Scanned my IG pics and I saw this. Well, this photo is ages ago (2012, I think). So as far as I remember, I was with my sister and my niecd to watch an MMFF movie.
What we had: mine was pesto with grilled chicken (numero uno paborito ️
I always have my pasta in penne for easier eating purposes. It's not that oily and the taste is great!! Delish....like me!!
On other note, ate Ai and Mai had carbonara (which I found not that outstanding, just a normal creamy one) and a 3-cheese thin crust pizza.
Pizza was served first. We waited for the pasta and realized it was a wrong decision cos the pizza downscaled its crispiness. :(

Capricciosa has a special place in my heart since it probably ranks top 3 most popular restaurant on Guam, where I grew up. For the uninitiated, Capricciosa is a Japanese style Italian pasta place (not Japanese pasta like Goemon).
Haven't had a fix for over a year now (and using my daughter as an excuse), we visited the place in greenbelt. Unlike on Guam, Cap (as we like to call it) is quite empty here and undeservingly so.
Here's our order:
1. Cream of corn soup (for the baby) - it's so creamy and bursting with corn flavor that I was fighting over it with the baby. Japanese has a way of making corn soup I swear.
2. Marinated tuna calamari salad - probably one of my favorite salads in the world. It's uber appetizing with a perfectly zesty salad dressing combined with chunks of calamari rings (not fried, mine you) and tuna. Four of us finished a large in 5 minutes
3. Capricciosa Lasagna. There's lasagna and then there's Cap's lasagna. It's a lot more soupy and cheesy and less doughy than your average lasagna. Cheese lovers would love this. Upon serving, you just want to eat the entire sheet of charred cheese on the top (see pic to appreciate)
4. Gambereti. I ordered this olive oil based spicy shrimp spaghetti long time ago and remember that I loved it. Ordered it again despite not remembering the name of the dish and thankfully got it right. Spaghetti is al dente, coated with garlicky olive oil that packs a little heat. Added more chili flakes for extra kick. The grande is not so big tho. I think two ppl can finish it (whereas in Guam's Cap, a standard order of spaghetti is enough to feed a whole family of four)
5. Garlic toast - we ordered another one after eating the first (1 PC per person). Enough said.
I still don't know why despite the great food quality, its not as popular as Italianni's, which doesn't even come close in tastiness. Oh well, at least I don't have to fight for a table!

Love their clam chowder. Not too creamy and very healthy due to the veggie and clams plus their capricciosa pizza is delicious. And very affordable.

My peers and I decided to grab dinner after training before we proceed to our day job. The specific request was "not Asian" so we ended up Italian that night.
We got:
4️ - Penne Pesto Cream with Grilled Chicken
3.5️ - Truffle Spaghetti
3️ - Capriciossa Pizza
4️ - Quattro Picante
5️ - Illy Café Latte
The penne pesto cream was really good and creamy and not cloying at all. Chicken strips were very tender and flavorful. The truffle spaghetti was so so until I put in parmesan cheese! The quattro picante is their all meat pizza and was also good. Thin crust perfectly baked and the pizza was flavorful. The capricciosa though was a bit weird for me, as though pimiento spread was used. So I put in parmesan cheese again to see if it would work, ended having a too salty one.
A huge plus that they serve Illy coffee and they do it well.
Since it was a Monday, we were also entitled to their buy 1 take 1 pizza or was it buy 1 take 50% on the second one? #signsofaging Basta, the promo is available every Mondays and Tuesdays.

We've been eating the whole day when we visited here. We just need to meet Clark's parents so yeah.
We just decided to order dessert and share it to each other.
Tiramisu
I love how they presented it. Cutiepie fork shape thing.
I like the balance of the taste. The smoothness of the cream blends well too.
We both regreted that we just ordered one. Nahawa na sa akin si boyfie when it comes to sweets.
Gotta go back here to try their foods. They seem delish. Clark's mom recommended it so why not?

Okay so this review is going to be a bit biased because i had my best friends i haven't seen in a long time with me so i nearly didn't pay much attention to the food. Anyway i like the truffle spaghetti so much. The place was not packed with a lot of people and the servers were very accommodating. Its a nice place to catch up. I just hate that they installed a TV. We were raised not to eat in front of a TV and the fact that I easily got distracted and inability to focus at my friends really bugged me.

There's nothing better than having a nice dinner at a nice italian restaurant. Seriously, their thin crust Pepperoni Pizza tasted so delicious. And their Carbonara was very creamy and tasty making me full yet satisfied.

Tried their seafood pasta and seafood pizza. Service was fast and the food tasted just ok. I'm just not a big fan of tuna I guess. Will probably try something different next time I come back. I would like to come here during game night as well. I hear you can win prizes.

Dropped by here to get me and my friend a pan of pizza beforw movie time. We orderes Quattro picante or the all-meat pizza. Actually i'm not a big fan of pizza, but then why nuts?
Serving time took 15-20 minutes. Well at first taste, i really like it. Packed with meat stuffs and such. It's thin crust and i love every piece of it esp. with hot sauce or chili oil!!!
Their orange juice taste a bit different though.
P.S. No cute servers around ehhh but i was impressed with the server, she even gave us glasses of water even if we never asked for it! Now that's a customer service!

The bf and I had lunch here last sunday. We had capricciosa pizza-good, hamburg -sooooo yummy! It was a perfect match to a toasted bread, but we preferred to put it in our pizza! Haha with their chili oil.... Yuummmmm!! Makes me drool! Haha.. Finally, we were supposed to order chocolate cake but it wasn't available that time, the server suggested oreo ice cream cake- I thought it will be just a small portion of dessert but to my surprise it was huge! Like good for 3 persons huge! Haha.. Not bad for a price of 100++ :)

Quiz Night every Wednesday at Capricciosa! I co-hosted last week's Quiz Night and it was a lot of fun. Happy that the teams had a wonderful time. Food at Capri is good - my faves being the Penne w Cream Sauce (ok, this may not be the exact name on the menu but the folks there know what it is when you mention it), pumpkin pie and Arnold Palmer (not on the menu but you can request for it). The squid ink pasta and chocolate cake are good too!

super friendly and intuitive staff. sometimes service crew can make or break restaurants.
as for the food, minestrone was a bit lukewarm and vegetables 5 minutes overcooked. the eggplant gratin was okay, wonderful if you like cheese. the pumpkin pie was good though. not at first bite. just keep at it until you like it. will order this again. a good pre movie stop.
