Finally, I'm here 128571 ..I came to this place when Odesssa K visited Manila last week. Our Maginhawa food exploring started at this cafe. 128522 We came here with her sister who is a cat lover and a |ooloo reviewer as well Gina G 128522

In all honesty, I am not a cat person and I think the cats sensed that as well 128517 Visiting the cafe is a nice experience. I like the concept and their advocacy 128077🏻. At the entrance, policy and house rules posters can be seen. House slippers will be used inside the cafe and a payment of 200php will be collected (100php for the maintenance of the cats and the other 100php consumable food/drinks) Every visit lets you stay for an hour of bonding with the cats.

I am not sure if a reservation is a mandatory before coming (which we weren't aware of), but walked ins like us were also accomodated 128522

We arrived at the place around 5pm. Just a few minutes of coming in, came dinner time for the cats. Everyone munched their food which made them feel lazy after 128533 #siestatime ..the cats didn't want to mingle and it took them awhile to come to our place.

We also ordered some food/drink with our 100php consumables:

|3pcs Mushroom Chicken Pesto Mantou (100php) -- 110881108811088

|3pcs Tuna Melt Mantou (100php; one of the bestselling) -- 1108811088

When I was still back studying, where pet cafes are rising and luckily enough there was one in Manila, and it was this one. I have always been excited to visit Cat cafe Manila and I was able to find time to visit.

Before anything else, the people in Cat Cafe brief you on their house rules and make you read the waiver and request you to sanitize before entering.

Theres a 200php fee. 100php goes to the cats and a 100php consumable to order drinks, pastries, etc...

It was an underwhelming experience for me, I ordered Iced tea and a chocolate crinkle cookie, it was ok, nothing new, the cats were so cute, most of them were disengaged when I was trying to play with them so that was a bum.

For all my kindred souls of cat lovers out there, I'm sure you've heard of cat cafes in Japan or Korea. Thankfully, we don't have to save money for a trip to these countries because we finally have one here in Manila! I'd just have to go to good ol' Sikatuna Village in Quezon City to have my slice of Kitty Cat heaven and taste the food that Cat Cafe has to offer, of course.

There's a Php200 entrance fee (Php100 consumable) for a one hour visit. A bit on the pricey side and to be honest, the food isn't spectacular, BUT, you go here for the experience and it's a nice diversion from the usual coffee shop routine. It's also a great place to bond and hang out with your friends and the super adorable kitties. Just don't get too attached that you'd want to take them home because you can't. 128049

The place is quite small but the interior is adorable. The staff are accommodating and they really know how to properly care for these cats. If you're interested in going, reservation is an absolute must because a lot of people frequent this place.

Cheers
Mickey

Calling all cat lovers! And anyone who needs a little warmth and cuteness.

This place is at the 2nd floor, farthest side. Just the right space for the cats. You get to feed them too! For your 200 pesos, 100 goes to the cats and your other 100 is consumable for your 1 hr stay. On food and drinks only! They have really good books and goodies esp. the cat themed mason jars 128571128571128571

I loved the cats the most, especially Dom. Theyre all fluffy and overstuffed, not in a bad way. The staff is cute too!

It's a good place for cat lovers! The place was quite small but enough to accomodate 15 person, went there to tour a friend and to meet one of the owner. There were few cats most of them were rescued, some of them are quite aloof at first, but they'll get used to it, you have to book first before going there as well and there is a fee of 200php. 100 for cat food and the rest is consumable, they have sweets and drink..bring extra money as the 100php ticket might not be enough. I like their matcha white :) and you can stay there for about 1 hour. 128513 I want to come back, but i have some fur allergy so i need to bring mask next time.

