"Brian's Ribs : Once you taste me, you'll never forget me"

Baked pork ribs with a sweet, tangy piquet sauce served with rice, corn and carrots

Fall off the bone tender goodness. Yes! This is it. "Sarap to the bones." The single serving size is generous that it can be good for sharing. One of the best tasting ribs I ever had. The sauce is great! Loved the sweet and tangy taste.

The owner and big bosses of this restaurant should be very proud of their staff. I dropped my coin purse upon leaving. I was walking my way to the escalator when I heard one if their servers shouting "sir, sir!" and returned my coin purse. My coin purse is my everything when I am at the mall. It has my cards, id, and cash. So, thank you so much for your honesty! You just don't know how grateful I am.

Dapat pusuan to! 10084

It is really an expectations vs. Reality. Haha! We were 8 in the group and ordered the mighty ton. The cashier then told us that it WAS good for 4-5 ppl only. Then our other colleague thought of ordering more.

When the mighty ton was served, they just wanted to cancel everything the ordered because it was really HUGE! 128514 given the fact that we had 2 lads who can eat more but when they saw the burger without eating they said "busog nako!" Naumay na yata sila. Haha

Last Thursday, I have to cancel my rendevooz dinner @Mango Tree, because of heavy traffic after a raining so hard. Commuting via Uber (surge rates bet 4.2x-3.2x). With long queue going home, I'm stuck with my officemate, Yna N @ Megamall. I miss the looloo peeps though 128549

We just make the most of that time & I remembered this interesting dining place at the lower ground of Bldg B. Casa Verde!!! And we just felt happy to be dining instead of whining.

We are delighted to see everybody's order at their tables. Though we noticed big servings that is group when you dine in group of 4 & up. Menu of Casa Verde is mostly American dishes. Orders are made and settled at the counter.

We enjoyed the following meals (that is good for 2 pax.. No bloated feeling)

Southwest Pasta
Marinated chicken breast served over penne pasta mixed with Alfredo sauce and fajita vegetables. Price: P200+ - i love the bell peppers10084️ with lots of parmesan in it. Not bland nor had overpowering taste. It looks simple yet its tasty and we're happy with it.

Casa Verde Burger
This burger has everything on it: onions, tomatoes, American cheese, lettuce, bacon and fried egg P245 - yes, there's bacon in it and just with that I loved it. Bun is not that good though, but love how everything in it.

P.S: i'll be back for the ribs, heard its good 128523

One of the last bonding moments at Megamall with my bestfriend before she flew out to Australia. We were looking for a new restaurant which we could try out and we stumbled upon Casa Verde Too located at the Lower Ground Floor of SM Megamall B.

I've known Casa Verde as a good place for steaks which I heard from a friend when they dined out at Cebu. Since it was already late afternoon and it was a weekday there were still a few people eating during that time.

We ordered Potato Soup which I loved and we ordered two separate meals, Brian's Ribs for Ched and David Dean's tenderloin for me.

Their serving size is good for two people even though they say that its good for two. The tenderloin meat is soft and the mashed potato is really good and really tasty. The ribs are too big even for a hungry person. I had to helpmy bestfriend finish it so not to waste our food but in the end we just decided to take home what's left.

Overall, I think food is great and it would be best for steak lovers out there

Casa Verde Too is located at the Ground Floor, Building B, SM Megamall, Ortigas, Mandaluyong City

Food on Table:

Southwest Pasta (Php198) - marinated chicken breast served over penne pasta mixed with alfredo sauce, bell peppers and onions 128523128077🏻128079🏻 - i liked the pasta, its delish!!!

Casa Verde Burger (Php225) - tasty beef patties with tomatoes, onions, american cheese, lettuce, bacon with fried egg.128513128079🏻128523128077🏻 - simple burger but yummy, but still charlie's burger still no. 1 for me.

Panama Orange & Raspberry drinks- (Php45 each) -just like a typical ice tea drink

I see simplicity and neatness of the restaurant with a rustic ambiance and a decor which feels more like nostalgia. Awesome posters and picture frames of famous icons were plastered on the walls. Staffs are very friendly. This place is good value for money if you want to eat their tasty meat and pasta without burning a hole in your pocket.128079🏻128079🏻128079🏻

I just dont like how they do the plating oftheir foods its boring..(you can see on the photos attached) 🙄

We ordered Mighty Ton, Brian's Ribs and the platter with Buffalo wings, Mozzarella sticks and Potato Skins with dips (I forgot the name)

All in all servings were huge. It's really bang for the buck.

