After learning from April H that century mall cinema has the same rate with glorietta and greenbelt, I suggested to my buddies why not try watching a movie in century mall instead. So happy that we did.
Upon entering the cinema we were surprise that it was a small room for a cinema house. It was like a home theater room in one of those episodes of Crib. I think the capacity is just a 100max. The chairs were very comfortable. I love the head cushion it was very soft and the back chair got that nice flexibility. Leg room were also spacious. The best part was the entire cinema were very clean. Sounds and screen quality were also superb. Great crowd!
For the movie Honor Thy Father. It was really a great disturbing movie. This is the kind of movie that will move you and disturb you. A filipino movie that you will be proud of. Great acting and cinematography. Galing mo JLC! Erik Matti bravo!!!

Another reason why we went all the way from Quezon City to Makati today is to watch Star Wars!!!128525128525128525128525

I am a big fan of the franchise, but I'm not one to watch movie premieres (unless invited)... I prefer watching movies at the cinemas I like, never mind if I'm not the first to see the film... Comfort is king... The cinemas at Century City Mall are a particular favorite of mine at present...

Reasons why I like this cinema:
1) It's pretty small, keeping the feel intimate...
2) The sound system is already good... They don't make the sound blaring that I feel my eardrums are about to burst... Unlike Greenhills...
3) The place is not too cold either, unlike in Greenhills again!128531 a light jacket is enough...
4) Since the mall is relatively new, the seats aren't worn and the place doesn't have a musty smell...
5) Plus, it's always kept clean by their staff... No sticky spots! Not to mention their very clean rest rooms on this floor...
6) I like the crowd, not rowdy or obnoxious...
7) There's a Taters branch just outside, which serves the best white cheddar popcorn!128525
8) Toby's Estate branch on the same floor that offers buckys and of course coffee! 128525

That's why I prefer CCM cinemas!

Star Wars was the absolute bomb!!! Great pick for their new actors! Plus, JJ Abrams is just a genius! I'm such a fan of his work! The franchise is in the best hands... Loved the movie!!!!!128525128525128525128525

Watched A Second Chance here because 1) I know this is an intimate cinema and 2) it's accessible. It was a total sold out for the first day so we really had to go mall hopping and ganon talaga, sold out hanggang 10PM show kahit saang mall sa makati. Six pm pa lang non 128557128557 I told my bessie to go to the mall the next day at 2PM (bc i have classes) and we had 4:40 showing.
As what expected, sold out show din (buti umabot kami). But the good thing is the cinema was in peace because there were few seats compared to other cinemas.

Love the cozy cinema but not the movie! 128532128532128532Super duper mega over not worth to watch. It's indeed a part 2. Not much action, nothing much happening except to just end the story.

Watched San Andreas here with my boyfriend. Love their cinema and since I like small cinemas because it has just few people, literally their mall is not crowded with people. Lol. Their seats are cozy and so comfy.

Watched "Man from U.N.C.L.E." and it's really a good movie! Just my type of action - right amount of action, witty lines and cool actors 128522

I prefer Century cinemas among Makati cinemas now.
(1) since the cinemas are smaller, there are less people and lesser people in general in the mall too (2) newest among the rest and therefore not worn out yet
(3) i actually love the side seats - especially if one comes in late hehe

Would for sure continue to watch movies here 128516

Went out last Saturday with a new friend and we decided to watch a movie and have dinner at Hole In The Wall. I actually suggested that we go here instead of Rockwell because I haven't watched a movie here. Hehehe128517

He was willing to watch Paper Towns with me (additional pogi points for kuya! Hahaha!), but I don't think he'll appreciate it since it's a chick flick. So yeah, I watched Ant Man again. I didn't mind watching again because the movie is really good.

Anyway, I was expecting the theater to be really cold, but it was surprisingly warm and cozy inside. There were times that the A/C would be a little cooler, then go back to being warm. I like how there are only about 50 seats inside, makes watching more intimate.

Last full show starts at 9 or 10, which I think is quite too early specially for a weekend.

