Tried out Cerchio for my mom's birthday, since there has been a number of restos spurting about QC, time to try their version of famous pinoy foodies...

We had their pumpkin malunggay soup, wherein the malunggay leaves were I guess grinded to bits and still had the prominent hue of the pumpkin, hearty enough for the chilly night 128522128077🏻10084

Crispy Pata which had 3 different kinds of sauces 128522 also, yum 128522128077🏻10084

Colorful Nachos with chili con carne, cheese and salsa 128522128077🏻10084

Pork Sisig with those mini sunny side uppers on top and sisig shaped like mounds 128522128077🏻10084️ yummy as well

Ginger crusted Tilapia Fillet with lemon beaur blanc sauce, nicely done 128522128077🏻10084

Bourbon Ribs with corn and vegees, flavorful and tender with the sauce in just the right amount 128522128077🏻10084

Cerchio's Tiramisu 12852210084128077🏻 rustic style hehehe 128522128522128522

Still a great dining find, owning its versions of pinoy fusion cuisine 128522128077🏻10084127881127864

My family has always been a fan in filipino restaurants, we go every sunday and look for restaurant spots that are worth trying, since this is near extraordinail (where my mom goes to for her nails session. ) we opted to try it out. Viola, exactly that week my auntie's having a birthday party for our team so this is where it is held, we booked the restaurant earlier than the scheduled opening time which is 11am, so we were there at 10am since they said we can already go jn, the problem is when we got there the resto was still closed and to top it off they didn't even prepare for us coming earlier since we booked for 10am, when we got inside around 10:30 the aircon was not yet opened and the servers was a little late in serving food to us, we even have to wait for the room(located 2nd floor) to be cold before we got in, but 2 thumbs up for having a comfort room in the 2nd floor. The ambiance of the place is quite nice, very mellow, good for couples having dates or anniversary. They also have a smoking area located in the 2nd floor ;) My real problem was the food, we ordered a lot and a lot by meaning it went from 8k-12k worth of meal. Not all the food were worth it. Some pasta's are either dry or have a different taste, crispy pata was big, enough for 2-3persons but what made me through lunch was the chicken :) it was superb... that is all i can say, i even ordered a second round for my fellow colleagues. PS: they don't conserve on shrimps so if you want a lot, i think your going to be pleased with them 128514

Had a late lunch at Limbaga. Ordered the Kalabasa Soup (P197.00), Baked Lechon Paksiw (P577.00), Fried Herb Chicken (P327.00), Sweet and Sour Lapu Lapu (P577.00) and the Pastillas Polvoron Cake (P277.00). Place was huge and swanky with a very accommodating valet parker. Most of the taste were average despite the exorbitant pricing. Fish was flavorful and the cake unique. If only the Polvoron was better. Service was almost nonexistent as we constantly had to raise our hands to ask for assistance. We also was not lucky that day as a very cocky guy trying to impress a girl was in front if us while on our left an over confident lawyer who is persuading 2 ladies in his networking business. In any case, it was worth a try for this lush and enormous restaurant.

You can't argue about the food. Always flavorful. Always value for money, and you will have to dish out a bit of money as it is a bit pricey. Still, you can't go wrong with their menu. The only problem I encountered was a bit of confusion between fries and rice that I ended up with both. Oh well...

Such cute eggs atop our sossy sisig! The ambiance was perfect for friends gathering after a week of hard work. There was a band playing but we opt to converse. We still can hear from the lounge. We got the platter and it was okay. Price is a bit steep but we got the perfect corner I'm willing to let that go.

I highly encourage those who are big big crispy pata fans to try out Cerchio's oven baked crispy pata. My parents are crispy pata people so when they saw Cerchio's poster (movie???) for their oven baked crispy pata as we were parking, they already knew that that's what they were going to get.

I'm not a crispy pata girl and I only eat the crispy balat so I also got tilapia, gambas and garlic rice. It was a really good day for us three because literally every item we got was a hit. 128588🏻 Literally. The crispy pata wasn't oily, it was super good and my parents enjoyed finishing the dish that could feed a family of four. 128055128557 They also said that the price (almost PHP 700) was pwede na 'cause they found it super good.

Service was good too! As I was prepping my base for war (ehem Peanut D Erick B Jacy L Odell R Celine J, etc), I suddenly heard the waiters also collecting gold and elixir. 128557 #COCNation

The place still looked good and had lots of parking space. Well it was after lunch so... Maybe they get packed when it's dinner time.

had late mother's day lunch here with the boyps' mom yesterday.

parking was still difficult even at 1pm. good thing they have valet parking.

i was able to get a table for 4 in less than 10 min. service was slow. we had to ask for water, plates, spoons and fork a couple of times. i did get a soup bowl and a spoon by going to the kitchen talaga! i have no patience in waiting coz i had to ask for spoon about 3 times sa 3 waiters but i didn't get it. so solution, i did get my own, i was hungry man! gutom na rin matatanda and i don't want to ruin lunch by waiting. i understand na it was mother's day and the second floor was reserved for a party pero proper scheduling lang yan ng servers diba since they know na may occasion. i have to commend them though, serving of the food was fast. i guess they have enough kitchen people yesterday.

tuna salpicao was great! the fish was soft and was seasoned well but not salty! the ribs were amazing too. a bit sweet for the bf's liking but it was drop off the bone soft. the crispy squid heads dish was a failure. some were crispy and some were not. parang naiwan ng matagal sa kitchen. oriental salad was still good. careful lang sila sa greens, medyo may luma na yung iba. pumpkin malunggay soup was a hit.

even though there were a few misses i still liked our lunch. they gave complimentary umbrellas to moms yesterday!

