When you're in Cebu, you have to drop by at the Original Casa Verde. The outdoor place is currently under construction when we went there. But nevermind that and just focus on the food. The service was fast. We tried the buffalo wings which goes really well with their sour cream dip. The breakfast tapa is what I've tried and it's juicy, tender and soft all at the same time. Now, their ribs are seriously soft. And considering how generous every slab were, you'll be amaze by how cheap it is. You can just have one order of the ribs, and an extra rice for two people if you're really on tight budget. I will keep coming back to Casa Verde. This is highly recommended for a meal that will satisfy your tummy out at an affordable price.

This was where I first met Brian and his ribs (lols, Brian's Ribs 128517)

It was heaven! 128149
The original place was always full of customers which is a good sign that what they serve is yummy 128077🏻. We would sometimes had to wait for our seat or wait for our orders to arrive. But the waiting time is not a problem because the ribs here is a must try! 128076🏻

Though they've branched out (like in Manila), I would still recommend that you visit them in Cebu. 128149

I already love Casa Verde's Brian's ribs even before trying it out here in the main branch12852510084️. Flavourful even up to the bones! I can brag about their generous serving and affordable price compared to the branches here in Manila128522.

I used to always eat here everytime I am in Cebu ,their ribs are best in town . This time back I ordered the roasted chicken it was very good .But it took second to my dessert which was the "bliss o' berry " which was a homemade ice cream cheesecake kinda flavored served like a LARGE cheesecake . So large it can easily serve two people . Maybe even two adults and a child. I not sure really but I am about 240 pounds and used to eating American size portions - reason for me being large unlike my relatives from the province . I recommend trying it you wont be disappointed 128522 My only disappointment is not being able to eat again till I come back again in June 128539

Their main/original branch in Cebu is indeed a box office hit. It was a really big residence like where you can find a large bunggalo house with a big garden/parking space (lot area). It has a cozy and homey ambiance that makes you feel relaxed. Though they were jam packed when we got there, the staff was still very kind to tell us to wait patiently for our table. Food was really good!

My expectations were high when we got to Casa Verde's original location. And you know what, they've exceeded it a bit too much 128514 the ambience and service is also as good as previously reviewed 128077 This will always make me say the original branch is better when I get to eat in another Casa Verde.

Karlamari (calamares) was a good appetizer. Chicken quesadilla has the right taste of Mexican. Brian's ribs IS Brian's ribs. Finally, Death by Chocolate is great because the sweetness is just right for everyone. 127844127835127835127856

A friend took me to the original branch and it was worth the drive! I know we already have this in Manila but the experience is still different as to when you go to the first store. Menu items' names are based on original boarders of the house where this Casa Verde stands. 128513

TGIF? Nah! Casa Verde is the place to be!

BRIAN'S RIBS - for only P228, it will blow your mind! Tender and very big.
ULTIMATE BLAZING NACHOS - P195, totally worth it! Didn't know appetizers could taste so good.
DESSERTS!!!
1. Death By Chocolate
2. Lauren's Lava
3. Victor's Peak

I COULD DIE!

The ambience is really relaxing, fast and efficient, good service and clean facilities.
If ever you're in Cebu City, don't forget to visit this place! :)

Casa verde opened its doors in manila just recently. Ive tried both in manila and cebu and nothing will beat its cebu branch. Ribs in cebu weren't very sweet compared to its manila branch. Plus, we didn't have to wait for our table. Place was jam-packed as well but they have more tables to accommodate all customers at the same time. Ambiance was cozy as well.

The original Casa Verde. The ambiance is nice. The food has the same good taste. Their preparation, though, is a bit slow. Surprised that there isn't a waiting list during lunch.

Great-tasting over-sized food! Definitely, a must-eat restaurant in Cebu.

Orders: Brian's ribs, Milkyway, JJ's pasta, Tricia a la pobre, Barbie's shrimp, Death by Chocolate, Chocolate Lava.

All are delicious!

Service is a little slow though and lighting is too dim.

This for me was the resto that started the ribs hype in Cebu. Little was known to this hidden and underrated restaurant until they started to venture in the mall arena.

Aside from the ribs, they are also famous because of their DBC dessert or better known as Death By Chocolate. An ice cream cake that is supposedly deadly because its too addicting and excessive indulgence will lead to diabetic coma. Hahaha. Kidding aside this chocolatey treat is happiness overload in one serving.

Be sure to come early too because it's full mostly during meal times and weekends. Better yet call them for reservation except for their mall branches that you need to list first and join the never ending queue.

After our arrival at the hotel, which was around 2pm already, we decided to have lunch at casa verde. It was just a few blocks away from our hotel. 128077

We ordered:

127830127837 steak and pasta- this was good, the portion was only good for 1.

10084127830Ribs- THIS was huge. The serving was good enough for the three of us (my mom and sister).

10084️quesadilla- I love quesadilla's and theirs were delicious. The only thing I didn't like was that it was kind of soggy. 128530

Service-110881108811088128079128079 they were attentive. Even though I had a hard time communicating with them 9996128513

Price- 128077128077128077 everything was affordable.

Loved this place and it's a good thing they already have branches in Manila. 128516

I love Casa Verde!! If you will compare it to a restaurant here in Manila, I think it is more of a Chili's type of restaurant! The difference is that Casa Verde is way cheaper than Chili's:-) You can get a steak for less than 300 pesos! What more can you ask for!!!!

Last week i went to Cebu to celebrate the Sinulog festival. We ate twice in here during my stay in Cebu. I highly recommend you to eat here when your in Cebu. Their specialty is Brian's Ribs which only cost 208pesos for a half rack ribs. It taste delicious and for just a plate you'll definitely be full. For desserts, try their chocolate lava cake. They also serve 9 and 12 inches burger.
