Still one of the best teppanyaki places.
Food was superb.

Some of our orders took awhile but was worth the wait.

Ordered the fried rice, sirloin steak (medium), oysters and gindara plus the usual Japanese favorites---tempura, cold noodles and maguro and salmon sashimi.

Made our Christmas dinner!

Place was pretty well kept considering its age.

AWESOME Japenese food! The serving is really huge that every meal is good for two persons. A little pricey (of course it is located inside the hotel) but the food is worth it!

Who would've thought that delicious Japanese food can be found inside Century Hotel? For the longest time I only know of this hotel for wedding receptions of my fellow Fil-Chis (because hello Century=Chinese food), or birthday parties of their kids.

Every dish was just delicious. Tasty, huge servings and really fresh ingredients were used. Presentation of their bento sets were also really nice. Some of the dishes our group had were the Cold Soba, Saba Fish, Pan-fried chicken with teriyaki sauce, Tempura, California Maki (they were huuuge!), Seafood Udon (with lots of mini scallops!) and a whole lot more. I loved everything!

My favorite would probably the Gyuniku beef that came with our Teppan? set (photo above9757️). The server didn't me ask me how I'd like my beef and they cooked it well done. I was afraid it would be too tough but it wasn't. The beef was suuuper tender and very tasty. Would definitely come back to this place.128077

My auntie had free vouchers worth 1,200++ so we claimed it and since we were 5, we had to order additional meals for three people.

• PLACE - Feels authentic jap with all the lights and table, the place was very well presented and portrays traditional japanese heritage.

• FOOD - Not good. It's expensive and not worth it. I got the tempura bento and for 600++, I wasn't satisfied. The soup and salad was good but I didn't like the other side dish which I didn't know. Plus, I expected more prawns but there were only two and the rest were veggies. Damn. The gyudon which my sister wasn't satisfying as well (for her).

• PRICE - Expensive. Not worth it. Go somewhere else. Try something unknown like the ones along Aguirre st. in BF homes or better, try little Tokyo in Makati.

• SERVICE - The bento and gyudon were fast but the chicken for my niece took forever!

I think I already said everything. Nothing more, nothing less. In short, not worth visiting.

We were in a hurry but I was soo hungry and couldnt last another minute without eating so we ordered a quick meal at Tsukiji!

Soba was perfect! Id go back for this anytime! Katsudon was safe hehe!

Good quality Japanese food. I ordered the beef teppanyaki set meal128077128077128077Pretty damn good! But about P850. Includes, Japanese rice, miso soup, vegetables, some sides and I added an Asahi. This was very filling.

We shouldn't have ordered all those sushi and tempura on the side cause we didnt finish them.

Service was attentive (okay fine, I was with the big bosses and they're known cause they own the Century hotel, hehehe); place really feels authentic Japanese.

Nothing stood out that I haven't tried before so I'd say I like it, but since I went safe with my order, what i got waa good Japanese food and a good quality one at that.

Celebrate here with your family; this was a business meeting so I'm not paying. 128539

P.S. they have a Make Your Own Bento for lunch, P575++, so it's flexible.

We got the special 6-course meal. First out was this sushi, maki, and sashimi platter pictured. Then a yasai salad with gyoza; shake korokke; clam fried rice, tonjiru and oshinko; tenderloin, chicken, ebi, and yasai mori teppanyaki; and a strawberry dessert. ALL SO PEDESTRIAN. Everything they served was downright elementary Japanese food you see everywhere. Service is good though - and it should be, it's a hotel restaurant for heaven's sake.