As much as I love how comfy the seats in this cinema are and the fact that it's smaller compared to others, I was a bit disappointed for pee smell welcomed me when I entered Cinema 2 which I think was odd because the comfort room is outside. It ruined this whole experience, wasn't able to enjoy the movie at all. 128529

This time watched this local movie because my sister wanted to. Huhuhu i had no choice 128532128532 nagsayang kami ng 500php. Sana kinain nalang namin! 128514

i still loved the cinema though i hated the movie. somehow i disliked the cinema na rin for having such cozy chairs/couches which made my struggle x100 to fight not dozing off during the movie! 128514128514

Watched Jurrasic World with a friend last night at Century City's Cinemas. My first time there and I loved it. One of the best cinemas I've been to so far! The place is small, and it can only seat around 50 people or less? The audio-visual system and effects were really great. Of course, the leather and cushioned seats/couches were super comfy 128077🏻 it was quite a struggle not to have a short nap. 128517 You get your seats at the start of the show so there's no need to line up (like in other cinemas). I hope movie goers be more disciplined though. 128533 after the movie, saw a lot of mess on the (carpeted) floor. sana they at least put them in one place lang like the cup holder and not throw anywhere!

Jurrasic World was the bomb!128077🏻 especially for the nerds and geeks (like me!) out there! Loved this movie when I was younger and 20 years after, it still boggles my mind! I love how it criticizes our consumerist culture while blatantly advertising powerful brands such as Coca-Cola, Starbucks, Mercedes, and even Pandora... That's irony for you!128540 *sarcasm is good for you*

Went all the way to Century City to watch this movie because Trinoma cinemas has proven to be subpar movie experience lately... Sadly, the crowd was unruly at CCC as well... There were a lot of noisy kids, but you know what? The rest of the audience were united in shushing and berating these children... It was kind of funny actually... For me, I love this movie franchise too much to let anything bother me, even the dude beside me who kept pulling a "LeBron" (you know what I mean NBA fans!)... Clean cinemas, great sound, cozy temperature inside and cushy seats with movable arm rest! 128077🏻 reasonably priced as well!

Kids of the nineties, watch this movie!128522128525128513

The cinema was a small, clean and good. Comfy seats but I still prefer watching at Megaworld Cinemas. Insidious 3 was great but Chapter 1 was still the best! 128561128123128128

After having some esophagus-slashing drink at Tipsy Beans, I went to century city mall to visit a restroom (oops, TMI) but I ended up looking for some time-killing things to do and I happen to pass by the cinema. I was alone and I never thought that I'd be watching a horror film all by myself.
Watching cinema alone is one of the list of things i want to do alone... but not for a horror film. But yeah, since I'm already there and I'm not a fan of any of the movies there (bc my mates told me which showing movies are not worth watching in the cinemas) so I went for a self-challenge.
OVERCOME YOUR FEAR AND BRAVE THIS.
I remember that when we watched unfriended, the trailer of Insidious was played and I screamed like crazy in that part when some element suddenly grabbed the girl... I know it's so scary. But I did it. I screamed countless times and cursed in my head, I even laughed at some parts.
But the best part is when the senior citizens who happen to sit beside me laughs about the girls(including me) who are watching who scream most of the time. Hell, it was fun hearing their convo.
There was like ten to fifteen people who watched it with me... okay... Intimate, isn't it?
Well, aside from the unusual size of the cinema, which is very small, I found nothing to criticize. The screen is huge, the sounds are good, a/c is well managed and the seats are comfy!
Hooray. For. A. Horror. Movie.

The cinema was small. Distance between rows were ample for one to walk through but still kinda close. We were seated at row E but I didn't expect the screen to be a lil close to us. Still a good movie watching experience. Oh, and there's Taters so that's a plus for me. 128522

I rarely go to Century mall. If I'm not mistaken, it was probably my second time to go here so I'm being such a tourist and leaving reviews of their cinemas.

One thing:
Any other cinema > SM Cinemas

So that's basically my review HAHAH kidding.

Again, I was there on a weekday so there only about 5 other people with us. The aircons served their purpose, their seats don't smell like the past hundreds of people who have sat on it, the film was clear, and Age Of Adaline was sad I almost shed a tear (I'm a real cry baby when it comes to movies)

The cinema is too small tho...but considering the size of Century Mall, it's probably jus right. I love their movie tickets tho. Lol it's simple but I get the old cinema vibes from it.

If you're not a fan of crowds (like me) this cinema is for you. It's small and even you are on the left/right-most side of the seats, it won't matter. You're able to watch comfortably. The thing i didnt like though, is how the seats are elevated. Not much elevated. We're luck we're in the third row, and the people in front of us is not tall enough to block my view 128516
And the price is cheaper compared to my favorite cinema (BHS), The Avengers for just 220! 128515