The Appetizer Platter (again, I forgot the name):
The wings were good and tasty.
The potatoes and mozzarella sticks were a bit bland. I think that's why there were dips.

Brian's Ribs:
Serving was more than we expected. It's enough for 2 to 3 people. Some parts are really soft (almost melts in the mouth). Some parts you really have to grind and exercise the jaw in chewing. But overall it's very good. Too bad the rice serving was not enough.

The Mighty Ton:
The Mighty Ton is the biggest burger I've seen. The patty was good. It had some bacon in it (was also good). There were some veggies and cheese. The only thing that I didn't like was the very thick burger bread. It comes with cheese flavored fries.

We were billed around Php1500 for our order (that includes a pitcher of Iced Tea).

All in all, the place is great. Great food, great servings and Great price (especially if you're eating as a group)!

Death by chocolate is one of casa verde's best seller when it comes to dessert. I was in cebu the first time I tested it. The taste is awesome. It's very creamy and chocolaty.. 128518

So I am not really aware of Casa Verde. You can say I am a loser for that haha. My tita just introduced me to this place.

For the ambiance or the place itself:
Area is sort of "masikip". I had a hard time passing by tables because they have little aisle space.
Interior was cute. It looks like an old Resto with Brick oven meals. I just hate that there's no background music. Felt like I am eating in a canteen. I can hear different people chatting. That kind of noise is sort of stressing me out hahaha. Lastly, they have poor ventilation. Sobrang init. Pero di naman to the extent na pinagpapawisan na ako. Mainit lang talaga maybe because of the light above us (Yung nakasabit above our table) or dahil madaming tao.

For the food and the experience itself;
This place makes you order at the counter. I think there's nothing wrong with that. Then they served us with water. Water was not cold. Not even close. Buti na lang okay yung food.

We ordered "THE BIG BANG" burger. Yup! That's the 9-inch burger. We asked them to slice it in 6. Burger was great. It has a taste of barbecue. Maybe they used a barbecue sauce. Hehe. Then we had the sampler that has baked potato, buffalo wings and mozarella sticks. Sarap! Sobrang sarap nung sampler. Good for sharing ng around 2-3pax. Then we also ordered a pasta that I can't recall the name. It has lots of Bell Pepper. I love Bell Pepper pero I think they put too much of it for a pasta that is good for only 1 person but the pasta still is good. Then we also had Buffalo wings. Too spicy but tolerable (at least for me). Last is what I really enjoyed; Chips and Salsa!!! I think they make their own chips kase when they served it medyo oily pa. But not too oily. I can compare it to the chips from Chili's. And I can say mas better ang Salsa ng Casa Verde from them. (At least for me again haha)

I am saddened that we weren't able to try the huge shake they have. I think its 300+ and its good for 3 persons. In my estimation I think its a litre or more. So I have the reason to come back just to try it. 128522

I've been using looloo for years now, searching and reading reviews about places to visit, where to stay or to eat, but this will be my first time writing a review. As other people say, why not give it a try? So here I am, trying to get more involved with this app.

It was my 4th time dining at Casa Verde. Our usual orders are Brian's Ribs, Steak Ala John Paul, and Peter's Pork Steak. All I can say is their food is very affordable (with regards to the quantity of the food), but as I dine here again and again, there is no consistency (with regards to the quality of the food).

I have nothing against the first time I tried their Brian's Ribs (P 275, P 950) and Peter's Pork Steak (P 275). Both dishes were cooked very well, and I really loved their sauce. I can honestly say, it was sulit! So I came back again, but this time I was not as satisfied as the first time I dined here. The pork ribs were too fatty and the sauce of was too sweet and runny. While the pork steak was a bit bland and the pork itself was not cooked well. It was kind of burnt on the outside and still raw and red-ish on the inside. Hopefully, it would be improved for the betterment of the restaurant.

What I highly recommend is their Steak Ala John Paul (P 288) I love how tender and juicy their steak, and how creamy their mashed potato is. 128076🏼

Overall, I would still recommend Casa Verde, if you want affordable yet delicious food. 128077🏼

We ordered Brian's Ribs and we were surprised that it's big and affordable. The taste is just ok with its price. Their Jon Jay's Steak and pasta is a big disappointment-- pasta is awful considering that its just a simple garlic pasta and the steak is just ok but a bit "malansa". Will I go back to this place? I don't think so. Nothing special about the food. My ratings? Food- 128077128077 out of 5. I liked Casa Verde because of its huge servings and cheap price. They have a lot in their menu that is perfect for everyone!

