I received a Metrodeal voucher as a gift. This covers an overnight stay at the resort with use of all the amenities. We pursued the family trip and booked an additional room through Agoda for P3500+ with breakfast for two.

Canyon Cove is accessible through Nasugbu-bound buses from Cubao or Buendia Pasay. From the town proper, there are tricycles that can bring you directly to the entrance lobby. The resort is also easy to find for guest with private cars. Approximate travel time is 1hour and 30min drive from Tagaytay City.

We arrived for a late check-in at 4:00pm and the process is quite fast. We were able to get into our rooms in no time. There is a store in the lobby area for essentials and snacks. Dresses, swimwear, slippers, goggles, is also available for a higher price.

The room is clean except the bath room is a little rusty. Water flow is not consistent. The beds and the lounge beside the window is really comfortable. Room has a Cable TV, Ref, and a bar countertop. We also have a terrace overlooking the beach area. It is actually good for families with kids.

The pool area is big enough and not congested. There are lounges along the beach area for free. There are various activities subject for an additional charge. An hour of Kayak is Php 450. Beach area is rocky and the water is just okay.

Gusto mo ba pumunta sa Batangas beach resort with infinity pool pero nagtitipid ka? Ayaw ng mahabang byahe at 2 to 3 hours lang from Manila? Basahin mo to beshy! 128514

I think a lot of you know this resort or went here before already, visiting their website will give you eye strain because a night will cost you 5000 php to 10,000 php for 2. Diba nagtitipid nga tayo? So why not get a deal. We got ours from Metrodeal for only 2900 php (mura na yan for 2 adult and 2 kids!) 128514 It was my first time to do this since I usually go do it yourself when travelling. I was hesitant at first but it went all well.

Canyon Cove Resort is located at Far East Road, Piloto Wawa, Nasugbu, Batangas.

Take the South Luzon Expressway and exit at Sta. Rosa. From the Sta. Rosa Exit, turn right and go up to Tagaytay. From Tagaytay Rotonda, head towards the right arm of the road going to Nasugbu. From Nasugbu, Just go straight ahead. Take the right road that says to Nasugbu. (Hindi ka maliligaw beshy kasi iisa lang ang daan, pwede din naman gumamit ng waze. Hassle free pa!

From MRT Taft Station at back of McDonald's, there's a bus terminal heading Batangas, (BLTB or JAM) - ride a bus heading to Nasugbu. Fare around 160 and travel time will be roughly 3 hrs. From the town proper hire a tricycle around 50php to 100php depends on your haggling skills. (Galingan mag bes!) Ask the driver to take you to Canyon Cove , they will just drop you off the entrance gate, and you need to walk for about 5 to 10 minutes.

128205Huge infinity pool (said to be the largest infinity pool in the Philippines back in 2014, clear yung water. Ang ganda!!!)
128205Beach Area (sand was not so fine but it was light brown to creamy color) better to swim in the afternoon as the wave so strong in the morning
128205Water activities like kayaking, jetski, banana and dragon boat, paddle board are available

It seems like fate wants me to be here every summer, last 2014 i was here with a couple of friends for some quick beach fix, last year (2015) we had our company outing here but it was just a for a day trip (sigh, bitin). And this year, guess where we had our company summer outing??? non other than this resort that seems to connected with me every summer. :)

We went here earlier this june, so that was late summer and it seems that our organizer reasons for again choosing this place was because theres only a handful of place left, cause were very late in organizing an outing and the corkage fee for liquor here is less than other nearby resorts outside metro.

But then again, my three visits had different memories for me, the 2014 of course the expenses comes from our own wallet but im with close friends around me so that's more personal and memorable.

2015, im on a daytrip/summer outing, coming from a no sleep and clubbing the night before, it was probably fun and bitin for me. That year made me realize that i shouldn't drink and swim (Do not attempt to cross the floating barrier that seperates the safe from non safe area :P).

This year, it was of different adventure. First i was left off from our shuttle, so i have to drive my way here. Just take SLEX -> Sta. Rosa Exit -> Tagaytay -> Nasugbu -> Turn left at the end. Total trip time would be 2 hours, depends where your coming from, how fast your driving and the traffic situation.

We were assigned 4 peeps for a room. Wow, bonding right? haha. Price range per room is P5000 up for individual but I know our company was able to secure a good deal.

There's lots of activities here, they have huge swimming pool if that's your thing. Long beach line but the best area was on the middle (finer sand. less rocks), the tail ends was more serene and private but less trees and all.

We had our free kayak, banana boat, etc (these are not really free as this was paid by our company) I think theres a jetski but of course its price was kinda steep.

We enjoy our day here and proceed to have dinner with live band and fire performance. Ended the day by drinking the night away.

Overall this resort has excellent view especially the sunrise and sunset. Service of the staff were excellent. But in a good way, i hope i wont be heading here again next summer, three straight summer na :)

Our two day stay at Canyon Cove has been one of the most memorable. The sun, the fine white sand and the beautiful calm waters just made our beach experience perfect.

