it was even served by the italian owner himself! Only, it tasted like leche flan. 128532 panna cotta is supposed to be milky and silky, is it not? That dessert was of custard!128532

Not sure if i'm heading back 128532

Sorry no picture of the food except for the 3 slices of pizza left. That just goes to show how big my appetite is since no trace of food was left on my side 128518

My second time here after a looong time because I wasnt satisfied with their truffle pasta last time I went.

Glad my friend invited me here because their Gnocchi was delicious! It didnt look enticing but man it was good! It was cut into small pieces (for me, they were bite-size) but my friend would cut it into half so I did the same - jahe kasi 128518!

For the pizza, we got the truffle pizza, which was good enough. 128522

Carbs on carbs! tsk tsk tsk!

If you are looking for good Italian food in Powerplant mall, Cantinetta remains my favorite go to place. Now tucked at the end of the "al fresco international restaurant row" on the West side of the mall, Cantinetta has turned into a small, quiet, more casual restaurant to enjoy authentic Italian food away from the busy mall crowd.

For starters, go for the Caprese (P380) with fresh tomato slices layered with fresh mozzarella cheese and olive oil .

For main course, my favorites are the Spaghettini Aglio Olio (P350), and the Cantinetta Classica Pizza (P480) with Italian sausage, pepperoni & minced beef. The Fettuccine Tartufo (P550) with truffle cream sauce and parma ham is also good if you like cream based pasta.

To complete the experience, they also serve Italian wines.

Buon Appetito!

I was lucky to be included in a special lunch meeting one thursday afternoon, weeks ago here in this pizzeria.
Upon sitting down, i was oblivious about anything but my hunger...and by the time i'm done eating was when i began noticing the surrounding i was in.

The tables and chairs look plain and simple as how i remember it...but the presence of an Old Italian looking man sitting in front of the kitchen (which of course obviously was the owner) gave me an excitement...I was like 'Ooh, italiano!'... They must've a good pasta here! hehehe128540

I notice a wine rack in one side of the room. Their Menu by the way is written on the chalkboard located just below the ceiling on a wall.
Overall for me, it has an italian feel and i must say it's a cool place to chill in.

We ordered pizza with fresh tomato (Margherita) and also pasta with white sauce (Spaghetti Carbonara).
