Craving for gelato? Visit Caramia Cafe located at Venice Piazza Mall. I got Pistachio flavor gelato for Php90.00 per scoop. 11088110881108811088️ 4/5

S'mores cake.

Layers of chocolate cake with (dark?) choco filling inside. The icing is made of marshmallows I think and the crust is made of sweetened graham.

Best eaten when shared (and with tea) 128522 it was too sweet for me so I can't finish the whole slice. Well, I hope they didn't put sugar on the crust to balance the sweetness of the cake, icing & filling.

Price was okay; a whole cake costs less than a thousand (add 30 for the dedication/greeting). i actually thought Cara Mia is expensive. 128523 might try their gelato cakes next time.

Been hearing some buzz about it for quite some time and as a big fan of cakes, I knew I must definitely give it a try. First time I chanced upon one of its stalls was in Estancia but due to my overly-bloated disposition at the time, I passed up on the opportunity.

I always make it a point to try new cakes whenever we have a special family occasion because I believe that no celebration is complete without one. So far, this day in particular was the most important event that ever came into our lives: The birth of my first niece!!! The first baby in our family. Also the very first great-granddaughter at that. CAKE IS MANDATORY.

Thus, the right moment to indulge in my confectionery favorite. Also a perfectly good excuse to try Cara Mia.

Since I'd be traveling down south to my hometown for a couple of hours, I decided to go for their pastry cake instead of the gelato ones. I searched for something simple, non-threatening, and most especially...light. Lo and behold, I found the Caramella Premia worth 670php (with additional 30php for the greeting).

The description says it's a "Caramel chiffon layered with cashew nuts and moist caramel icing. A light and scrumptious treat!"

Well they couldn't have said it any better. The chiffon was so light and soft. The flower on top was coffee-flavored, and the caramel icing ultimately reminded me of Estrel's. In my honest opinion, it could pass if not for a dupe then perhaps an alternative if you don't have the luxury of time to drop by Sct. Tobias to pre-order and then pick-up.

Another great thing about my experience was that the staff had the initiative to creatively match the greeting to the occasion. It was so cute and playful!

I was very happy with my choice and I highly recommend it. Just don't expect this place to look like a bakery cafe. It usually appears like a stall much similar to the likes of gelato stations in malls. This one in Venice Piazza is in front of Amici and they actually keep all the gelati inside the restaurant.