Canyon Cove's location is almost perfect, quite near from the Nasugbu town proper and not as high (and steep) as Terrazas de Punta Fuego or Pico de Loro.

The enormous pool was clean and beautiful; we do wish that they lessen the chlorine as it causes a little itch if your skin is sensitive. The pool area is just a few meters from the beach and isn't very far to burn your foot if you're walking to the beach on a sunny afternoon (I still recommend you wear slippers as there are some rough surfaces which you might walk onto. They are very strict in asking guests to take a shower when coming from the beach to the pool.

The hotel building is quite old and you can easily notice the foul smell from the toilets. Good thing we stayed at the beach area most of the time.

They do have a large playground but the playground sandbox needs some cleaning with lots of cigarette butts scattered around the sandbox. Smoking areas should be strictly enforced on certain beach and pool areas.

Most staff were very accommodating and friendly except for one of the pool attendants who refused to give us a pool towel just because we didn't immediately show her our pool card. There are really better, more courteous ways to say that the pool card policy is strictly enforced.

The food is good, especially their breakfast corned beef (looks really fresh). Lunch and dinner is served at the resort restaurant and catered by Max's. A treat for those craving for their favorite Max's chicken and Filipino dishes. I do think prices are the same as in regular Max's restaurants.

Except for the smelly toilets and courtesy issues of some staff, I would rate this stay with a compete set of stars.

Am i recommending Canyon Cove? Definitely yes, especially if you're coming with your family (great for small kids and senior family members).

Oh, heavens...I'm in Heaven! 128525128525128525128525128525128525

We were here few years back during the time they were still constructing this place. And I came here now with my family. The travel time was 3-4 hours because the only route my family knows is thru Tagaytay. But it's always fun to go on a road trip with the family! 9786️

This trip was just really a day tour. We arrived here at 8am (we left home around 4-5am) and yes it was a perfect time to enjoy most of the day at the beach and be able to leave before dark.

The kids (mostly pamangkins) enjoyed it so much, lalo na puro sila mga Balikbayans! I absolutely loved the view on the beach! With all the Blue Skies, Clear water, white sand and clean surroundings! You'll surely have a peace of mind and a relaxed body here!

I'd like to commend Manong who patiently accompanied us from the Hotel's Reception to the Shower room to the Guard Office where we paid and registered. He gave us a a quick tour and a brief information on everything.

A woman from the Guard Office who receives all the payments said we need to pay 1k for both Adults and Kids. We thought ang mahal for day tour. But gladly they accept Credit Cards. She said consumable naman yung 300 pesos doon.
I agree kasi Manong mentioned it to us earlier while walking towards the office. An inclusive 300 pesos is consumable for Water Sports, Food and even the Cavannah (Cottages beside the beachfront) Cool di ba?!?...and so we decided to use it for Cavannah instead of water sports or food, this girl said, it's not included. I talked to her sabi pa nya, ay si Manong po kasi di nya alam lahat ang rules dito etc.." I'm like well, in fact Mas na inform pa nga nya kami kesa sa kanya.128513

Disappointed kami and I went back to the shore where my sisters are and then suddenly a guy approached us and said pwede na daw pala iconsume sa Cavannah. Yay naman di ba, but I made sure I went back to the girl and said, Miss, tama naman pala si kuya, madami naman syang alam kesa sa yo! Hmp. 128540

Anyways, We then occupied a Cavannah which costs 2.5-3k (per day) ata haha, I forgot na. My pamangkins tried the Kayaking for 250 I guess. 9786️
We stayed until after Lunch.
I'd say this is one of the best Beach experience I've had. I don't know but the water is clean, the sand is very fine and the wind is not too cold. I've enjoyed swimming even during noontime! #tantantantan

The shower room which is a three minute walk from the beach is better than the restroom near the Swimming pool. When we arrived nadaanan namin to from the Parking area and some parts ay under construction's spacious with locker rooms pa. Plus hindi crowded. 9786️128077🏼

I know and hope that soon I'll be back here and try staying overnight. I loved the place so much I keep talking about it to my friends. 128525

Disclaimer: Very late post/review

Last August, my cousins and I planned a quick trip away from the city. We were initially planning to stay in Pico de Loro but we were already there the week before and have been there for quite a number of times already so we looked for a new place to stay.

Luckily, we found a good promo via MetroDeal and got ourselves 2 vouchers for our 3D/2N stay at Canyon Cove. We got our rooms at 50% off the original price (P3000 instead of P6000 or P6500 - thanks MetroDeal)! The room was already good for 4 pax without any meal inclusions... So pwede na din. Good deal 10024

Canyon Cove is an old resort, it's been there for quite a time so the buildings really look old. At first I thought that we'd regret staying here but I was wrong! Our room was really big with 2 queen sized beds, a sofa, a big bathroom and a veranda to see the beautiful view of the ocean. The beds were really comfy!!! I like it when I spend time at the veranda because I hear the sound of waves and the cool breeze that's really very relaxing ❣

The resort also had a swimming pool so it's ideal for both the beach lover and the not-so beach lover that prefers the pool rather than the ocean 128517 there were not so many people when we were there so the pool and beach were not crowded.

