Was visiting my friend in Alfaro Place and noticed that Cartel was right across. I know it's one of her faves so I asked for her recommendation since we have the same taste too 128522
Love the interiors! A bit dark but not gloomy, the combination of lights and industrial pieces made it very classy. As per my friend's reco, I got the #2 Cold Brew which is sweet and creamy (cos I can't take black). I also tried their snickerdoodle cow not a lot of shops here have that 128513
Really enjoyed my cold brew and actually took me a couple of days to finish it! It's definitely strong that's why I didn't want to finish it in one day 128513 it also maintained its taste even after a couple of days. Would love to try their food next time!

I've seen Cartel several times whenever I am in the area for meetings and told myself that I will visit this place one of the days. The opportune time came when I got in the area hours before another rendezvoos.

I got myself a vanilla flat white and chocolate croissant since I wanted something light. It was great! What I like most about this place is that they give you that relax and coxy feel. I was enjoying in my little corner doing work stuff while jazz music is playing at the background. They have outlets too so definitely a plus if you need an alternate workspace!

I will most likely come back to try their other food. They also have sandwiches, salads and other deli products!

Looking around for a coffee shop along Leviste while waiting for an event nearby and being tired of the usual green colored crowded coffee shops I randomly noticed Cartel's.

Charmed by the cafe /deli set up ,at first I ordered the daily brew which at first I've tasted that it was like an Ethiopian origin bean having those full bodied character yet with hints of fruits and liquourish components, and as I confirmed it ,it was.128512

I wasn't planning to eat anything because a wonderful meal is looming an hour and a half away.
However the gloomy unpredictable weather induced hunger on my system. So I went to the counter again and grabbed a light item ,saw cakes, quiches and muffins but I preferred the savory Bruschetta Ham.It was an assembly of farmer's ham, bruschetta, cream cheese, sun dried tomatoes, green olives and arugula. The melee of textures and flavors was a dandy , I like how the nutty and pungent arugula calmed the salty character of the ham and olives, spot on bruschetta ,nice tanginess and intense fruitiness of the dried tomatoes.

The interiors have this dim but enchanting vibe of wooden flank tables, with some black and grey hues with amber lighting. Coupled with easy listening, latin jazz and some contemporary jazz tunes.

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable which is a big plus.

**they also sell different delis like hams, wines, packed salads, theo pilo chocolates , Filipinos biscuits and more.***

Thanks for all the recommendations, this is a legit credit for you guys! Just broadened my caffeine fix place. Finally tried here thanks to my new work it’s close to the shop.

Anyway, this is actually a deli where they sell several salads, breads, and cheeses... and coffee by yardstick!

128204128525 Mocha @165/ 185PhP
This was during my first visit, i was hesitant to take one knowing it’s my second cup for the day. But i didn’t regret it! The small cup got one shot and the larger cup got two shots of espresso. I like that the chocolate is stronger than the espresso. The choc taste is not that sweet, more on the cocoa type. The texture is likable as it’s not so thick. Latte art is not that skillfully made like the ones at toby’s but... never Mind hehe.

128204128525 Salt and pepper v2 @165PhP
Super recommend this limited edition drink thanks to Angela Marie C, i bought this on my second visit. Why? Because it’s not your ordinary cafe mocha— it got pink salt making it a little salty, and french mint oil which makes the drink extra cozy in the mouth. Coffee “pepper” as finishing touch for the cup. One size only

128204 Spinach quiche @160PhP
I find it okay, “eggy” taste, and Sandy P was right AF to add that tabasco with the quiche. Tasted better.

To more visits here! Gotta try their carbonara (yeah Peanut D)
And to more makati sessions too makati peeps!

If you're on the hunt for the best carbonara in Manila - you have to try Cartel's!!!!

I had no expectations going inside this place. Mainly because I was expecting to have some ramen at Mendokoro but surprise surprise, there were hordes of people waiting outside. I was too hungry and would pass out of hunger if I waited. Lol tama ka Marc M 128514 Intense ng pila.