If you are a cat lover, this is heaven. 10084️ You get to enjoy 1 hour worth of your time roaming around the small cafe taking pictures of the mimings, or playing with them or cuddling them or just watching them sleep - all of this while enjoying your snacks. Fun indeed. These cats were once stray cats, taken into shelter by CARA. And they are malambing actually. Some of them even approaches you on their own, and sleeps in your lap. And by the way, I heard these lovable cats are up for adoption. So visit the place, take your pick and bring 1 home. (Uhh.. In a legal way of course)128049 Damage is P200 initially, P100 for cat maintenance and the other P100 is consumable for food or their merchandise. Better prepare around P350 per person - that is good enough for the cat maintenance, 1 order of mantou (or you can choose desserts like cupcakes or brownies, but the mantou is the priciest food at P100 for 3pieces) and cold drinks (which is slightly cat themed by the way). So Your visit is actually helping these cats and CARA, while you de-stress yourself. All in all, it is a really good place. It was fun and relaxing. Although when I have reached my 1hour limit, I really don't want to leave. 128514 Oh well. Will definitely come back. 128077🏻128077🏻128077🏻

To start off, I am not a cat person but I have no quelms going to this place every now and then. Info on cats: they're really damn cute. Watch them during feeding time and you'll see the most disciplined cats. It's also fun to see them jump on every nook of the cafe. Info on the menu: witty and playful with names, plus it's really good too. Did i mention witty. It's really funny.

The Catvocacy of Cat Cafe Manila.

What separates Cat Cafe Manila from the others is that they take in shelter cats from CARA and their advocacy in finding permanent homes for the shelter kitties.  Cat Cafe with a cause.

We visited the café during the soft opening.  You have to register online for the reservation.  The app they use is pretty nifty as it sends an E-Ticket once the reservation is confirmed.  This needs to be presented upon entry.

For php 200, you get to spend time with the kitties and a portion of the fee goes to CARA.  Did i mention that the amount is inclusive of snacks and or memorabilia from the café.

Similar setup from the other kittie cafés.  House rules,  disinfect,  register and off with the shoes.

The place is small and cozy.  The walls are painted white,  hence you dont feel claustrophobic.  White walls is best for small spaces.  The white gives a spacious illusion and it looks pretty dainty.  Japanese tables,   pillows and kittie furniture.

Bicco is the resident entertainer of the cafe (He found his forever home though,  he got adopted a couple of weeks back).  Bicco welcomes the guest by purring,  such a sweet cat.

Chaka is another cat that caught my kittie radar.  White with orange streaks.  She is as playful as Bicco.  I assumed that Chaka is a she.  128522

Oreo is the reserved one.  Shy and likes to hide inside the kittie apartment.  He is the cutest among the kitties as he is black with white patches strategically placed on his paws and snout.  If he was mine,  I'd probably name him Bruce (not Springsteen,  Bruce as in Bruce Wayne.  (Note: Oreo got adopted too)

We ordered coffee and pastries while lounging around with the kitties.  I wasn't  expecting much with the refreshments but the brewed coffee is pretty decent,  same with the pastries.  I got a blue velvet brownie.  A lil blue on your brownies wouldn't hurt.

Cat Cafe Manila is one of its kind.  Incomparable to the others.  If you have a soft spot for rescue kitties,  visit Cat Cafe Manila and support their Catvocacy.

Welcome to the Cat Cafe. As the name implies, is full of cats. When you enter, make sure you read the shop reminders to ensure your safety and that of the staff and the cats. Entrance fee of 200 php is consumable and will get you an hour's stay while you play with the cats. We caught feeding time which of course was followed by bathroom time. If you have a sensitive nose, avoid feeding time. Cupcakes are okay, and they also sell cat- inspired trinkets. If you need some pet therapy, hop right on to Cat Cafe Manila.

It's PURRty time! But really I had fun interacting with the felines here, especially the one named Chaka. For me, she's not chaka at all! She got a fluffy tail and sooo sweet! I feel loved! Hahaha. Kidding aside, I really enjoyed the one hour stay here considering that I am more of a dog lover. Maybe, because it's a first time that I got to be in a place where animals and humans can mingle and enjoy each other's company. Not to mention that the mantou beef taco that we ate is simply delicious. Meow 128571

Finally, Manila has two cat cafes currently operating. (The other being Miao Cat Cafe.) I have been to one in Tokyo and another in Seoul; they both have one thing in common - they're quite expensive! (500 pesos++ for 1 - 2 hours) Luckily, you don't have to travel that far and pay that much to experience a cat cafe. For only 200 pesos, you get to spend an hour or so with Cat Cafe Manila's feline residents and the price already includes a snack or a drink (100 pesos consumable). The best part is, the money you spend here is actually helping these cats, most of which were rescued from the streets. (They used to be called "pusakal" or "pusang kalye" but they're now known as "puspins" or "pusang Pinoy".) And yes, they're up for adoption!