I liked our whole stay there except for the food. Max's restaurant is the only food supplier in this resort. You can go out and go to the "Bayan" near the resort for other options but seriously?! Max's for breakfast, lunch and dinner?! 128567 I mean Max's is a good restaurant and is known for really good fried chicken but they do not have lots of food variations as well so nakakasawa talaga. After staying there, I never considered eating at Max's again (not permanently but temporarily). I could've given this place a 5, if only the food had other variations and if we were allowed to bring food there. 128560

So my hubby and i are celebrating our 2nd year anniversary so we decide to go to Canyon cove i love the place! Let's it breakdown one by one.

Place - the place is so good and easy to find the hotel is clean they have a swimming pool love the interior but since i'm a beach lover i love the beach white sand and i must they maintain and preserve the beauty of it didn't find any trash on the shore and the water is clear really perfect to take a dip and relax. You can do banana boat ride, snorkling and kayak, they also have boat ride for island hopping which cost 2100 each. (I find it expensive) forgot to mention they have wifi pero sa lobby lang and a souvenir shop right outside the lobby. They also have a playroom where you can leave your kids there and have a quality time with your partner.

Staff - they are friendly and accommodating didn't have any hard time checking in and out. The security i must you are very safe in this place there security personnel is very strict (just a tip you can't bring any booze inside the hotel, beer price inside the hotel 95 per can and bucket of ice cost 50 pesos) they have personnel robbing around the resort every now and then.

Restaurant - they have a restaurant inside the hotel but this is the sad part begins :( the service is very poor nagkakagugulo ang staff nila ke marami or kaunti ang tao. The restaurant is run by Max's so alam na fried chicken! Nothing special on the menu i was expecting na the food is fresh and syempre tabi ng dagat so seafood but sadly the food is parang sa fast food chain lang ok na din no choice. We ordered chicken and pakbet, they serve the pakbet cold :(. We have free breakfast so no choice to go down and eat again disappointing same service i ordered arroz cubana and my hubby pork adobo sorry but it doesn't taste good! Hindi nga naubos ni hubby ang pork adobo.. And the coffee self service forget to mention they have a bar just beside the lobby where you can play billards.

Room - so we choose superior room since dalawa lang kami. The room is great! :) the bed is king size of course you can choose from king bed or twin size bed and this room is good for 2 adults and 2 kids. The view perfect pag labas ng balcony you'll see the beautiful beach and the scenery is perfect! The cr is clean but yung sa shower where you'll switch to shower the hot water ok ang switch (di ko alam ang tawag) pag cold water na it always go down so we have to find a way to para magstay ang switch. May lcd tv and ref syempre aircon is okay and they have complimentary bottled waters and of course coffee ( may electric kettle ang mugs for that naman sa room).

Service - it's fast... Very friendly staff they will always greet you.. May dala kaming hilaw mangga so we asked if pwede nila hiwain and of course we asked for platito and spoon, mabilis ang service but pagbalik ng mangga nakabalot sa plastic tapos lahat disposable ang plate spoon and fork even the cups the plastic cups! But beggars can't be choosy so sige nalang!

Price - i think the price is worth it the superior room is 5.800 for an overnight stay, they offer 3 kinds of room where you can choose from. except for the restaurant medyo pricey talaga.

Saturday weekend getaway with the in laws128556

First time at Canyon Cove at Nasugbu Batangas. This place is far and no signs going to resort glad I download their map. We got the location accurately.

Got their 12 noon and check in time was 2pm and many guests there will check in also. Slow check in system and we got three rooms all on the 4th floor. We had lunch at their resto downstairs while waiting for the room .

Our room was nice because it faces the beach.. But the bed is not modern and the toilet is just ok. Pool was big around three and there's the beach .

They only have one resto , the Island Cafe. Water activities is expensive. The beach is not that color blue. Just ordinary beach. No wifi connection glad I have my 3G. They have souvenir shop and bought my mug and magnet for my collection for reasonable price .

If I will be back again , no coz it's too far and when were on way home naligaw kami no signs at all.128556

My uncle was feeling so generous and treated us for a day trip here!

Pretty resort! Loved the exterior of the hotel, the pool side too was pleasing to the eyes with all those palm trees. I felt like I was in one of those pop kids' house pools in Cali. 128585128129

We only stayed in their cabanas (we occupied 3) near the pool, it was clean, there were trash cans in each one. The beach was okay, it was clean as well but there's something off about it, maybe it was just the pool of people? Hm.

There are a lot of activities you can try too, perfect for the family. Only, it's really pricey. We rented their faux beach volleyball court, it was small and near the cabanas so we were afraid we'd hit someone.

They served yummy foods, Filipino foods! I loved everything we had, sinigang, kare-kare (and their bagoong), fried chicken, etc (I can't really remember na). The one who served us was kind of bangag, though. He kept on forgetting things.

All in all, I enjoyed this day and our stay.