We had the following...

Brian’s Ribs (P250 for single order or P988 for the bucket), this is their best seller baked pork ribs with a sweet, tangy piquet sauce. This is good ribs however I had different experience about it every time I went there. Seems like their cooking is not standard. Sometimes it was perfect but most of the time the ribs smells bad or they haven’t cooked it well. Also the sauce is good at first but when it gets a while you will get tired of the taste. Oh, single order is plenty enough for two person.

Death by Chocolate (P188), a dessert to die for! Haha Chocolate and nutty rocky road ice cream mixed with chocolate bar bits on a bed of chocolate cookie crust, drizzled with syrup. If you had enough meat you should definitely order this dessert. It will remove the “umay” factor that you had earlier. It was an ice cream coated with chocolate.

Milky Way Milkshake (P345), the biggest milk shake I’ve ever seen. Chocolate milkshake that can be shared to 5 friends! Of course, you get to get your own straw hahaha!

Casa Verde is a good place to bring the whole family! Good food at very affordable prices.

Quite excited when I learned that Casa Verde opened in Megamall. I've never really had an actual meal at Casa Verde aside from that time we had merienda and devoured their awesome Death by Chocolate. My sister and I had high hopes for this place.

When we reached there, we were seated at a table, handed menus and then informed that we were to order at the counter. Huh? Parang ang labo naman but we did as we were told. After paying at the cashier, we were handed a table number and food was delivered shortly thereafter.

Although the server suggested their bestseller Brian's Ribs, we went for the Jon Jay's Steak and Pasta. We loved the perfectly cooked Garlic noodles. You could really taste the garlic flavor. The Steak was a disaster. We were turned off by the malansa taste and the reddish portions. The sauce was ok but didn't do much to cover up the steak's flavor.

Potato skins, cheese and bacon were magic to my ears. I agreed to get the Bacon & Cheese Potato Skins as soon as my sister mentioned it. We felt so sad and depressed when this landed on the table. The potato skins were thick and felt oily. The cheese was a big chunk of blob that didn't taste good. The bacon was hiding. The sour cream was sweet. I think this should have been called Baked Potatoes instead.

My sister said they were known for the milkshakes. We got the Chocolate Milkshake which didn't wow us. We like our shakes thick and creamy, this had ice bits and lacked that rich chocolate flavor that we were looking for.

We weren't satisfied with the portions and flavors of our orders. If we ever give this place another chance, a plate of Brian's Ribs will definitely be on the table.

I present to you!! Casa Verde's not so Lava cake 128532 maybe it was just a wrong timing for us to have that lava cake. It was overcooked cause no chocolate has flowed out when it was sliced but it was good tho! Maybe it would be more delicious if chocolate lave was present! Hihi 128513

I wanted to try Casa Verde's burger and shake. :( But my mom didn't agree cause she thinks it's too big for us to finish it. She then suggested to order some meals instead. These are the chicken fillet, ribs, and steak. The chicken was tender and really good! I envy my bro cause he had a good choice of food. Hehe I had the steak and pasta. If you can see the serving is just few, I was disappointed cause I thought the pasta serving is plenty or the steak will be big. Although the serving was small, their steak is good!! Make sure it's medium rare ;) Lastly, my mother had ribs which is also good; it falls off the bone and it's not chewy and it has lots of meat unlike other ribs! :) For the dessert we had the lava cake and milkshake. Unfortunately, the lava cake was overcooked :( I was so excited for the chocolate to flow off yet there's none, then we had chocolate-banana milkshake which was very refreshing! :)

I'm excited to try their big burger and monster shake soon!! :)

Pay firstt before dine. Such a different style...

We ordered Spaghetti, Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and vegetables, mozz sticks, lava cake and my brother got the steak.

Taste: everything was good except for the pasta.

Noodles in the pasta were super overcooked. The sauce is a bit too bland. Ugh noodles really ruined this dish.

Lava cake it was far from chili's but it was okay. Reminded me of fudgee bar LOL

Food not always served steaming hot. -1
Pasta -1

Service was okay.

Value for money 128077🏻 serving size 128077🏻

DEATH BY CHOCOLATE. chocolate & rocky road ice cream, mixed with chocolate bar bits on a bed of chocolate cookies, topped with rich chocolate syrup.

Wow. Just wow! I might as well just say this is Casa Verde's pride. For 188 pesos, you can share this with a friend or two unless you're nuts about chocolate and decide on ordering this just for yourself. This is what guilty pleasure is like!
