We ordered Tom Yum, Phad Thai, Prawn Cakes and Beef Rendang.

Tom Yum - 4.5 stars. The flavor is perfect. The serving is a bit small, but perfect to share with my hubby since we ordered a lot. My only criticism is that it did not contain big prawns. Instead, it has medium shrimps, about 4 or 5. Nonetheless, the shrimps tasted fresh and were cooked perfectly.

Phad Thai - 4.5 stars. The plating is very pretty. The waiter mixed it for us. The photo was taken after it has been muxed already. Noodles are al dente. Flavor is spot on. It would have been perfect with just a bit of chili.

Prawn Cakes - 4.5 stars. Very crunchy which I love. It tasted great, I can really taste the prawns. However, the color of the meat is white and has a consistency of a squidball so I am not sure if this was made from scratch. Tasted great anyway. We ate only half so we took home leftovers. I heated the leftovers the next day and it still tasted great.

Beef Rendang - 3.5 stars. It was just ok. Beef is flavorful but was a tad dry. The veggies are cooked well - still crunchy.

Thai Iced Tea - 5 stars. Really good!

Service - 5 stars. The restaurant was practically empty when we came in Sunday night. We were served well.

Shout out to Groupon for intoducing me to Celadon! Was browsing for deals on the internet and chanced upon this offer 128512 P1,400 for P3,000 worth of food... I had never heard of this place before but since the deal said Rockwell Powerplant, I decided to try it out and was sure glad I did!!! Celadon is a Modern Thai restaurant on Lopez Drive... it's cozy casual ambiance and pastel interiors makes for a relaxing dining experience 128512

Each item we ordered was very well presented...often with a little orchid flower 128076
Here are the dishes we got to try :

* Grilled Squid with Pomelo Salad @340 - this was meh.. so so since the pomelo was a tad dry 128533

* Tom Yum Kung - Hot and Sour Prawn Soup @170 a bowl -- 128077

* Tod Man Kung - Prawn Cakes @P325 for 5 pcs. served with sweet chili sauce 128156128077

* Phuket Kung Sarong - Deep fried prawns wrapped in dragon noodles served with relish and sweet chili sauce @P410 for 5 pcs. -- 128156128077 Plus points for the presentation 128512128512

* Tempura Soft Shell Crab -- P410 -- 128528128528 Not really impressed with this... except for the yummy tamarind sauce that came with it which was yummy!

* Chicken Mangosteen in Red Curry --- @P380 -- Oh my, rice overload on this one coz the curry sauce is really good! 128556 128156128077

* Phad Thai -- Thai style fried noodles with pork, tofu and bean sprouts wrapped in an eggnet @P360 128077128156 Very unique and tasty 128512

* Takhoo Sakhoo -- Tapioca pearls made like steamed cake in pandan cups topped with coconut...@ P200 for 5 pcs.. --- 128156128156128156

This place is a bit pricey but good128513 I'm lucky to have gotten such a great deal... Cheers to group buying sites!!! 128077128156128525

Ordered:
1. bagoong rice super yummy!!! I love the fact that there's a crunchy little shrimp that adds flavor aside from the bagoong, green mango, egg, cucumber and chili. Worth it!
2. Tom yum shrimp was also good! Just the right amount of anghang
3. Chicken pandan super yummy din!
4. Pad thai was okay its more on the sour side

This is my first try of Thai food.
The servers were very accomodating. They will help you choose the beat food to order.
The serving is a bit slow.
The place is cozy and relaxing.

We ordered Thai Green Chicken Curry and Pad Thai. The server oriented us to the type and kind of food that we ordered.

Definitely an Aplus!!!

We celebrate Father's Day here. tom yum kung is okey but need more kick authentic na. Pad thai taste like yung binebenta sa mga kanto sa Bangkok pwede na. Thai Chicken Satay is good but it taste chicken satay in Bali the dip is so delicious.
Green chicken curry sarap niya parang nasa Chang Mai ako.
Over all food is good, medyo mahal lang coz serving is small. Pahabol spring rolls is not good. Since today is Father's Day they give hubby FREE tapioca pearls.

This was the only resto open when we were looking for a place to eat. Celadon is actually a sister company of Via mare. It's located where oyster bar used to be. I was actually a big fan of oyster bar so I was disappointed when i learned that it closed down already.

The interior was not as nice. I didn't like the whole arrangement of the resto, i felt that it was more spacious before when it was still oyster bar. Also, the resto looked as if it was 10 years old.