So I walked around and found this spot. Looked super nice inside. They sell pastries, bread, cold cuts and even chocolates inside.

I knew it was going to be good because I remember reading good reviews about this place on looloo. But I didn't expect to be super impressed by it! What a sweet surprise. 128525

I will definitely return to try their coffee and other dishes next time! But for now, their carbonara is the bomb and worth the stomach pain I was in the following day. 128514

SUPER CUTE PLACE.

I can't wait to go back and try their meals, we already had dinner when we went here so we just had drinks to end the night.

We tried the Hot Chocolate and the Iced White. I liked both. They are both flavorful and the sugar level was just right, not too sweet, just the way I like it 10024

Loved the ambiance. Loved the selection of food, a little bit pricey but worth it. You can't hang out too long because of how the chairs were designed (no back rest) I think it was made that way so people just comes and goes.

Easily one of my go-to coffee places in Makati is this beautiful cafe in Salcedo. Cause why not, they serve Yardstick coffee, offers great food and is also a deli shop on the other hand.

I stick to my favorite coffee from Yardstick that is their Vanilla Flat White. It's smooth, and has the same flat white intensity but with a touch of some sweetness. Presentation wise, I like the latte art and how smooth the top is.

My favorite ham and cheese brioche is now Php 80 128557128557 I am sad cause it's Php 5 increase since a few months back. Anyways, we tried their pulled pork sandwich which is really good. It has quite a lot of red bell pepper which gives an extra taste, and makes it smells good. The pork is tasty and the buns are toasted perfectly. You'd know they're fresh since it's a little crunchy on the outside but really soft on the inside. Plus the well seasoned pull pork, it sure gives you a good pair.

We also tried their carbonara that's in fettuccine pasta, with really creamy sauce that has some bacon bits and mushroom with it. And it's also really cheesy!!! One serving is definitely good for 2. I like how creamy it is but nothing too "umay" about it.

The place is cozy, with efficient wifi and they have this newly added table at the corner making it perfect if you'll stay for a quite a while. They also have different pastries and also sells this local biscuits.

If you're around the area looking for some place to chill or have coffee at, you have to give this one a visit!

It was a Sunday morning, just when I thought it's still early at 8am, surprisingly, a lot of people were enjoying their breakfast already. Good thing there's still one table available.

I ordered for their Chorizo baked eggs (P290) which is a best seller! It's sooo good! You just have to dip the bread and the rest is history 🤣🤤

For the coffee, I ordered the usual, Flat white (P160) they have the same coffee supplier as Yardstick 10084

Overall, I love the place, the coffee and food, the staff were very friendly, accommodating and great service.

The salt and pepper was interesting! And I liked dipping my chocolate chip pull apart monkey bread in my coffee as i ate it.

This place has got this deli / cafe vibe you don't normally find in other cafe's. This made me want to explore the deli side of the menu the next time i visit!

Love cartel! Love the place, ambience, pastries and especially the coffee. I'm always here when I'm in the area. This time I was here particularly early because of a meeting. Decided to order my regular flat white( excellent) and I tried a bacon and egg croissant. The croissant was ok, the eggs excellent, the bacon I wish was
More. For a 200 peso sandwich I'm sure it goes to the rent but regardless... this is one awesome place!

I've been eyeing on Cartel Deli for the longest time I can remember and finally had a chance to stop by. The reason why I wanted to visit them is for one they're a deli shop with salad, cold cuts and freshly baked breads. Plus, their coffee is from Yardstick so rest assured it's great.

And they did not fail me. I tried their Vanilla Flat White which I am happy to have found finally. It's smooth, creamy and nothing too strong. Vanilla Flat White or Latte is my drink when I'm looking for caffeine but wanted it naturally sweetened. Medium cup is Php 165. Not bad.

Their ham and cheese brioche is the real deal. I love how toasted and sweet their brioche buns are. The cheese is melting, and the ham, oh the ham. Generous serving of sliced ham. It's soft and seasoned well. That's why they're a deli shop!

Not sure if their 2 ham and cheese brioche and coffee of the day is still available for just Php 165 every morning. What better way than to start with that, right?