Cerchio's Pork Sisig - given that Sisig should have lots of fats, this one was just fats. Not even a little meat. It's not even crunchy, and you can see all the oil oozing out and quickly turning into "sebo"

Singaporean Crispy Squid Heads - I thought it should be squid heads? We got three heads and the rest were legs or fried breading. Aside from that, we noticed that our order is definitely a lot less in quantity compared to the other table whose order arrived the same time as ours. (Not very visible in the photo, but it's the table in the background) it would have been a yummy order, except it didn't live up to its name - although it was crunchy. Just not squid heads.

Pumpkin Malunggay Soup - 128077 this was good, something new and it was not too creamy. Although they could have served the soup a little more warmer.

Garlic Pasta with Chicken - it was too dry, doesn't even taste like there's garlic.

(Not in photo) :
Karekare - 128077it's good too. The meat isn't hard, there were enough veggies and meat ratio too. Although I have to admit that I've tasted better Karekare elsewhere.

Pesto Pasta - (the no shrimp or chicken version) it's good. 128076 And this is the only dish all four of us who ate here agree that it's the best among the other food we ordered.

As for service: it wasn't that good. But it wasn't that bad too. You have to wait a while for a waiter to respond to you. You have to (sometimes) request for warm water or toothpick or whatever it is, twice before they give it to you. The bill came out quickly though, and that's a plus.

Cerchio serves one of the best sisigs I've tasted, and those little fried pigeon eggs are just too cute. That's probably the reason why this dish is one of the most photographed food (aside from the crispy pata) in Cerchio reviews.

And props to Looloo, you make ordering in restaurants so much easier because of all the recommendations I've read. Everything we ordered were sulit and actually not as pricey as we expected.

What I find iffy though were the plastic chairs. They don't seem to fit in with the whole lounge vibe of the restaurant?

Oh how I wish I could post more pictures of my food shots here just to show you how REALLY GOOD their dishes are. But I can't, so I decided to post the one that makes me wanna come back to this resto over and over. Just a warning though, forget your Diet when you're planning on dining here. 128521

Posted is one of their signature dish, the pork sisig! It's a gourmet take to the Filipino classic which usually is served on a hot plate. Cerchio's is crisped up, and topped with a sunny side-up QUAIL's EGG. It's rich, it's sinful, it's priced just right, and best of all, it's so good!! YOU NEED TO ORDER THIS when you come here.

Aside from their sisig, another must-try is the Oven-Baked Crispy Pata. Priced at PhP600+, it comes with three different sauces ( soy-based, sweet Vinegarette, and one other) and is of course, good for sharing. The meat is fork tender and very tasty, and for those who love chicharon, the skin is crisped up to perfection.

Lastly, I suggest you try their version of Ensaladang Talong. It's plated "Caprese-style" (ala-twin towers, Haha). They used fresh, thick tomato slices to sandwich the macerated grilled eggplant that's seasoned with citrus (not suka), and mixed with the usual staples in making a classic ensalada. Priced at PhP165 per order, this may be shared by 2 to 3 persons considering of course, that you've ordered something else. It, for me, served as the "palate-cleanser" what with all the sinful dishes I have just mentioned.

The only downside of this resto is the parking space. Located just near Congo Grill and Relish, the resto only has parking for about 8 to 10 cars. The side streets are already being utilized, but I guess with the demand and the traffic of foodies going to the T. Morato area, it's gonna be a bit of a challenge. Suggest that you carpool with friends instead if you're a big group.

Over-all verdict, please read this post again. Ü. Happy eating!!

It's my first time to post a review here. Unfortunately, it is a negative review. My family and i just had my mom's birthday celebration at lunch time today. The food was great, they all taste good. But one thing i hate and for that i won't be coming back is their customer service. We had a lot of leftovers and we asked them to wrap those up. We got the food but it lacks the crispy pata which had the most leftovers (we ordered three crispy pata's). We then asked the wait staff where is it and they told us that they threw it since mostly are just bones. We will not asked them to wrap the leftover crispy pata if those are just bones unless we have a dog to feed at home and even though they are really just bones they should have asked us first. After our complaint they apologize and just gave us a small package of freshly cooked crispy pata. Upon checking the wrap at home we found out that they gave us all bones with some rice sticking into it and might came from leftover plates of some customers. My family and i was insulted with that act. It's not about the pata and the money! We paid 11k plus 1k service charge and we get this?! Shame on you Cerchio Management!!!