I was not the one who ordered so I didn't get the names of the dishes we ate but all of them were for sharing. Overall, i did like the food especially their pandan chicken and pad thai. All the other dishes were good as well, not sure if it was because my expectations were low coming in.

I ate here after some shopping. The ginger pork was good and the service too. But the rice was over cooked. I would come back again though to try the other dishes on the menu.

You know that crushing feeling when your mind is already set on trying something only to find out that it's out of stock or worse, GONE??!

Went to Powerplant Mall to specifically and finally try Achiote (Dave is always on a search for a good Mexican joint) only to find out that it CLOSED! 128555 I swear I need to get out of Alabang more to be updated!

The only thing that could lift the dark veil of my face was a good piece of deep-fried pork fat and I know where to get it BUT nobody else wants greasy, salt-laden Filipino comfort food 128557 so we ended up in Celadon.

We were greeted by pastel green colors and butterflies on the walls. Very nice. The first female server was probably having a bad day because she was constantly spaced out. Service greatly improved though when she was replaced by another server.

We had the green chicken curry which was not bad but I really want the thick kind and this was a little watered down, chicken pandan which my daughter liked (didn't get to try it) fresh spring rolls, pad Thai (pretty good), vermicelli-wrapped prawn and grilled prawns for my son. They were slightly overcooked 128533

Maybe it was my disappointment about the Achiote deal but forgive me when I say that most Thai restaurants that I've tried here has that generic taste to it. There was no leap of strong flavors that makes Thai food very appealing. Don't get me wrong. It wasn't bad, some of the dishes are actually good; just not KaBOOM enough 128528 I suddenly had the urge to go to People's Palace or to Soms, or heck to my Thai-chef/instructor's kind of hole-in-a-wall place that has that crazy lady standing outside her resto somewhere in Makati.

Celadon is still pretty good, I mean I'd go back for the Thai iced tea (which was very very good) and give the other dishes a shot (maybe just a bad day for the kitchen?) Unfortunately it just didn't push the Mexican grub- conditioned head/gut disappointment away.

I love thai food. And theirs was authentic thai food that fit in your budget. I enjoyed everything I ordered from pad thai, tom yum, chicken pandanus to sticky mango rice. The sticky mango rice was so good it blew away my mind. I would go back to this place. Yummy!

Not bad at all
Tom ka Gai a little laking in creamyness but lab Gai was excellent. Pork yellow curry with pineapple was certainly worth the gamble (if not Hawaiian pizza who orders pork and pineapple ?
Over all good food. Friendly staff and value for money.
Yes I will be back

Food was just ok. Relaxing interior, butterflies on the wall.

Tom yum kung - Soup was not that hot and spicy
Chicken pandan - Chicken was crunchy inside and out
Cinnamon pork ribs - Too sweet for me, nakakaumay
Bagoong fried rice - Nothing so special

For the price, I'd rather go to Mango tree bistro or Som's. Their paper bag for take out doesn't look like food to go, more like a gift wrapped.127873128077 (upper left photo)

My daughter on the other hand would rate it 4 stars I think. She liked the chicken and finished the bagoong rice, she called it orange rice!I had to order an extra cup of plain rice127834

I'm a huge fan of Thai cuisine. I've probably tried most of the Thai places in Manila and in Cebu but I still can't tell which one's authentic even though they all claim to be authentic or some fusion of something.

Anyhooha, I'm gonna base my review on how they, well, tasted. We ordered Chicken Satay, Gai Mangosteen Curry (Chicken in red curry sauce with mangosteen) and Phad Thai.

Chicken Satay- grilled with some hints of curry powder, add some peanut sauce and vinegar. Perfect! Always been my favorite. You can't screw it up!

Gai Mangosteen Curry- it was okay. I've had better curries. :-/ I thought adding the mangosteen was unnecessary. I wish it were more spicy. We didn't have the option to ask for the spiciness level. Or prolly we did but we just didn't ask. Hehe

Phad Thai- it was okay, too. Average. I have to try the Phad Thai in Thailand. I'm honestly baffled right now cause it's just okay and I don't know what to say.

Overall, ambience was good. Hated the music but I guess it kept the place more approachable than being pretentious. Haha

Oh, we had the classic Thai Iced Tea. It was too milky. Errrrr.

Newest of the Restos in the Powerplant mall beside Via Mare. The pad Thai was lackluster but their other dishes were quite ok. Can get a bit packed during the peak hours as it is quite new.