Oh I love this place!! I love their food and how friendly their staff are plus really cozy. Definitely coming back.

How happy (very happy) was i to know that this is on same street where i am working! 128513 I stumbled upon this coffee shop during Holy Week, where a majority of restaurants and cafes were closed.

With so little time, I just grabbed an Iced Chai Latte (150php) 10052️ Very refreshing and it had a similar taste with Red Coconuts' Iced Chai Latte 10084

The baristas were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food they are serving 128077🏻128521. Definitely will come back for their food offerings 9786.

I've always been curious about Cartel ever since the Pokemon Go craze started. Right in front of Cartel, there's 3 PokeStops there. 128514 Though I don't play anymore, I wandered here one day for lunch.

I needed a pick-me-up so I decided to get some coffee too. The barista recommended the Salcedo Swing which is their cold brew with rose water. 128563 Damn it was strong! It was pretty good, but it was more on the sour side rather than bitter.

I also got their carbonara because I was starving and didn't think an expensive sandwich will appease my hunger. It was good. Pretty big serving.

The space has this rustic feel to it with the wooden decor. They use corks for their numbers too 128514 Pretty creative and resourceful. It can get pretty packed for lunch. A lot of people came and went with take outs because the place was already filled.

P.S. Their toilet's pretty spacious too! 128077🏼

Cartel Coffee Deli is a new addition to leviste st in Makati. This place is a one stop place to chill have a great food and coffee/alcohol. The place is a great combination of some welllknown item in the food scene like coffee by Yardstick, jamon by Txanton, organic produce by Holy Carabao Farm and chocolates & pastries by Belge & Co. Very nice line-up. For the looks of the place I love the very conematic feel from the lightings and space. I love the total overall feel of the place.

For my visit I grab an order of Hot Chai Tea, Chicken Mesclun Salad and Creamy Pesto. The Hot Chai was 511088️ good! I love the thick foam texture and delicious relaxing flavor of this chai tea. For the salad I was quite disappinted. Chicken was bit size and the dressing was a bit lacking in flavor. Maybe because it was organic. Just not my type. The creamy pesto is another 511088️ dish for me. Creamy delicious good!

Overall I love this place. Another coffee place I have for my tambayan. 128522

To cap off the week, I'm in search for best tasting coffee. I happened to be in Makati and my feet took me to Cartel.

This is an awesome place. Nice lighting, spacious, chillax music, and they got pastries, deli, and some liquors. Coffee served is is by Yardstick. ♥️♥️♥️ On a Friday they are open til 1AM.

For Coffee, I ordered White Coffee (large size for P160). Its soooo good! Bold coffee flavor. Though since its has milk foam on top, its not that hot.

Then, after 30 minutes, I still find myself looking at their menu mounted at the cashier. Their "nightcaps" caught my attention. Its coffee with Liquor. The barista recommended the Espresso Martini No 1 ( btw they got No. 2 also) its a 5 oz drink for P290. Small margarita glass, it has coffee and a taste of tequilla. Small yet there's kick!

Hope to try their sandwiches, omelettes, pastas and salad next time128522

Tip: they have a daily happy hour from 5pm-8pm, nightcaps is only P200.

I like the overall elan of this deli. Since it doubles as a market, it’s nice to be surrounded with both local and international goods. But what takes centerstage here are their sandwiches and coffee. They also have egg dishes and salads that are perfect for anytime of the day.

Of course I had the Yardshake! So glad they partnered up with Yardstick for their coffee offers. For non-coffee drinkers, they have a lot of choices too like that Butterscotch Milkshake. And yes, those are crafted by Yardstick too.

Their sandwiches are pretty awesome too! Their Roast Beef Sandwich was just flavorful. Coupled with the cheese and peppers, it’s perfect for lunch. As for their Grilled Three Cheese Sandwich, it was simple yet very tasty. They added some caramelized onions that made this classic unique.

Surprisingly an enjoyable cup of coffee despite the seemingly odd ingredients. The "pepper" is actually roasted coffee beans inside a pepper mill. 9749️🤔
