The Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium is one great theater for plays and shows. I've the tried the balcony and the view can be straining to the neck and eyes but today, i am comfortably seated in the orchestra section. It is a Rakugo Show - ANA Yose sponsored by All Nippon Airways (ANA) and the Japan Foundation Manila. Rakugo is a traditional Japanese Sit Down comedy show. It is a one man show using minimal props and rely heavily on facial expressions and sounds while telling the audience funny stories. We were treated by no less than four Rakugo Masters with different skills. There was even one who did juggling acts to the amazement of the audience - there was even one volunteer who was barely 7 years old who had to hold a long stick while spinning plate was on top! Amazing. Sadly photography and video was not allowed inside the theater. It is one of those magical theater shows i would love to experience again! Thank you ANA and Japan Foundation for the invite. I hope they visit again in the future to do more shows.

We watched Potted Potter at Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium or what is popularly known as the RCBC Theatre in the 4th floor of RCBC Plaza. The place is small compared to the usual theaters but I liked it since all the audience can see the stage even if they are in the farthest side or level of the auditorium. For the technical side of the show, the stage was well-lit and the audio was not too loud.
We arrived 5mins late and we were shocked that our seats were already occupied! Luckily, the usher assisted us to the better/nearer seats instead of asking the people who got our seats to transfer. :)
The place was really conducive for musical play and I will definitely go back to watch another show!

Best seats last night! Oh I love this Auditorium
Instead of the normal movie night. We've decided to watch this BRAVE MUSICAL.

A heartbreaking and heartwarming off-broadway musical. #danigirlmnl wasn't all about cancer. The play wanted to inspire the audience, embrace hope, accept what is and make the most out of life. This theatrical production was made possible by @thesandboxco
Seriously guys I've cried, laughed, cried and laughed so much. Such an amazing experience.
The last two shows are tonight though So try to reserve tix

Viva Atlantis and 9Works are the few Theater Productions who stages show at Carlos P. Romula Auditorium. The Theater is located at the 4th floor of RCBC Plaza. I might say the crowd of the theater is medyo sossy! Hahaha.