Visited this place about a week ago! Been wanting to check out our local cat cafes.

Entrance is 200. 100 goes to CARA while the other 100 is consumable. I got a cookie and iced tea, which went above the consumable amount so I just paid extra. Food is just okay.

The cats are all rescues. They're cute although I was hoping they'd also have different cat breeds here like grumpy cat, hehe.

The place is a bit small but cozy and tidy. The cats are clean and have no odor. But cats, by nature, are snobs. About half are just sleeping or minding their own business. Don't expect a cat to just walk up to you.

The owners and staff are really friendly. Make sure to chat them up about their 'catvocacy'. They also know the background of each cat.

They accept walk-ins but I think it's better to just call ahead and reserve. They're closed on Mondays. I went on a Tuesday and it was pretty packed.

That's Ian playing with Chaka. Chaka is a rescue cat, just like all the cats in the café. She has the sweetest disposition and would really go near you, asking for some loving.

How do things work here?

You can get a reservation or walk-in. We didn't have a reservation because we didn't know we needed to do that. But they are open to walk-ins if there is enough space inside.

The ticket is P200 per person, for 1 hour stay. P100 goes to the cats, P100 is consumable. They mostly have ice blended drinks, coffee, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, etc. Admittedly, a bit steep.

We shared a brewed cup of coffee, a banana-toffee cupcake, and a black sesame seed cookie. It was all nice. The cookie could use some more black sesame, but it is soft and chewy.

Chaka, and another cat, Ling-Ling, are the friendliest of the bunch, we read up on their profiles on the wall and there are three more cats that are really friendly, but they're currently sleeping. We are not keen on waking cats up. They also have a feisty one, Bicco, who really wants to go outside. Some cats aren't too keen to being touched, like Trigger. And one who is a little scared of people and the other cats, like Oreo.

Here is where it gets tricky, there were few people when we got there because a big group just left. We were all chilling. Ling-ling fell asleep while I was petting her and Chaka cozied up to Ian and eventually slept as well. Those two were really sweet. Some of the hosts were trying to get some of the other cats interested in play. Bicco was running around, Oreo was trying to peek out, and Trigger was plain and simple hiding.

Then, a big group arrived and things started to get a bit stressed. Trigger is the prettiest by far, with beautiful orange stripe and people are keen on touching him, grabbing him, trying to get him out of the hiding place. But Trigger is scared and doesn't want the attention. Some people don't understand this and insisted on playing with Trigger. I think he was stressed out.

Though it was clearly stated the one must not lift, grab, or carry the cats, some still do that. When there's a big, loud group, things can get a little tensed. Some kitties are not ready for the attention and most the cats are tired. I think Sunday was a busy day for them to be tired by 7-8pm.

Maybe the hosts should be more firm with their guests in the interaction with the cats. They can educate the guests about the different personalities and the proper way of interacting with each of them. We all want to give them a better life after all.

Also, I think they should re-do their floor, as its done with tiles and too slippery. Bicco, the feisty one, was playing with some of the guests, but he kept on slipping while chasing after his toy. Then he would get scared after slipping. That's not a good thing.

On the really positive side, I love that they are taking care of rescued cats. They are promoting cat rescue and adoption. And I fully support that. The "adopt don't shop" principle must be developed in the Philippines.

Though this cat café is not as relaxing as the one I found in Hong Kong, it is a good start. The café has the potential to teach people about cat care and interaction, cat rescue, and adoption. I hope this would be developed further.

The puspins in the cafe are very cute and friendly. It is a nice place to relax while spending some play time with the puspins and drinking an ice blended drink. The cafe is very clean and they have a restroom inside. Sanitizers are also provided. Before going home, you can buy some of their cute cat souvenirs. 128571
